  1. Okay, thanks for letting me know. :
  2. Yeah, I never have been able to get that brown the right color.. that's why I usually stick to the lettering. But that red was visible from 0%, and the off-brown is less noticeable than bright red. :|
  3. Even though she's the more pathetic VP-candidate, I wouldn't mind if US elects her. There's a chance that McCain croaks sometime in his term so Palin has the possibility to [bleep] the US up like Bush. But at least she'd do it in style. Thank God I live in Canada  Yeah, just have fun laughing at our horribly screwed up government... :P I don't even want to think about the possibility of McCain dying in office. Religous fundamentalism is bad for my sanity..
  4. Okay, I think that this may be the current winner for 'most disgusting'... :-X
  5. :wall: Read. If you've got any suggestions, I would be happy to hear them. Preferably something I could download or buy for a fairly low price.. I don't have as much time as I would like to spend on things like this, due to real life responsibilities. :| (And I do realize that the video is really not very accurate or in depth, but even so, it is interesting to watch.)
  6. Whoops, forgot to factor in daily doses of pure, liquid awesome. And here is the popup for those who are already dead:
  7. I'm only going to post one, seeing as how posting even a decent percentage would both take hours and get me banned. I kid you not, this actually crossed my mind, and I seriously considered it: Okay, I was in an aquarium, watching the sharks. Some bratty kid starts wailing because his parents only bought him a medium-sized stuffed animal. Then a baby starts crying. And doesn't stop. For ten minutes. While the parent completely ignores it, leaving it in the stroller while talking on their cell phone. I look from the sharks to the baby, and then back to the sharks. Gears start turning. I pose a question or two to myself; "How many seconds would it take for those sharks to completely strip the flesh from a baby?" and "How many seconds would it take for people to notice what had happened after I threw in the baby, and would they notice who had thrown it in before or after the baby was completely devoured? If the baby-devouring time is less than the crowd-notice time, then would the remaining time until the crowd noticed that I had been the one to throw it in be sufficient time for me to make it to the exit? And would the majority of the crowd want to kill me or applaud me?" I thought that through for a minute or two, and came to the conclusion that the only way to find out was through experimentation. Fortunately, or unfortunately (Depending on what part of my brain you talk to.), by that time, the parent had finally gotten off the phone and was now busily cramming candy into the baby's mouth. O:)
  8. WOW!m indeed! the octopus just wtfpwned teh shark o.O I remember seeing that a couple times before... Octopi are freaking smart, not to mention scary.
  9. I fixed up most of the brown space to the bottom left of the P, but I fear I may have used the wrong color... :|
  10. I remember seeing that video about string theory and the ten (current) dimensions. Interesting stuff, and not too hard to understand. It makes pretty much sense, to be honest.. Until something better comes along.
  11. Someone really likes the color yellow... And here I am, all out of ink. :boohoo:
  12. Brilliant. Although a more appropriate title would be 'Duke Nukem Taking Forever'... Uhm. Probably rely on my trusty machete. Remember folks, blades can't jam.
  13. "Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird, it's a..." You get the point. :P
  14. Just remembered another one... Well, some people in one of my classes were obsessed with the wonders of XBL ( ), and one fine day they were cracking jokes at each other's expense. Well, at some point, one of them called another one a noob. He reacted badly, with some 'yo momma' joke. Which naturally meant that everyone else started calling him a noob. At this point, he told the teacher, who apparently thought they were calling him [developmentally delayed]ed or something, and then let them off with a warning when they told her what was going on... Well, the guy didn't show up for the next class, and the next day I found out that he had spent the entire period crying in the bathroom. Keep in mind, this was more than a year into HS. I'm not even going to make a judgement on which one of them fits the description of 'That kid' the most.. :|
  15. Well, to be honest, I like both. But I like cats more. Don't get me wrong, I've got a great golden retriever, I love him to death, but damn, he is stupid... :| Cats are generally more interesting, and they have more of a dominant personality. So I guess I'm a cat person. Even though I don't have any cats at the moment. Okay, I should stop typing.
  16. Great job guys! =D> Have some cookies! [hide=Cookies!][/hide] Hm.. I'm also wondering if one of those 4chan guys involved with the DB attack is connected with this... Apart from that, I'd suspect RHQ or someone who is, ah, slightly upset over being banned. Of course, that is all wild speculation. : Regardless, I'm glad that if someone did hire someone to do this, they wasted their monies.
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeSSwKffj9o George Carlin's work was sheer brilliance.
  18. Wrong war, that was WWI. (Side note: The Lusitania was deliberately sent into German-patrolled waters to provide a catalyst for American entry into WWI.)

I believe that I show far more respect to the ideals that America was founded on, and to the flag that represents those ideals, by burning it in protest, while exercising my right to free speech than anyone who would willingly curtail those rights to defend a piece of fabric that represents those same rights and ideals.
  20. reaper88888 replied to DaN's topic in Off-Topic
The real problem is when people view the flag as an embodiment of certain values and rights, then they tend to see flag burning as the rejection of their values. One of the most ironic parts of this is that in most cases, one of those rights that they care so much about is the right to free speech... So I can see why they think what they do, but I will never agree that flag burning should be banned. It is far more childish to go berserk because someone burned a flag than it is to burn it because you feel like it. And just because I felt like it: Free speech, and all that.
  21. Honestly, it's starting to look that way... Sounds like the OP takes himself a bit too seriously.
  22. My parents know zip about the intrawebz. : Besides, they trust me. :twss:
  23. Fixed the top half of the I. Looks like the logo is making a comeback! Time to go onto my other computer and draw some more...
  24. This problem with fat kids (Yes, I said 'fat', because that is what they are. I'm not talking about people with hereditary diseases/whatever, I'm talking about people with no self control.) could all be solved if gym classes continued to be a requirement in every year of education, rather than till the end of elementary. Of course, most of this problem wouldn't exist if parents had the sense to 'just say no', and people in their teens and 20s had the sense to eat with moderation... Geez, is it really that hard to not have that third slice of pizza or that energy drink? Or to take a long walk every day?
  25. Actually, this is about as believeable as the statement that we went into Iraq to 'liberate the Iraqi people'.
