Has King Black Dragon lost it's crown? (A Real Discussion)
Who said the KBD is the King of all dragons? Quite simply, he's the King of BLACK Dragons, therefore he's named the King BLACK Dragon. If Addy and Rune dragons are released, then addy dragons will be Level 369, and Rune at 419, (Since the combat level difference between the metal dragons alternates between 57 & 58 levels) which would cause the KBD to have a level of more than that if Jagex desires, which would result in a level of 444, or 476 (Dunno why I like those.) Maybe a Queen Black Dragon can be added to the lair, and make it multicombat, and have the Queen at level 555 or 576. Special drops for these creatures could be: Dragon Pickaxe for the QBD, and a Dragon Warhammer for the KBD. The KBD can also drop a smoke staff (unlimited air and fire runes), and the QBD can drop Steam staff (unlimited water and fire runes). Finally, to keep those whiny rangers at bay, top it off with a new bow- the slayer bow. Requiring a mere 70 range, it provides a cheaper alternative to the crystal bow. It fires three pieces of ammunition at once, at the speed of a shortbow on rapid. However, the only drawback is that the ammo is made from gold- Golden arrowheads must be smithed, and used on headless arrows made from yew logs. the Golden arrows can hit up to 15 per arrow, however, normal hits are around 5 per arrow, 15 per shot.

What after Rune dragons
Steel Dragons: Dragon Legs/Skirt Mithril Dragons: Dragon Full Helmet Adamantite dragons: Dragon Kiteshield Runite Dragons: Dragon Platebody DragoniDragons: Uber Pwning 1337 N00B Pwn4ag3!!!! Honestly, probably won't exist.. may be released as Draconic or Dragonic Dragons. Following the format that The Steel and Mithril Dragons have set forth, it's reasonable to assume that the two future Dragons will each have a unique Dragon armor drop associated with them. Combat Levels: Bronze Dragon: 131 Iron Dragon: 189 Steel Dragon: 246 Mithril Dragon: 304 Addy Dragon: 361 Rune Dragon: 419 Draconic Dragons (Highly unlikely): 476 Reasoning: The combat level difference between bronze and iron is 58, while it is 57 between iron and steel, yet goes back to 58 for the difference between steel and mithril. Therefore, it's reasonable to assume that the difference between Mithril and Addy will be 57 (361), and 58 for Addy and Rune (419).

Make Debate Club its own board?
why don't we just stick this in the Debate Club? It's more intelligent than anything else there anyway. : However, I do have to say that the Debate Club needs to be placed in its own spot in the Index, it would encourage more well-thought out, thought-provoking responses that are necessary for the forum's survival. Not only would you get more intelligent posts, but you'd also be able to ease the load on Debate Club patrons by making it easier to access the best forum (in my opinion) on these boards.

Do you use sarcasm in RuneScape?
Sarcasm...sarcasm... Isn't that the thing where two morons talk in an intelligent manner? Or was I thinking too futuristic now? I guess I can say I greatly used it during my RS "career," too bad that game that calls itself Run Escape, Rune Scape, or even Runes Cape for that matter, is simply too dull for me these days. It is apparent that the highly civilized scapers on these forums are well educated, mature, and polite people, and I'm sure your IQ is above that of Leonardo Da Vinci. I guess that applies to those 3333 idiots on the RS Forums. Guess I'll leave this mess now!

What kind of combat type is ur favorite?
Melee, but if I have the runes, mage. Range is by far my least favorite skill.

What is your networth?
Since I haven't been on in a while..... I have 2 mil cash, 27k rune ess, around 14k airs, and about 200k worth of rune, 100k worth of runes (other than airs), and 750k worth of TT stuff- so that comes to 4,163,000 gp, plus around 130k worth of "junk," bringing it all the way up to a pathetic 4.3 million GP. And of course, I'm F2P, without a clue of how to make money

The argument between the classes.
Did anyone ever realize this: Melee's power is relatively evenly distributed throughout all levels making two meleer's with the same combat level roughly equal in power. Mage on the other hand, is overpowered at the lower levels, and underpowered at the mid-levels, yet comes out fairly well at the higher ones. C'mon, which other combat class let's you hit 8 damage in one turn at a mere level 13? Range, however, is lower in max hit due to one reason-speed. Rapid is an attack style meant to do extremely fast damage. If rangers could suddenly hit constant 30's you'd see instant Range KO's everywhere. Also, Range is a skill that only pays off at the higher levels-above level 75, a ranger can hit constant 13's on rapid, with the enemy barely having time to heal. If range's max hit was increased, they would be utterly overpowered. Most people complain range is underpowered because they fight against armor/monsters with a high range defense, or because their range is NOT high enough!!! :-w I'll use the following example: 2= Normal attack speed (melee); 1=attack speed of range (on rapid); 3=Attack speed of Magic Spells (using max hit, mage using god spells, melee using d-long (lvl 60 str), range using rune arrows) (Level 60, basic equipment all skills) Second 1-Range=13 Damage Second 2-Melee=15 Damage, Range=13 Damage Second 3-Mage=20 Damage, range=13 Damage Second 4-Range=13 Damage, Melee=15 Damage Second 5-range=13 Damage Second 6-Melee=15 Damage, Range=13 Damage, Mage= 20 Damage Second 7-range=13 Damage Second 8-range=13 Damage, Melee=15 Damage Second 9-range=13 Damage, Mage=20 Damage Second 10- range=13 Damage Without factoring anything else, and if they all hit their max hit, Range obviously wins with 130 damage, with melee coming in with 75 damage, and mage coming in with a mere 60 damage. Although these figures are relatively approximate, the fact remains that range can do MUCH damage in a short amount of time. However, accuracy of range attacks is not high, so their damage is usually halved. If this was factored in, melee would win at 75 damage, followed by range at 65, and mage with 60. These figures are all RANDOMLY occurring, as you can have a lucky streak and his 130, and hit 0's for the next ten hits. Debate Club anyone?

money!!!
Let's see....since I'm F2P, I'd have to say most i've had was 28k rune ess (for runecrafting), plus 2.1 mil cash (along with some rune armor and other junk)

Major f2p update of 2007?
I'm F2P so don't get me wrong....but, I'm sick of hearing the fact that we need bankspace. The fact remains, that if WE get bankspace, a row or so of member's bankspace would be turned F2P, so what I propose is a way to store our random event clothes, such as:

Economically Challenged
Sorry if I wasn't clear.....but here is what I meant to say (in layman's terms) 1) The economy is relatively unstable now- The price of the Gp has dropped (relative to other items). Evidence includes this: The definition of being "wealthy" in RSC was having a set of full rune, and having about 1 million GP in cash. Nowadays, even that it considered "poor." The reason I did not use items in particular as a comparison here is because they always fluctate, since supply and demand for items always changes, and would cause someone to make an incorrect assumption. 2) Jagex has clearly said that they would not like to have an iron grip on the economy. My question is, What do YOU think of this? Should Jagex revise this philosophy and control the prices of everyday items, by controlling the respawn rates of raw materials? 3) The backlash that I am referring to was an analogy to post WWI Germany, where the price of items skyrocketed due to the government constantly making more money (In Runescape terms, players high-alching millions of GP, thereby causing the value of the GP to drop) 4) To help fight off this backlash, I would like to know what players think Jagex should do- Should they control the economy, and limit the amount of certain items in the game?

Economically Challenged
The Ruenscape economy has come to the point where it is highly unstable- GP is being brought into the economy in massive amounts (through High-alchemy), and then you have the player hording items to get a skill cape. The problem at hand is that inflation has had its toll on the economy, and we are now suffering the backlash of it. What we must do now is to determine a viable option to help put the economy back on track. Please fell free to post and discuss on what Jagex ought to do to help the economy- Should they have a tighter grip on the Runescape economy?

Should JAGEX Intervene?
Well, sorry, it has been a while since I have posted here.... I wasn't expecting this thread to stir such a great debate. Now, I do agree with you that I did greatly exaggerate the coal being 12k a piece....but that was just to further my own point : . Now, to the issue regarding High-alchemy- The Runescape economy does revolve around alchemy, since, without it, the demand for items such as Dragonhide, Bows, etc, would plummet. Therefore, I have revised my outlook on this- What I suggest is that a player has the capability to unlock "middle level alchemy" as a spell at level 55 magic. This spell would give 47 experience, and would require 1 Nature Rune, and 5 Fire Runes. The gold it would give would be halfway between that of high and low alchemy (ex- If an item yields 300 GP for Low alchemy, and 500 GP for High Alchemy, you would get 400 GP for Middle Level Alchemy." Now, High Alchemy's requirement would be increased to level 72 Magic, and would now require only 2 nature runes. It would still yield the same amount of GP as now (maybe slightly more). Another revision that I would like to propose is the addition of a limit to alchemy. This limit would allow a player to have an alloted amount of GP that he could bring into the economy- say, 1 million GP per player, per 6-months. This would limit the castings of this spell, and thereby, reducing the amount of GP brought into the economy.

Is the lumberjack outfit worth the trouble?
No one here mentioned the fact that the extra 325k xp you get is not logs.....so if you are chopping yews, you end up losing 1858 yew logs because of wearing the outfit (Since you get an extra 325k xp total from it, when getting 13 million xp)
