Ive never seen anyone with a smithing cape yet. Wait...ive never seen construction capes either....But i wud respect a 99 smither more. Its a lot more work and dedication to get there in my opinion. \

Want slow, but steady exp? Go for minotaurs, lvl 27 in the stronghold of security. They have 22hp each, but are unaggresive and there are plenty of them. And in the largest chamber, theres a fence u can use to shoot behind. And as an added bonus, they drop iron arrows, usually more than u use. So u can virtually train forever there! Faster exp wud be white knights, not black because theyre aggresive. But their armor cud be a problem if ur range is too low. On the other hand, they have 50+hp, so ull get exp much faster. If u dont mind losing arrows, u cud try shooting hob goblins near the crafting guild across the small stretch of water. Its possibly the fastest exp, but remember u lose a lot of arrows... If u want drops, just range the miscellaneous dark wizards in the stone dolmen (or whatever it is) near varrok. They drop a ton of good runes, especially natures, and provide decent exp. U mite want to pick and uncrowded world though.

Stay away from merchanting single valuable objects like trimmed armors: it can be too risky, and doesnt give enough profit for the trouble. The others had some good ideas, my favorite being lobbies. If lobbies doesnt appeal to u, try buying iron+coal(1k iron=100k, 2k coal=360-400k), turn it into steel bars, and sell it as bars(up to 600k).

Well, u mite drop ur axe head quite a few times when cutting 29k yews. Just make sure u take some precautions in protecting ur d axe. But other than that, it wud be pretty useful when cutting that many logs. Just sell it after ur done, like other posters said. On a related note, i doubt u wud actually cut that many yews. So u mite not really need it after all. :-k

Have u tried the lvl 27 minotaurs at the stronghold of security? They drop iron arrows in abundant numbers, which is helpful for training.

Yes, the lvl 50 spiders-room i believe is the fastest/best location for training combat skills, bar none (for f2p anyway). Id advise u be combat lvl 65+, or just have around lvl 50 defence first; the spiders have a relatively high attack. When i was in the 70's, i cud last an hour or so with a full inv of lobs. Easily 30k worth of exp. Its mainly because of the auto-attack, where u dont have to bother clicking, the spiders attack u themselves and provide a constant stream of exp. If the spiders are too hard on the hitpoints for u, the fleshcrawlers also work.

A horse....Oh wait, runescape to life, not the other way. Uh, a rubber chicken. Why not? A ring of life duh. That, and a skill cape of theiving. Hehe.

Overall usefulness, the obby shield by far. Rune defender is a little less flexible, but also useful; albeit not as easy to get. Honestly, the dragon square has little use other than showing off with (expensive and hard to obtain), so dont bother with much fighting with it. Bersker ring > warrior ring, altho theyre both useful. But strength bonuses are harder to come by, so if u can afford it, get the berserker. Ur choice here determines ur first decision. If its rock crabs/experiments,/ undead, get a rune defender. PC would require a shield i believe. But i dunno which wud be most effective. I dont see any benefit a dragon long gives that a scimmy doesnt have. Go for the scimmy.

To be honest, i doubt your honesty here, especially around the drop-trades thing. But if ur gonna go all vigilante, try trading in a trading world (especially world 1), u shud have ur fill of reports. And while ur at it, go for spots where autos (bots) gather, like at yews, arrow/rune stores, and fishing spots. U alone or an army cant handle them, believe me. Other than roaches, rule-breakers just dont die.

The most profitable would be rune longs bought for 15k, alched for 19.2(i think). But ppl are catching on to that, and dont sell for 15 anymore. Rune meds work too. Neither is good for training, being so hard to obtain and all. Try steel plates (buy for 1kea or smith), alchs for 1.2k each. Another thing is green dragon hide, if u can get a member whos training his crafting lvl to sell u some cheap, forums mostly.

I dont see how one can mine while alching. Honestly, i wud just listen to music, since its hands free. And otherwise, i wudnt do all hundred and forty thousand (yes, emphasis on the thousand) alchs at once. I tried that with casting curses (im f2p), regretted it. Spread it out like, over the month and save urself from brain damage. :thumbsup:

Ah, i get it. Max inv of items for watever valuables ur holding. I've seen these people put up 28 lobs, and i try to trade a chisel. They dont accept for some strange reason :-w. But what is sad is that since it isnt technically a scam, ive seen quite a few high levels (as in 90+) do it. :shame:

So they get whatever i hold in my inventory? I should try it with empty vials or something.....Or ill just ignore them....

Yea, those gloves arent painted, theyre sold that way in some member stores, namely the one in canifis.

Well, i haven't played runescape in a while, but the other day in world 1, there were these folks going around saying "free [insert item here], just show me your inventory so i can get the amount right", or something to that effect. Seeing that these people tend to be low levels, I smelled something fishy. Is this a scam? If so, I don't get it; what is it all about?

If u think 300 bucks is a lot for a system, id assume u wud laugh at the ps3, at least because it costs twice as much. Btw, most ppl buy the $400 Premium, not the $300 core. The Core system is a watered-down rip off. Its missing the harddrive, alone which is 100 bucks, as well as about another 50 or so bucks worth of items. Of course, the $480 Elite is coming out soon. Anyway, id say the 360 seeing that i have one. The Wii may be innovative, but its using outdated tech and i doubt it wud last more than a year. And it has few excellent games, and compared to Xbox Live, the Wii's online service is trash (at least i assume it is from wat i hear, i never tried it personally). But really its better if u make ur own choice and not base it on those of other ppl from random online forums :thumbsup:

To be honest, if u didnt like the first two, i doubt the 3rd game would be any more appealing. But it wudnt hurt to try it out of course. As for the x-button deployment of the shield, im worrying. If anyone played Gears, and used the chainsaw in multiplayer, u wud know that u wud quickly be killed directly after the chainsaw. Altho u r invincible during the chainsaw animation, the enemy 'camps' near u and just proceeds to chainsaw u back after ur done chainsawing. Same reasoning here. If ur a sitting still, it doesnt matter if ur invincible for a few secs.A sniper wud just pick u off after the shield goes out. Or be rocket-launchered, energy-sworded, etc. I dunno if im just thinking too hard on it, but i never was a fan of a 'portable' shield that forces u to stand still. Uhhhh....Go halo3(and/or beta)!

hmmm, forgot about cole, meh cole may be good but is he a very annoyed spartan on a killin spree? Well Cole says funny things. Like in multiplayer if u hurl a grenade he goes "Hey buddy catch this!". And if he gets downed he says "No! Mama told me not to die!" And who would this annoyed spartan be? The master chief is very calm, he takes taichi and yoga ya know. EDIT: oh wait, a REAL spartan? Like from Spartan: Total Warrior? Or, from 300 or something?

Hang Em' High was one of the awesomest maps of Halo1. Its great (altho unoriginal) that theyre releasing a new version of it for H2. Dunno if id buy it tho. I mean, Halo 3 is rite around the corner. Anyone know how many months it takes tills the maps becomes free?
