looks quite good imo, one thing i noticed is that it looks like someone took a bite out of her hand. little weird looking imo. other than that, it's awesome.

[hide=yours][/hide] reminds me of a similar one i did a while back [hide=mine][/hide] similar just in the basic structure though. what program are you using for your fractals? i'm curious as it almost seems like your render settings are set kinda low. I like most of your fractals, the coloring is done really well on them, with the bright spots in good locations and all that. the only thing i can really say i would find wrong with them (besides possibly the render settings) is the lack of variety. they all mostly look similar. try varying your style a bit more, other than that i think you're doing great!

so, i've decided to make a thread here, which i hope to keep updated with my newest works and such, and what i desire in return is critique. i use apophysis 2.08 for all my fractals, and i finish small things with gimp. e.g. borders on some images, and the black backgrounds since apophysis 2.08 renders images with a transparent background. first things first. a link to my devart. http://evil-mumm-ra.deviantart.com/ simple enough. second thing, examples of my recent works, all of which are also in my devart gallery. I thought it was cool that they look so different when all i really did was flip it like 90 degrees.[/hide] i think all of those turned out quite well. critique me on any of the pictures, i've got the parameters saved for most of the new ones, if i don't have the parameters saved, there isn't much i can do for recreating it, but i'll take critique into consideration for any pictures that are similar.

i use GIMP for a lot of things, although recently i came up with something i didn't know how to do in gimp, but it could be done in photoshop. so i was all set to download the photoshop trial, and i found out i could do the same thing just as well in ifranview. i'm gonna stick with the gimp/ifranview combo for now.

[hide=solution for mc09123]i got the puny carrot by raising my town's economy to 2 or 3 stars, buying from a produce stall, sleeping for a week or 2, then buying another one. murgo's big book of trading, i found one in the fairfax castle bookshelves, bought the other in the bowerstone bookstore. regal purple dye i got in the bowerstone stylist shop, i think. maybe the tailor, if you can't find it, raise the economy a bit, sleep for a week and check back, rinse and repeat.[/hide]

yeah, riku is right. in the beginning of the game, you've gotta use the normal aiming at times, the action points just don't fill up fast enough to always use it. later on at level 20, i got the grim reaper's sprint perk, action points refilled if i killed someone with VATS, making it damn near impossible to run out of action points if i was using a good weapon.

won't really mess up career opportunities unless that person is going to do something very customer related. i worked in a foam factory for a year and a half before i was fired for reasons somewhat beyond my control, made enough to pay my bills, pay everything i needed, and still have a good bit left over. the pay wasn't great, but considering i didn't go to college or anything, and could have moved up a lot farther, it was good. also if you consider the experience of that on my resume, should i choose to work in manufacturing some more, i'll make even more money just because i have experience now. there are plenty of options that people may not even think about. the reason i even thought about the foam factory is cause my brother-in-law works there, he helped me get the job. i just happened to love it. basically what i'm saying is, it's fairly easy to find a job that will most likely allow you to have piercings and stuff that is out of the public eye. just keep an open mind about work, and you may find you enjoy a job you never thought you'd enjoy. benefits of both worlds. you do still have to consider the possibility of not being able to get a job though, especially if you are a very people oriented person.

it's still optional, i was able to hold my own on normal aiming without vats, back when action points were easy to run out of. i ended up aiming down the sights and killing things just fine, it just used more ammo that way. go for it man, you'll enjoy the game, if not, i'll do something to make up for your not fun time. or something. just look at pryomancer's avatar, i didn't even lose a bet for that.

i have lots of experience with the game. my final save before the endgame is at 99:30 ish for playtime. the VATS is optional, i'd honestly rent it and try it out. if you liked oblivion, you'll like fallout 3. it's incredibly similar, but different in a great way. you don't have to use VATS, VATS is just incredibly useful. if you find it too easy, turn the difficulty up. or use crappier weapons that are unrepaired. i'm not gonna lie, VATS is pretty cheap sometimes, but that doesn't make it any less fun, especially with the bloody mess perk. there is nothing to compare a vats critical hit to the face that makes the enemy's head and limbs explode off in a bloody mess.

Actually, you can only trigger the Firelance random event once. You get the 24 Alien Cells (depending where the ship blows up--the ammo commonly lands on rooftops), Firelance, and after that you can't get it again...OR so I've read. The AI have been seen with them though, mostly the Enclave Soldiers apparently. I've never actually seen them with them, though, so I can't say it's true. So basically, both of the things I said could be true/untrue, but just saying what I've read. :P I like the Firelance because of the ability to always hit a critical (like the alien blaster does) while also having the ability to light things on fire. Thats a plus. But I haven't really been using Firelance lately either though. I guess thats because the Shishkebab has taken its place. That, and Sydney's Ultra SMG...Meh, thats only todays game play though. I've actually been contemplating using the famous "Raise the level cap" mod, but I've heard of crashes and unusual things happening in game when it is installed. Does anyone have this mod? If so, does it work good? One last question: Before I used Windows LIVE, Fallout 3 rarely crashed unless I played excessively. Now it crashes...A lot. Anyone know any fixes? i'm on a 360, so no :P as for the random event i was talking about, i heard that you could randomly just find the alien ammo laying on the ground as a random event, not much, but you could. i never found a firelance on an enclave guy. i never used melee much either. sydney's ultra smg is good. lots of my final weapon inventory ended up being named weapons, lol.

i've noticed lots of people signing in and out of msn within the past like hour maybe? could just be some msn server problem for people. my msn works fine. have you tried rebooting or anything like that?

my scariest dream would probably have to be a violent suicide dream i had a few months ago, except i just wouldn't die even though i should have been dead like right away. that was an intense dream, not gonna go into it, but it's a weird feeling to be laying on the ground watching blood pour out of various wounds, but to not die. was a weird feeling when i woke up too. i wish i could lucid dream, but i don't usually remember my dreams unless they are violent, e.g. suicide dreams, or i've killed someone, or something like that. although before you all get creeped out, they don't happen often.

wow, nice connections, lol. about the whole HP thing, my current computer, and my old computer (both prebuilts my mom bought me and my sister) have for the most part been fine. no major problems other than high price for low specs. never really had to call the CS or anything though, and i do need a new tower only because this one is old and outdated. it's like 5 years old now. i was going to go with the dell tower building thing on their website for a fairly good deal on a tower, i don't know anything about building a computer so i can't do it myself. HP isn't bad though, and i've not really heard much bad about dell. i think you just kinda got caught in a bad place.

i don't have a firelance. i have an alien blaster though. i just hate how rare the ammo is. i can't be bothered trigging lots of random events to try and get ammo to fall from the sky. the alien blaster is ridiculously strong though.

would be interesting, that's for sure. i'm not sure what i'd do, test things out, see what it's like to be a female, then probably end up a bit bored with it. dunno really, would definitely be interesting though.
