Gambling.
I'm old enough, but I don't. I've never been lucky and I don't have enough money to waste any. I play some poker here and there, but never for much. Usually it's food or sometimes we all throw in a couple bucks and the winner gets it. My grandfather used to buy us scratch tickets for us to scratch and would give us whatever we won, so I won like $20 or something at the most, but that wasn't really gambling. I don't see the interest in gambling to be honest, so I don't plan on starting.

Today...
I'm your friend :) Going sledding tonight. I was going to go see my girlfriend sing, but she sort of implied that she doesn't want me to be there. I think it's just because I'd have to pay and she feels bad since I rarely let her pay for anything and the only reason I'm going is to see her. That or she's embarrassed to sing in front of me for some reason. I'm not going to worry about it though. We're hanging out anyways so it's fine.

Today...
Didn't watch the super bowl. I don't have school again tomorrow. 11 days without school. Holy balls. Spent the day with the girlfriend. It was... interesting. We worked out an issue of hers that she was really upset about and later we got stuck in an icy parking lot. We got out eventually, but it was after I called my dad and had to explain it to him. Other than that we went to lunch with a friend, went to the mall, went to the movies only to find out there was nothing playing withing like an hour, then went bowling. And I am literally broke now.

Real life pictures - 4
Yep. It's a creative writing class, that's the kind of person it attracts. But most of them are pretty cool.

It's actually coffee. But that would make the picture even more hilarious.

The effects of piracy on artists
There is a pretty big difference with potential vs actual loss, but it is essentially a very similar crime. I'm sure someone else will argue it. I just like getting my [cabbage] for free, tbh. If I could buy music at like 10% of it's current price then sure, I'd pay for it. Honestly though, until someone does something about it, I don't see a reason not to download it. It's not like I'd buy it if downloading wasn't available. Before I knew how to download I just used YouTube.

Edit: I'm also rocking a temporary tattoo right now at +25. Edit2: 20:40 The Blind Weresquirrel yelled 'My nuts!' and vaporized. Found a handful of nuts.

My attempt at pixel art
I never really got good at pixel art, but I think I can give you some advice anyways. I would suggest simple stuff first: spheres, boxes, cones, etc to get the shading down. Next look at color. You're doing what a lot of people tend to do early on which is very rich, saturated colors. That's perfectly fine as a stylistic choice, but in terms of realism you want to tone down the saturation. Another thing I'd suggest you look at is interaction between separate parts of an image (ie sky and grass). Just look at some pictures and experiment. Last thing I think I'll mention is simplicity. While I think the grass and the sky in your picture look cool, they're both kind of distracting. I would suggest getting basic stuff first and then going in and working on the detail. Overall, keep trying. You'll get better, I guarantee it. Look at tutorials, other people's work, and images. You should keep us updated. If you want any more specific help just post here and someone will help I'm sure. This almost makes me want to give pixeling another shot, but I remember the hours and hours of work that I would eventually scrap.
