The process for getting the crossbow set is byzantine and awful. To clarify for everyone: 1. Obtain keys 2. Kill the (95 slay) bosses for a not-100%-probably-pretty-rare drop 3. Get all six untradable fragments. 4. Get an 100m+ dragon crossbow. 5. Do an (assistable?) 90 fletch requirement. 6. Repeat for offhand. Plus, you can hardly use occb because chaotics won't use the t90 bolts. It would make more sense for these to be a boe upgrade to chaotics with tradable parts tbh.

Stev, did you only get 6 limbs to 24 claws? Because this is terrible for rangers.. Especially since you need two sets of limbs for the dw....

I don't believe the information in this thread was accurate. I have been slaying using blood barrage, and for around 15 tasks my slayer helm did not have have a hexcrest or focus sight on it (wtf right?). My max critical was in the 1550 range. Once I put on a hexcrest, it increased to around 1750. If overload or torment dropped, it would fall back down into the 1500s or so. It appears that hexcrest boosts magic roughly the same as overload, and overload grants 17 levels at 99, which would imply the 16% damage boost is still in place.

Sorry to hijack, but I'm considering buying wand and book too. Does anyone know if they are actually broken (ie likely to be nerfed), or just performing normally?

If they buff shields they should increase both corps strength and the drop rate. Put them on par with nex items in terms of obtainablitiy, but make corp significantly more difficult.

There are definitely some tasks worth drygoring (all metal drags?), and it might be worth drygoring or even ranging waterfiends (Chaos Tunnel waterfiends are no longer aggro and are fairly hard to stack). I also drygored my last black drags task. But barrage is very good for anything aggro in addition to easily stackable monsters.

You can actually just use a wand, book, and blood barrage every task using momentum. Even a wand of treachery and grifolic orb will only set you back about 5.3m, but the real cost is in the 50-100k blood barrages you'll need for 99 slayer.

Do you always get above 10k in double stat missions? And for a triple stat mission you would want bowl traits right?

Staking in EOC is also very pid-focused now. And people don't range box for whatever reason. As always, be careful not to get taken advantage of.

There are a few places where tribrid is viable (dag kings, fight klin) that I like to use fury for. Although without a yak or frem boots the demon horn necklace is nice at dks too.

I have done a number of floors on w77 in the past few weeks, with a lower bound at around 15 mins and an upper bound at around 25 mins. It's decent and easy to find teams for occs at offpeak times. C1s, Ab2s, and warps are tougher (96 dg at time of writing)

Jagex should make a set of (skilling-obtained) defensive gear with percentagewise damage reduction and make a boss which is largely untenable without that gear.
