  1. Here's mine. Hope all is in order. MS Paint is ftw. [hide=Behold! The Hypno-Square][/hide]
  2. Lots of things really. Quite a lot of big changes happened in the past year and i've been thinking recently about the future and how much friends and people i care for have changed and stuff like that. Seems like yesterday we were all joking about at primary school and now people are all working/ at Uni and going their seperate ways, all seems to be moving pretty fast. And all the random crap, like what it'd be like if i could go back to being a toddler but retaining all my knowledge. Or what i'd spend my money on if i went back in time and picked the winning EuroMillions numbers.

 Starting Uni this year, looking forward to it. Getting away from home and staying with randoms in a new city should be interesting.
  4. B.O.B really isn't up to much. Whenever i have a reasonable amount of money, it gets spent on whatever skill almost right away. Haven't trained combat in aaggeess so have had no reason to upgrade any armour. :
  5. Not seen you on in a while. Grats though, nice level and epic MTK. :P
  6. Been a while since i've posted a rate this, here's my current stats with a little bit about my account's history. Started playing Rs around easter 2006 and played on and off till the start of 2007, when i got my own laptop and members and started to play more often. Decided to get my first 99 stat, hunter, in the summer holidays of 2007. This probably remains the thing i'm most proud of acheiving as it really felt like a proper "journey" to 99. Started at level 34 and took around two months to reach 99. After hunter, i just trained normally for a while before getting 99 cooking, which trimmed my hunter cape. Followed really closely by 99 thieving, which wasn't really a goal i had set out for but just kinda gradually happened. Fast forward to the start of this year when i acheived 99 firemaking, which must have kinda burnt me out as i haven't played nearly as much as i used to, although i did still enjoy playing when i did manage to find the time to log on. Anyway, my stats at the moment look like this: I haven't properly trained combat in ages, and at the moment, have no intentions to. I enjoy skilling a lot more, as my stats probably show. Don't really have any goals set out at the moment, as i'm not playing nearly as much as i used to and with Uni starting in a few months, will have better stuff to occupy my time with. I'll probably find the time now and again to log in and will definatly still be on Tif, so i won't be completely gone. :P
  7. Well done, looks awesome seeing 85's across the board. Keep up the good work. :P
  8. Been driving for almost a year (Uk). I found the theory test pretty easy as most of the questions were similar to ones i had learned in the practice tests. The practicle driving exam wasn't hard exactly, as you sort of know what they'll ask you before hand.(You need to do two maneuvers; Parallel parking, reverse into a space, 3 point turn or reverse around a corner. Although they may ask you to do an emergency stop as well. The examiner picks 2 maneuvers for you to do during the test). The practicle exam is partly luck as well, depending on which examiner you get (some being more lenient than others) and how many idiots you meet on the road. Being the Uk, i learned in a manual (stick shift) car. It becomes second nature really quickly and doesn't really feel like hard work, pretty cool jamming the car into 3rd and feeling the acceleration. Been in a couple of scrapes as well. One with me behind the wheel which wasn't my fault and a couple of others in friends cars.
  9. Haha, i quite like shopping in Livingston. Anyway, if you're ever in Glasgow, you absolutely have to spend a Friday night in the city centre. Can't really think of any single place you must visit as there are loads of good bars/restaurants.
  10. It was the drumming that drew me to Tool in the first place. My drum teacher let me hear a few tracks a few years back and i've liked them ever since. As for Pink Floyd, my parents listened to them so i kind of grew up hearing them. Prefer Tool, however.
  11. Can't say i've really had much bother with my parents. Anything serious i'd done when i was younger i just got shouted at and told "No TV!" or something. Never been grounded. However the biggest telling off i've ever had was when i released the handbrake on my uncles car and it rolled backwards into his garage wall, structurally damaging it or something lame like that. Didn't understand what the big deal was at the time however i can see why he was pissed now.
  12. The nickname idea sounds a lot more plausible than an actual username change. I wouldn't change my username anyway. I've spent too much time logged in as it, just wouldn't feel right. The nickname/friend tracker thing sounds good so long as they think up a way to know exactly which friend is which once they've thought up a nickname.
  13. Nope, there is a minimum wage in the Uk for each working age group. Under 18's, 18-21 then 22+ all have different minimum wages. However it doesn't mean anyone aged 18 can only be paid the minimum, this just means that whoever you work for can't pay you less than that. I'm 18 and working and getting well above the minimum wage for my age group. And i spent a fair amount of that cash on alcohol and nights out. Drinking is a social activity and helps people relax, there's nothing better than sitting in a bar with a few friends and catching up over a few drinks. Not everyone goes out specifically just to get wasted. It is possible to enjoy alcohol without ending up drunk. And just because you think alcoholic drinks taste like crap doesn't mean everyone does. There are plenty drinks which taste like normal soft drinks but have an alcoholic content. If you have personal reasons for not drinking, then fair enough but in a debate like this, actual statistics and figures, along with the link to where you got them gives your argument a lot more weight.

Quite like the Juicy Fruit flavour but normally have a packet of Extra Ice when i'm at work. Usually lasts me the week.
  15. Falling here as well. I remember watching a documentary called "The Falling Man" (or something) about a picture someone took of someone who had just jumped out of one of the Twin Towers. I'll try and find the image but it's one of the worst ways to go i can imagine. Still being alive and possibly concious during the fall, knowing that the ground is the only thing thats gonna stop you. No thanks. EDIT: Here's the wikipedia page about the picture and the story. Several newspapers had readers complaining that the picture was disturbing. link.

Big weekend of live music here with "T in the park". Couldn't get a ticket however. Quite a few bands/artists i'd loved to have seen this year. Here's the lineup.

I liked it. Love how he can do all this and still keep a straight face without breaking character. Went straight to the pub after to try and erase the dancing penis from my memory.
  18. Played drums in a band with a few folks for a year and a bit. Stopped it last year as they started Uni and wasn't as easy to get everyone together for a practice. Thinking starting it again once everyone gets settled then we can work stuff out. Played mostly covers of songs we liked and gigs with local bands. It was good when it lasted. :P
  19. Very well done. Remember meeting you for the first time at the chinchompa hunting years back. Look at you now haha. :P 2376/2376
  20. It's my RL pic. 8-) Not been up to much, just done a few herb/farm runs. Gonna get into Rcing again.
  21. Well done to all. =D>
  22. Liked the dupe article. Never realised that was how it worked and just how out of hand the duping actually got. A good read.
  23. Not been doing much, been collecting some materials to sell on for some profit. Then it's back to Farm/Rc.
