Hey, Well today I installed a new motherboard for my friend, and came across an incredibly annoying error, which I have encountered in the past. After installing a new motherboard, the computer would not boot up from the hard drive. It always gave a "hard disk failure" error! In the past while switch hard drives from my computer to my dads computer, I've found the same error, but never knew what the cause of it was. Supposedly the drive is not properly "configured" with the motherboard, but how do I do that? I just expected to install the motherboard and have everything work fine, but apparently not. What am I doing wrong if anything? I just install the motherboard and re connect everything...am I missing something here?! This can't be right... Help Please!! :x

That...Won't work...They're attracted to lights, apparently. A nocturnal creature attracted to lights...Hmm... I have them in my house all the time, because it's an old house. Every single one of them has died a horrible death, save for one I actually managed to catch in a pillow case...They're too hard to catch because they're so fast. The majority got hit with a broom and picked up and put outside...They were never there in the morning, so it's a pretty safe bet none of them actually died that "horrible death", rather they were knocked out and flew away when they came-to. I do know one did die though, because he flew under my desk and when I went to move it, the leg landed right on his poor wittle bat head. :P So yea, the broom technique is recommendable, I guess. Good possibility you'll kill them, though. I've also had a bird in my house once, which I caught in a pillow case, and the absolutely incessant bombardment of squirrels in my walls - Yes, you heard right. They never come out to play, though. :( I've had a few bats in my house when I was in Trinidad, all of which got out alive. All of the bats in your house ended up dead. Who's advice should he take, mine or yours? :lol: Kinda obvious.

Noo, dont kill it?! Open the right doors and try to guide it out...We've had a few bats in our house in Trinidad, they always find their way out fine and don't harm anyone (not saying that they cant though...) but yeah, dont hit it with that snowshoe! #-o

Lol what? Fuse? :-s I watched some of it, it's pretty stupid. Anyone know why categories such as "Best Arist" have video nominees? Example for Best Artist "Dallas Green - Save Your Scissors". Wth? How can you have a video for best artist lol. It's Dallas Green, not his song also! Weirddddddddd. Awards went to only whoever showed up. Categories with huge names such as Kanye West, James Blunt, Mariah Carey, and the award goes to some no name person, just because kanye james and mariah wouldn't come to the MMVA's. What a joke :lol: Anyways, its in Toronto, my hometown, so it's a cool party anyhow I suppose :wink: Went down to Queen st last year and saw it, was fun!!

Yes, indeed. 3 minutes to go, Ghana is up 2 - 0! They just scored another on a 3 vs 1 breakaway, but it was called offside. They also just had another 1 vs 0 breakaway, but was called offside. Although their defence was weak, Ghana played simply amazing today, Czechs are all on the brink of tears. Wow....I love it. Congratz Ghana on their first win!!!! :D Edit: Extra time now, Czechs get a free kick. Ghana's goaltender makes not one, but TWO incredible saves. What a way to end the game. Talk about a tight group indeed, USA, Italy, Czech, Ghana. Wow.!

Cote D'Ivoire has been eliminated. They were a strong team, but just found themselves placed in that Pool of Death. Played well, certainly don't deserve to go home like this. Oh well....next up: Mexico vs Angola. I think i'll pass on this one :?

Here's my view, when I was growing up (as a young child). Many of my friends are from various places of the world, from Korea to Trinidad, Russia etc etc. We've always found it hilarious when some Canadian guy would be crying at school for getting in trouble at home. The usual complaint was, "My dad gave me a FIRM TALKING TO!". Lol. When you get to that age, 13 or so, of course bad things happen. However, I truly believe many of me and my friends at that time chose not to do things because of the consequences afterwards. The worst part about everything, regardless of how stupid we may have looked, was knowing that we'd have to come home and face our parents after it. I dunno, but if my parents were only going to give me a "firm talking to", It would have been so much easier to do bad things as a child. There would be no element of fear there. In addition, I find it amusing when people get grounded. I've never gotten grounded in my life, not because I haven't done stupid things in my time (which, sadly I have), but because my parents don't have the word "grounded" in their vocabulary. Ooohh, I can't watch TV or go outside...big deal. If you did it anyways, what would your parents do? Double ground you? A SUPER firm talking to? Lol. Funny. If done properly, by sensible parents (as I said before), beating your kids simply works. I'm saying that based on what I've seen from myself, and many people around me. This is all my own opinion.

Wow, I guess I'm kinda late on this topic...but anyhow: Definitely. I believe spanking should be used at home (if done by sensible parents) and heck, even using the cane whip at school, like they still do around the world. In my opinion, it works. I was "spanked" as you call it, as a kid. Not beaten, not injured, but hit, yes. Theres a difference between spanking and beating. The reason I say it works because, in my case, it has. I'm a 90 + avg student, and my parents never tell me what I can and cant do, or even when I can or cant go out. I know by now whats right and whats wrong, because I was taught that when I was a kid. WHenever my parents hit me, it was because what I was doing was unacceptable. Simple as that. If it was unacceptable the first time, I was smart enough to realize not to do it again :? :? On the otherhand, if you have those "trailer trash" people hitting their kids, things often get out of hand. The whole topic rests on the sensibility of the parents really.

After Homework - Study Dinner After dinner (time is unpredictable...) relax, MSN for the night, browse more sites. Around 9:00pm - Washroom (no explanation necessary, again). More net browsing after that.. Around 10:30 - 11pm SLEEP! And repeat. :P

I HATE the Heat, so I want the Mavs to win by default :? I like Wade, and I like Shaq, but every single other player on Miami I just can't stand, especially Payton and Mourning :x Wth is up with the NBA Finals schedule?? 3 days between games? How stupid is that?!?!?! :evil: :?
