  1. Failed snipers are so fun to own. Unfortunatly I'm one of those failed snipers :x
  2. Bump. Wifi is annoying the hell out of me now. I just got 7800 BR (which, believe me, is very hard to get unless you know the game inside and out) and lost connection the next game, losing 279 BR. This is the 3rd time I lost connection when I was so close to the godly 8000 BR and I'm really getting ticked now. Anyway, a couple things I've noticed and I need answers to them. 1) I was in a 2 on 2 balloon battle, and one of the guys on the other team was either a hacker or ahd really good item tapping, or has insane luck. He had giant mushrooms nonstop. Literally, he was constantly giant. Every time he shrunk down to normal size he'd go giant instantly again. He was incredibly hard to kill because I only had star power once in the game (star>giant). How does the guy do this? Did he find a glitch somehow, or was he really good at tapping the item button precisely to get the giant every time, or was he insanely lucky? 2) Another thing, I noticed that frequently when I hit someone with a bomb, or run them over with a giant mushroom, or blast through them with star power, they get hit but don't lose a balloon or their coins, depending on the game. Why is that? So many times I needed a crucial extra balloon hit, or a few extra coins to win the game, and I don't get them after I destroy someone with an item. Why is that?
  3. Hmmph. "Intervene". As someone said well in the other thread, Russia probably had other things on their minds when they joined the fray. Chances are they were benefitting somehow.
  4. Why do so many people think speed stacking is dumb? I have utmost respect for any young person (and most of these stackers are under 15) who can stack ad unstack cups in a few seconds. It takes a lot of coordination.
  5. I was never a big fan of soccer (or most TV sports for that matter, besides the Olympics. They bore me) but soccer is rather fun to watch even for me. Even if the US isn't playing, I don't care who's winning, I cheer for both teams. Whether its Olympic or Euro soccer, it's great fun to watch. Maybe personal opinions differ, but I have no problem with whatever tactics they use. Maybe they're tired from all the running and use a slower play to cool off?
  6. ^+1. Imagining a kid sniffing poptarts covered in alcohol made my day :
  7. ^How cliched. :| I have another thing that annoys me. When you ask a person what something is, and they respond with "You don't know what it is?" and don't give you an answer. In a related subject, I also hate people who make it obvious to everyone that they have a secret, then don't tell anyone what it is. You know, the kind of people who'd shout across the school hallway to their friend "Don't tell anyone the secret!" and make it so obvious because they want the pride to say "I know something you don't know!"
  8. How 'bout we drop the whole disease thing? Its really not that amusing. Besides, a simple Google search can show that the US is not the top in herpes rates either.
  9. Most of my family, except my mom, looks at me strangly when we all are on our way to McDonald's and I say I'd rather have subway. Just looking at the stuff makes me sick. My dad has 2 Fish Fillet's when he goes there, and the fact that he can stomach all that fat and grease sounds odd to me, and I'm concerned about his health, he's diabetic. And while Diabetes might not be affected by fat (it's blood sugar right?) it certainly doesn't do anything healthy for him. I've been trying to get my family to move toward subway, but they don't seem to get the message.

I just read on the news how the little girl singing that chinese song was actually lip singing it to the voice of another little girl. The actual singer was "not pretty enough" for the officials, so they had her sing while the prettier girl lip sang it. The Chinese tried to perfect their ceremony, even if it meant denying a less-than perfectly pretty girl the chance to stand before her nation while instead giving another girl the credit, and later having the girl in the performance exposed as a fraud. :shame: The story
  11. ^cancer? how does living in the US affect your cancer rate? If this was a joke, I hardly found it funny. :shame: and for the record, Australia took the title of fattest nation recently.
  12. ^Where have I heard that before... it sounds so familiar and I can't place my finger on it...
  13. The last time I posted something on another forum about my hatred for another console was when I was 10 and was angry at my friend for saying his PS2 owned my gamecube. And I love how Mlbfan stated about how he sold his Wii because he's not a 5-year-old. He also says how online for the Wii is horrible. Then he goes ahead and says he's not bashing the Wii. Sure, the Wii has its flaws. I have to admit that While SSBB is one of the best games I've played, it's online is horrible. You can't make friends because you don't know who they are, you can't communicate, and there's no prize for beating other players. That doesn't mean the Wii's online is bad altogether. I enjoy Mario Kart Wii's online. You can see who the players are, you gain ranking and thus respect from other players when you win many games. The only thing I find annoying is you can't communicate, but looking at how so many people are ranting about noobs on X box live abusing their microphone priveliges, it may be a good thing.
  14. didn't i use explosion against you in that pokemon tourney? your ditto transformed into magenzone and i hit the 'panic' button. 1-hit ko and win  Thanks for reminding me :x thats why explosion is such a fun move. for easily angered people like me, explosion is one of those times where the victim must go to a quiet, soft room and proceed to bashing their Nintendo DS to oblivion.
  15. Totally agreed. We try to be a civilized nation, that is, until someone decides to a very immoral deed. In which case, it becomes a situation where the only way to respond is to be unethical in return to satisfy our deepest cravings for vengeance. This thread seems to be another capital punishment thread. Whatever. I like threads like these where morals of society are put to the test. Frankly, I think the best way to solve this issue is to find a good, clean way to kill this bastard and end it. Forget suffering, just get him off the face of the earth with reasonable measures.
  16. I believe in the afterlife. Although I don't believe in reincarnation, I'd think it'd be pretty cool if it happened.
  17. I would've kicked him out right after he tried to open up the porn. Even if its the truth, most parents won't believe it when they check the internet search history, confront you about the recent searches, and you say "my friend came over and he did it". You did the right thing. I know people who live in misery because they don't have the guts to tell a mooching friend when they've crossed the line.

Heh, I had the same laugh experience as Lenin. I love Wipeout. When my mom chops onions. For whatever reason, she doesn't cry from it. But I do when I'm two rooms down. I am a rather emotional person. I sometimes cry in sad movies, I cry when my parents buy me lavish gifts I never asked for (not in front of them of course), I cried when my friend's mom died, I cry when I fail a test or suffered a huge loss in runescape (I've been scammed painfully before and lost loads of money in deaths years back when I was addicted to the gameWhen I was 10 I cried for a while when some guy on RSOF made fun of me for something I posted in the rants forum. Of course nowadays I realize RSOF is the ghetto of MMO's so I recovered, and now here I am today; The teenager who is still made fun of on tif but doesn't give a damn. :
  19. The sequel to the first Kingdom Hearts game, which was for the Gameboy advance (If I'm not mistaken, it was supposed to be a mini-story thing that helped flwo the story into the next big Kingdom Hearts game). This gameboy game was stupid, pointless, and disturbingly similar to yugioh. Its the only KH game I have, but one of my friends who loves the series tried it and practically vomited. If you're going to make a gaming sequel, don't bring it to the handheld :wall:
  20. Sharing culture's a good thing. While I believe cultures should also be kept separate at a most basic level, there's nothing wrong with a bit of mixing it up. NO. I hate when foreigners come and try to meix in their values. We are America dammit, we are our own culture. I refuse to let anyone mess up the USA with the communist beliefs. *No offense meant to any communists or foreigners* Of course, because we Americans strictly follow the traditions and celebrations of the Native Americans, right? [/sarcasm] Our culture is DEFINED by foreign influences. Besides, I doubt a cute little dinosaur thing called Yoshi will lead our nation to becoming communist.
  21. Harry Potter's Quidditch should be an olympic sport. Paintball would be a cool sport for the olympics too. I'd love to see Japanese kamikaze paintball fighters  .
  22. I came from a private grade school. The biggest fight we ever had was one kid calling another boy some name I've never heard of, and apparently it ticked him off because he slapped him up the head. The kid cried. End of fight. This was 8th grade by the way.
  23. I usually have a steak and cheese on Italian herbs bread. my toppings are lettuce, pickle, cucumber, and mustard. might sound like a strange combo but I enjoy it. so who here has the most obscure subway selection?
  24. Mario party, mario kart, and the Mario RPG's (with Sunshine and Galaxy and 64) are all great fun and I have been playing them since the N64 (I never tried Mario Kart for NES or SNES though :( )
  25. Gah, none of my games are worth anything on the rare list. My friend has Super mario 64 and a couple other games on the N64 list, I should tell her to sell em for a little cash. One particular game I own is XG2. its a motorcycle racing game that takes place in the future. Its a rather fun game with sweet looking bikes and hot female drivers in some bikes. I'm hoping some day it'll be worth something. I also own Diddy Kong racing which might have soon fetched a good price if it weren't for the recent DS revival of the game. My local video game rental store has so many of these games on his shelves (he's an old man who runs a store by my house that rents movies and videogames). I should ask if I can buy some of em. :
