I think it would be easier to keep all of your herbs "grimy" if you don't have high enough herblore. That way you can still save space and you know what herbs you have.

A new essence would be great. You're theory is pretty logical too. Although I don't think Jagex would introduce yet another type of essence into the game.

Construction. Love the skill but it's a little expensive. Slayer's not bad either.
