 Doubt I'll be getting one.
  3. I don't know if it's my own personal recipe (others may do it, but I haven't met anyone who has). I make waffles with peanut butter and syrup on them.
  4. If I had to pick one best favorite, it would have to be To Kill A Mockingbird. Reading it has really changed how I look at things.
  5. If you aren't able to clear your mind, I've heard that repeating a chime or other sound in your head helps out. I have family members that meditate, I don't though.
  6. whoa I forgot about that. Very good book there. +1 I loved that book!
  7. You need to be 14 to get a job in the US, it's just that most places don't hire people under 16 because they don't have a vehicle.
  8. That's what I thought.
  9. You could of told us that earlier.
  10. I would obviously move south to buy me some time. I would then probably begin to construct an underground bunker, stocking supplies, and gathering people to live there with me. When the storm come I would head down there for a year or so (you didn't specify if this storm would destroy the planet, or just end after a year or so) and wait for it to blow over. Then with the people in my bunker, repopulate the earth!
  11. Such Great Heights By: The Postal Service This song is FL Studio at it's best.
  12. I want to be in real estate. Probably a land developer. Perhaps I may get a license to become a commercial or residential seller... I'm not really sure yet.
  13. In America we have flashlights. In England they have torches.
  14. So, in your opinion, El Nino and La Nina are static weather phenomenon that are not affected in frequency or amplitude by global warming? It may be amplified, but there is no data backing up what you just said. If you look at some "Deep Time" charts, you see that the Earth has gone through many warm eras, and some cold ones. It is only a few degrees warmer throughout the world on average. I am not saying that global warming isn't be a factor, I am saying that there could be many factors contributing to what is going on throughout the world.
  15. ~I bite my nails. ~Crack my knuckles. ~Bounce my legs. ~Procrastinate. ~Sit on one leg or slouch way down when I sit in a chair. I have some nasty habits. I want to get rid of them, but I find it nearly impossible to do. Actually, I've done all of those things I listed within the last 10 minutes. :ohnoes:
  16. This one is hitting the Midwest very hard. We have had them in the past, but they never greatly effected the Midwest. Don't get me wrong, global warming is a serious problem that effects many people, but you need to remember weather changes. In my opinion, it just isn't the cause of the higher temperatures in the Midwest. PS: I ski, so I know how you feel. That kinda makes sense. But an El Nino is an ocean thing. And we don't live very close to an ocean. And the rest of the United States I believe have had good temperatures. Like take Colorado, they still have been getting heaps of snow. I was curious about that too, remember that not all of Colorado is covered in snow. The mountains can really change some of the weather coming in. El Nino also sometimes only effects certain parts of countries. Here is a little outlook on what January's weather will hold with El Nino: Yellow-orange is light warmer temperatures, orange is medium warmer temperatures, and red-orange are heavily warmer temperatures.
  17. I also live in the Midwest, and it bugs me too. Global warming in my opinion isn't to blame though. People think that because we have warm temperatures (35-45 degrees) it's global warming. Really, those temperatures aren't that warm. The underline cause: El Nino.
  18. You two need to calm down...
  19. Even though your dog doesn't like normal dog food. There are alternate food that could help your dog. Iams and Purina offer great canned dog foods that are great for mature dogs. A recommendation: http://us.iams.com/iams/en_US/jsp/IAMS_ ... D=103925#2 I think it would be best to use a canned dog food, there are many different varieties of flavors (eg. chicken, beef with gravy sauces) If I was you, I would do some research on the symptoms of your dog and, research special foods that may aid in his recovery. Even though it goes without saying, you can't do anything better than going to a professional vet ASAP!
  20. Gears of War, from what I've heard is a good game. I don't own the game but have played it on-line with friends. It is kind of the first game that is a true Xbox 360 FPS online game. It's the game that I think revealed the Xbox 360's online capability. If you ask me though... It doesn't match up to Halo 2 for the on-line experience. :D Nothing can take me away my beloved Halo 2
  21. I think this one is similiar to the one on the Tip.It website, but it may give you more detail. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=559006
  22. I live in the USA, Michigan to be exact. I normally like it here, except the weather is horrible. I really don't enjoy high 30s in January with rain instead of snow, it's kind of depressing. I need snow! :XD:
  23. Nice article, very true. Also, it may give a little more insight on who the mysterious editor could be!
  24. I just want to be able to live long enough to see the end of "LOST".
