  1. No, it probably wouldn't. Freedom of speech rules. As long as the post wasn't offensive and contained valid information, the mods should (and probably would) let it stay open. This whole thread is offensive though. Just look at the title. :?
  2. I implied that monopolies, in the context of a capitalistic society, are bad (my main point involving greed). In technical terms, socialism is a monopoly but in my opinion it's a good one because it lacks the greed, which was my main point in the first place. So really, saying socialism is a monopoly when you know fully well what I implied doesn't hold much water at all.
  3. He could have, but I know a lot better than to rely on just hearsay alone. Why wouldn't Jesus (the son of God!) leave behind any writings? Am I the only one who finds that silly?
  4. Socialism = Monopoly Invisible hand = Monopoly

Don't let them get to you Noob. They lack the imagination to ever understand idealism. :(
  6. How is the fact that people are greedy a justification for having things such as monopolies? Greed doesn't justify more greed. That's how it's circular.
  7. So... People are actually debating whether or not Jesus actually existed? He did. Good luck proving he didn't. Is flinging the burden of proof onto people the only debating tactic you know of?
  8. That's such a circular argument though.

That's a good way of putting it. I mean, there are differences when it comes to religion, race, and gender but it doesn't make anybody any more or less "human" than the next person. The problem is that different people draw the line at different places. How equal can you say things really are when the man pays for the lady's dinner, holds doors open for her, etc.? I think those are called rednecks.

Nobody should have more/less opportunities based on their ascribed status. Nobody should hit anyone either. But sadly the world does not work this way.
  11. Hedonism: 1 Depression: 0 What's the difference? If you are fulfilling a pleasure, then why would you be depressed? Edit: I think I get your point now... Are you saying that a being high isn't permanent but depression can be?
  12. Metallica - Creeping Death
  13. Ooo, touche. :D I can't argue with that.
  14. Would it be foolish if I said, "Stealing is bad," because I'm supposed to expect humankind to be imperfect?

  16. I think the main factor is how much time and effort you put into getting them. This includes expensive capes like Herblore and Prayer too. Even though they might be easy to train if you have all the supplies, you still have to acquire masses and masses of wealth to make it possible in the first place. Hunter and Mining might not take as long as some other skills, but the constant-clicking really makes getting these capes challenging. And on the other end of the spectrum, Runecrafting and Slayer take forever to get to 99. All in all, I'd say Skill Capes show determination and patience (depending on which cape we're talking about).
  17. My favorite P2P update would either be Summoning or God Wars. The best F2P update would probably be Home Teleport. Simple but extremely helpful.
  18. Of course, we all probably have those thoughts. You just have to look for the silver lining though. I'm a strong believer that everything has it's purpose in life - even all the bad things. I've just went through a very depressing stage in my life not too long ago, but now things are looking pretty good for me. :)
  19. Monkey Madness is worth doing for the D Scimmy. It's a pretty good Strength weapon. Ehh, cape really isn't that important but if you feel up for the challenge of getting a Fire Cape then why not? :) It doesn't degrade for a while. You have hours of solid combat training until it degrades and when it does the cost isn't really that expensive. It's definitely well worth it.
  20. You could probably get away with killing Greens at 60, although there are much better alternatives for quicker Xp. I would personally do Ogres until 70, then Greens until 75 then advance onto Blues.
  21. Remember when you were young, You shone like the sun. Shine on you crazy diamond. Now there's a look in your eyes, Like black holes in the sky. Shine on you crazy diamond. You were caught on the crossfire Of childhood and stardom, Blown on the steel breeze. Come on you target for faraway laughter, Come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine! You reached for the secret too soon, You cried for the moon. Shine on you crazy diamond. Threatened by shadows at night, And exposed in the light. Shine on you crazy diamond. Well you wore out your welcome With random precision, Rode on the steel breeze. Come on you raver, you seer of visions, Come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine!
  22. A more populated forum, which means more locks and trolls. :ohnoes:
  23. Then that would definitely be Runecrafting, with Slayer behind it.
  24. It depends on what you define "useful" as. Useful could mean the one that makes you the most money (Runecrafting), the one that helps you survive battles longer (Cooking), the one that gets you around Runescape quicker (Agility), the one that boosts your combat the most (Herblore), or the one that has the most capabilities (Crafting).
  25. Okay, so if a sperm is not anything, that still doesn't mean it is "nothing"? Say what? Yay, it's my turn to play semantics. Nothing is a concept that describes the absence of anything at all PS: I'm going to repeatedly ask you these questions until I get an answer Sly: Why is it wrong to kill a human? Why is it wrong to kill an embryo? Why isn't it wrong to kill a sperm? Why isn't it wrong to stop a rape?
