I don't see anything wrong with the math but just empirically there seems to be something wrong with it. It seems right. I mean, in, pretty much the best PvP safe gear(Nezzy, Fury, Bandos CP and Tassets, DFS, D Boots, and Barrows Gloves), the defense bonus of stab is only 9 higher. Roughly, someone with a CR will hit ~18% of the time, while CLS hits about 20% of the time. While slashing CLS htis about 23% of the time. Considering how close the hit chance is, I would say speed wins out even in the highest armored PvP scenarios.

Spiritual Mages. They are good cash, easy to kill, and afk-able.

Arcane whatever. No matter what you use, Arcane is better because of the +damage.
