  1. Also invisible boosts won't let you do things above your level. For example an Axemans Folly will visibley increase your woodcutting and let you chop trees 1 level sooner. However a Beaver gives an invisible boost and won't let you chop trees earlier. It will however let you cut trees you can cut at the increased rate.
  2. You're obviously an old member as you like GWD. If you are going to be member again then save RC until then as it is much easier and profitable.
  3. 70 Mining is a pain in the bottom as it is very boring and you need do give 100% attention. Best way without dropping is to mine iron in Port Kzhard/Yanille with a BoB Familiar. Same rocks and then it's your choice whether you want to bank or just deposit in the box. Woodcutting is easy. Buy/loan a dragon axe and use the willows at Barbarian Outpost. Beaver helps speed it up. You can bank at Barbarian Outpost. Money isn't great, but you don't need to give it 100% attention. Thieving just use Pyramid Plunder. Plenty of guides in the AOW. Agility use Wildy Course to 70, then Ape Atoll.
  4. Yeah it's a nice update. I will stick to my Barrows gloves though. What some people seem to fail to understand is not everyone is the same level and enjoys the same things. Jagex cannot just cater for one group of people. If it was all high level items the lower levels would moan and vice-versa. High levels have had Corp Beast and the new shields this month so why not a new item for mid-level players. EDIT - By new I obviously new stats, not a new item :D
  5. I should be there, however in the image thing it says no Zombieing yet in the post below we are told not to worry about defense as we can respawn. Which is it!
  6. Ever heard the phrase "there is no knowledge that is not power"? Kinda the same rule applies to quests in my logic. One day you may need this quest as a prequiste for another quest. Look at Rocking Out, how many people moaned that the requirements were too high? The fact of the matter is they'd had plenty of time to gather the required levels but instead chose to train other skills, merchant, or do other stuff. The fact the XP rewards are not useful and it doesn't unlock any other items shouldn't stop you from doing it. It's obviously pretty short, so whats the harm in putting aside 30-60 mins now, rather than when you need it.
  7. Meh can't access various things behind this firewall. Is the newer regen bracelet better than Barrows Gloves? Ta
  8. Summoning isn't free with slayer. You still need to pay for the shards. Granted you get 70% back but you'll still be forking something out.
  9. Yeah just keep members going, still be cheaper price then so you save in the long run \ I have Fun Orb members too just for Arcanists and haven't been on there in a few months, since I got owned by some Nature/Elve user.
  10. I don't understand the question.
  11. ZMI is quicker if you have the Lunar spell. However abyss will get you more profit.
  12. Guthan's is a must and get Karils for the few tasks which require mage defense. Prostelyte for prayer gear. Dragon Boots Slayer Helm/Black Mask Whip or Dragon Scimmy/Rune Defender OR Sara Sword OR Godsword. Cannon That's all you really need. Bandos is overrated for slayer as most tasks don't hit hard and are easily managed by Guthans. Use Guthans plate and skirt as standard melee gear and swap in the helm/spear when you need healing. Those tasks that do hit hard (Black Demons, Spiritual Mages etc.) pray on with prayer gear. Cannon tasks if you are rich. Cannon's can also be used to "empty" a spot at Black Demons, Hellhounds etc. Then pick up and melee. Sneaky but effective.
  13. 3a will always be rarer as no-one mass treasure trails unless there new stuff. If there is new stuff the chance of getting a 3a will decrease as there's more items to choose from so 3a will rise. Whereas the sigils are being massed farmed atm and are going to drop and drop and drop. I'd go with the 3a.
  14. Make highest XP pouches you can feasible afford the second for. As a rule stick to golds, green and crimsons and keep blues as long as you can but if you train via slayer you'll get a nice mixed bag. I spent approx 8mil from 75-80 but I got over 200k shards back so it's a fair bit cheaper. Also buy pouches you want to use don't make them. For example buying a Bunyip makes more sense than making it when you can make Fruit Bats.
  15. Then your mis-informed. Irons are easy on slayer task, plenty to go round. Steels I agree on, but only because there are so few spawns and you have to deal with irons as well. Hellhounds are great source of XP and gold charms. Bring a cannon to scare off other players then melee. Greaters are so easy you shouldn't ever consider skipping them. Dogs are annoying yes, but only for 1 dose of super pots. After that if you stick to the top 3 they go non-aggro. They don't drop much, but give good XP.
  16. Skelly Wyverns Warped Terrorbirds Steel Dragons I have a slot free in case they release something really bad.
  17. In the old days merchanting wasn't bad, infact many classed it as a skill. I agree with this, the merchanter had to be aware of price changes, and log stuff themselves. They then had to buy vast quantities, and then sell vast quantities at the right time. It was a lot of effort for no XP gain. Nowadays when all a merchanter has to do is use the GE and the GE database there is no skill at all. Also the ease of use makes it so easy for players to manipulate prices and the other players realize this and hate merchanters as there gains are immoral. Personally I think Jagex should limit players on how much they can buy. Who in there right minds need 1 million sara brews? A limit of 1000 per day would limit the "crime" part. Alternatively Jagex could limit the sell back, Yeah you brought 30k yews, but you can't sell any yews until a week later. Obviously you could sell back as bows, crossbow stocks etc. Currently merchanters are operating out of the spirit of the game.
  18. Very good article. Nothing new, but hopefully making the economy far more clear to more people. I class myself as a skiller. Above all else my goal is to get high stats. However I am happy to slay for my cash so I kinda fall into warrior, although I am not a PK'r.

Thanks for the advice. I will probably make fire titans if they are best for combat. Like I said money isn't really a biggie, I usually trade all my pouches for shards. I always bring Guthans with me when I slay just in case so I could try them out, if I don't like them then I can sell/trade and stick to Bunyips. Thanks again

OK I have the charms for 80. Issue is from 79-80 I need to make Titans and am wondering which is the best one to make. I aim to use these as healers/fighters as they are supposedly better than Bunyips. Is this the case? Obviously I would only use them in multi and still use Bunyips for single way as green is cheaper than blue. Cost isn't really a big issue (only 164 to make) and they all give same XP so either of the 3 will suffice, I just want the best combat one. Also can anyone please explain what Titans Constitution actually does? I know it uses the special bar and raises HP and defense but how much? The defense boost I don't really care about, I slay without defense pots 99% of the time. Thanks!
  21. Same as the other 3.
  22. My opinion is do as much as you can as Jagex will update. A new lunar spell could be released in October which is so awesome you must have it, but then you'd have to do 2 quests first. Same with the Warped one, quest is pants for sure but it's building to a huge story with the gnomes, and the last big gnome quest gave us the dragon scimmy...
