there was no need to post the same thing 10 hours later , a seperate forum for shops would create too much confusion on where to post. We already have thousands of users who fail to post properly , we dont need anymore.

Downloading just for the sake of downloading is pointless. You are looking for ways to speed up your system , installing tons of useless programs on it JUST because you downloaded them will do exactly the opposite.

Nothing really raised a "red flag" in your log. If you dont have an educated answer to a question here , just dont post headshot , this is a known problem with ZoneAlarm which traces back to version 6.5 which I believe was released back in 2003. The only solution people on the web have found works is loading ZoneAlarm after MSN. Yes its a cheesy solution , but until Zonelabs acknowledges the problem and fixes it , then the only other option is installing a different firewall.

Actually , if you search for multiple words and dont select "search for ALL terms" then you are basically destroying your own results :P Single word searchs are far less accurate and will hardly ever find exactly what you are looking for :P

Open Firefox and go to Tools > Options right on the general tab there is a checkbox that says "check if firefox is my default browser" , click check now and it will ask you if you want to set it as the default , MOST links will now open with Firefox by default. As said above , alot of microsoft applications will force links to open in IE . You will also want to disable the default check for IE so when it does start , it wont keep asking you to make it the default , this is done on the "programs" tab in IE's options (check box is on the bottom)

To answer the question , no the forum nor the server crashed , There are often times I make small changes to the forum (updates if you want to call it that) that require to only login to "load" them, so i dump the sessions table in the database to force a login , which is what occured there. To answer any other questions , yes a query cache system HAS been implemented into phpbb by myself to reduce loading of the same information that never changes from the database over and over again. Unfortunately , we are having a slight problem with the forum server lately in regards to lag and its being worked on as quickly as possible .

The forum has more topics then any other forum besides the gallery .. thats not used alot ?
