I've done Kennith's Concerns: I still have about 8 quests to do ;)

First post of the year! Woo \ I wanted to put this here earlier but here it is now: [hide=Stats as of Jan 01 2009][/hide] And I got on over the last few days and did the new "In pyre need" quest, and the "Meeting History" quest. I have quite a few recent quests to catch up on so that's what I'll aim to do over the next few weeks That's it for now :D

I've been too busy to play much RS recently but I've got on and completed the Christmas event and quest \ Happy Christmas to all :D

Stadium Arcadium is good but I would like it if they released something that sounded like a mix of Californication/By The Way/BSSM :D I trust their new style will be good though :thumbsup: I did hear that they wouldn't release anything at least until 2010+. But it would be good if they had something due for release next year.

I consider myself as a skiller and some of my favourite skills are combat skills and slayer which are some of my higher skills. And even though a "pure skiller" is seen as someone who doesn't train combat, technically you could have 99 in all combat skills and still be a "pure skiller" since combat skills are skills - provided that you did nothing but train skills. So you can favour combat skills over non-combat skills and still be a skiller.

Yeah, times do change and you have to accept it, which I do, but it's ruining the uniqueness of killing mith dragons. And Makoto_the_Phoenix, you are kind of contradicting yourself. I don't think anyone does.

Isn't that what Pking has always been? What I don't understand is that Pkers say they PK because of the skill of it, yet they make unofficial rules to make Pking based on luck. Running, teleporting, "safing" (which seems to be anything from having >1 Defence, or armour of any type) and so on have always played a huge roll in PvP and I don't see how that's any different now. And not that I'm trying to start a rant or anything, but was is meant by a real PKer? You can run, teleport, one-item and still be a "real" PKer. In another thread, someone who claimed to be an expert Pker stated that to be a real Pker is to follow those PKing codes because it's not about the money, it's about a good fun fight. Yet if it isn't about the money, why not go to the duel arena, or clan wars, where you can kill the player the way you want?

Although I haven't killed as many as you, I completely agree with you. I've killed 100s and I regularly kill the odd 5 or 10 just in hope for a DFH. Now some Pkers kill a few people and get that drop that I've spent hours trying to get :roll:

If I am going to PK, I'm not going to follow some stupid rules so some hypocrites have a better chance at getting my items. Yeah sure, its annoying when you've been in a long fight then the person teleports but it's even more annoying when I get called a safer for eating, when they do, or when at a start of a fight the person says no teleporting and then does it himself. Even though I rarely PK (much because of the attitudes of most of the Pkers) I don't see why I should be forced to follow someone else's rules. So I guess a :thumbdown:

Well the choice is yours, if you want to take advantage of something you spent time training, then use it. Yes it might make it harder for yourself at times if others run or use prayer themselves. But if someone calls you a prayer noob for using it then go ahead and use it. It's apart of the game, it wasn't made to not be used. I mean if someone tells me to not use it, because it will make it harder for them to kill me, I might as well not train defence because it will make it harder for them to kill me, and I shouldnt buy good weapons or armour, because it will make it harder for them to kill me and so on... :roll: But in the end, both are after each others items, so why make it harder for yourself?

No drops but it was fun and I plan to do more, so if anyone is interested and I have the time I plan to go on more trips :D And total level is 1998 now! :shock: Only 2 to 2000!!
