Its not fair to the player to pay for their mistakes? The quest gives you 400k xp and 1/3 of a dragon plate for gods sake! If anything the rewards over-balance the cost! This is like a merchants dream! Free armor, free XP, free everything! Even if their mistakes only cost a small amount, its still worth spending to finish the quest.

Magic does have godstaves. Mage arena spells. Magic also got the new PvP spells. Range got the darkbow and the bolts. They are overpowered as it is. They can hit 50s with a fairly high range level from a distance. Not to mention extra effects of stealing prayer, reducing stats, and hybrid magic without much sacrifice for defense/offense. Thats more than melee can boast. I dont think they need an upgrade. I find it ironic that your avatar is a picture of a darkbow spec hitting double 48s...

Building it would thus become construction based "Congratulations! You are now level 99-wheel-turning-rope-tying-sail-raising-bucket-bailing!" Thats cool. A skill about reading the same maps of the same ocean, and turning the wheel to get there. With FM, Herblor, Fletch, and WC, there are at least different things to do. Different log types. Arrows for fletching, many different potions for herblor, FM, at least there are pyre and tinder-less firemaking.

Agree. I hate taking breaks to check on those damn things. Might make a timer in flash or something that will count down the needed time and then alert me when I need to go collect my items. Would make my life so much easier, and might actually get my farming up.

The only time Iv seen Jagex have to step outside and call authorities is when kids were caught talking about gun threats at their school, and the FBI was called to investigate. I think Jagex has better things to worry about than someone jacking wireless internet. Its not like stealing cable, or anything else, because wireless is your CHOICE to password it or not. You could leave it open for the soul purpose of your neighbor using it (we did this before for ours) and the side effect is that anyone can do it. Not necessarily. Get a combination of prayer armor, range armor, and god items to protect from the monsters, and its easy. Use prayer.

Members are the only ones with lobster spots near a bank. What happens if more than half the game got the same ability as a member? Fish market crash.

I like the idea. It gives people who finally get the quest done, still a fair reward. If it takes me 6 months to get the quest finished, the armor would drop like a rock to standard prices once I finally do it. Limiting the input to 1 piece per quest makes the prices stay up there. Its truly a Grand Master quest.

[Source] Might seem a bit lame, but it was intentional. Actually, it probably wasn't. They hear about this, go "HOLY CRAP! We forgot to let the knights drop the armor! But we can't take the blame...", and say that it was "intentional" all along. And if that's not true, than that mod whatever certainly does NOT have his head screwed on right. Or maybe this isnt EasyScape. Every quest can be done within a short amount of time and a guide. If your a true master of quests, you should have been able to assess the need of the armor. Obviously your not. This is the only quest with consequences. Every other one; your always able to go back and get the items when your done. If you would have kept them, you could have finished the quest in the first place, then played the market and made 5 million. But, you get to pay for your mistake. I completely agree with Jagex on this one. The armor prices will remain high, and Ill have no problem getting 15M and 400k for a quest.

Nvm. Guide said you could skip the cutscenes by running anyway, but, I guess I had to watch the last one, cause, I made ANOTHER pyre (4) after I came back from lighting 3 (I died) and he retreated. Closed.

I built one, and died, then I came back, built all three, and just burned them all at once. I saw the three cutscenes, and the beast is still following me, with super hard attacks.

The guide says make and burn three pyres. I did this. The beast is still hammering my [wagon] and the warrior is just standing there. It says the beast is suppose to retreat- its not. What do I do? Build more?

Sell it? They are only going to keep dropping, there isnt any hurt in putting an offer in and hoping someone is dumb enough.

Sadly I did not. I used swiftkit and self edited the full pictures afterwards. Oh well, I have about 3gigs of full sized pictures to boot Ouch. Yeah. Swiftkit to take the screenshot, and a cropper to just use coords to get it perfect every time. :wall: Thats a lot of pictures. This thread is epic tho. Can 1 hit KO anyones bandwidth.
