lol, I agree. I hang around /g/ a lot, but that's because I need to release the nerd within :ugeek: I can't stand /mu/ though, just don't like the people tere, adn too much flaming last time I went. Never actually been to /jp/ mostly because it didn't sound interesting to me, but I'll check it out. /ac/ and /hr/ usually have really good images, /ac/ having them further between (some [ie a lot] is crudely drawn or 18+, but it's still worth a look). I've gotten a few of my backgrounds from /hr/ I'll admit I do go through /b/ and occasionally /h/, /y/, /e/, /u/ and /d/. There's some good quality work in some of there, and some images are downright funny. Plus, /s/ gets boring after awhile. It's either a request or a repost, and both are annoying. 4chan is really quite interesting because there's something for everyone and every mood that you're in. People just trolling through /b/ and the 18+ boards are really missing out on many things. Infinte, you deserve it for letting a 7 year old look at 4chan, and probably going to /d/ or /b/.
  2. Don't. Or, at least not the US military. A few people I know were told they were going to be able to leave and they got called back for another tour of duty. The whole system seems too corrupt. If you want some other advice, try training out in the heat by running 2-3 miles. From what I gather, you do a lot of running in training and it's not exactly in cold weather (at least not until winter, then you may get snow, depending on where you do training at. My brother did his in camp lejeune and got a bit of all types of weather [he's in the Marines]). Just get used to running and attempt to eat a lot of mud, because that's what an MRE tastes like >.<

  4. After its done processing, everything should be fine. If not, try to watch the video (and try logging off and re-finding it too, just to be sure) and see if it does run the full length and everything is included. If not, there may be another problem that will have to be addressed...in which case you'll have to wait for someone else, I'm not that experience with WMM lol, I've just helped a few people upload videos before so I know the routine.
  5. But I still don't consider myself spoiled. That's all I was getting at. And it still seems to me that you think of me as a happy-go-lucky teenager who gets to ask for money all the time and gets it. That's not the case. Not true. If you were, it would have been easier to tell, and you probably would have said so. I don't know how to explain it, and at the risk of making more of an [wagon] of myself, I wont try. deloriagod: I could throw off my shirt, but I'm relatively sure it's indecent exposure. And it's never 75 degrees here. In the summer its 102, in the winter its 33 or 85, depending on the cold front...lol. And we aren't far from the whole bankruptcy situation either, but it's not too far off if things keep going the way they are. Sucks, doesn't it?
  6. File>Save Movie File Select my computer, hit next. Second screen, give it a title (optional), save to desktop (just easier, you can save it to the default location). Hit next 2 more times (til you can't do it anymore, which is when it starts saving). Then go to YT, upload, fill out all the nice little forms, go to browse, and select the movie on the desktop or wherever you saved it, and you should should have the video uploaded. If not, leave another reply on to where in this process something is going wrong.
  7. Absolutely must +1 to everything in that post except the adult part, legally I'm not. It's funny how some people can't read/hear that and comprehend it. I used to say something along those lines every time someone asked me if I had a myspace and most of the time they would just be like "get one anyways." I did make one 2-3 years ago, just to see what all the hype was about, but I quickly got bored of it and found it pathetic, and thus my current view on them came to be. I do use instant messengers though, mostly because it's more private, easier, and if you're sending something to someone, they must be online, else you wouldn't be able to talk to them. Plus, quite a few of my friends have AIM on their phones, so instead of wasting minutes, I just message them from my computer (or any computer, with the online messenger things), that is until I get texting.
  8. Why would I refuse a chore? Because my dad can wash his own damn truck, and I absolutely loathe mowing the lawn. For one, it's 100 degrees outside with 90% humidity. Not fun. There are ants all over, the lawnmower can only move at a very slow pace or it stops working, one has blown up before...I don't trust it. Some chores are, unbelievably, not "women's work" -.- I'll do things like clean my room, because I like to have things organized and easily accessible, and I will feed my dogs every night because I love them, but there are some chores I will not do unless I have no other option. I'm glad you can ask for money to go out with friends, it's just that some of us don't have that luxury.
  9. jackattack, it's true, you do not eat inside of Sonic. The building that's closed off is really small, just enough to hold the kitchen things and condiments/boxes, etc.. There's just enough room for 2-3 people in there along with all that stuff, and one is the chef. Most Sonics do have benches though, and ordering is the same. You just press the button next to the table and order...it's a stationary drive-through...if that makes sense. And white castle is pretty good. The sandwhiches are so small, I can (and have) eaten an entire one in a bite, but I only tried because I was dared to. They're good though, and the one we were at had some friendly people and the place was pretty clean. I've only been there twice though, so I can't exactly give them a full review. Comment Removed ~Ragen~ If I wasn't sure it would get me banned, that would be in my siggy right now in place of the other 2 quotes lol. Hardees kicks some major [wagon]. I only got to eat there when we went on trips and passed one, or when we went camping, one of the major campgrounds had a Hardees on the way. I miss their food lol, it was soo good.
  10. Someone preparing to do a lot of exercise, or who just finished. I'm sure in...Australia?...it gets rather hot (maybe 85-90+), and then theres the humidity making it seem hotter..And I'm sure you've exercised at least once outdoors, so you should know that 5 drinks may not be an unreasonable amount, depending on the conditions.
  11. Eh, if its hot outside like it is here and you're riding your bike, you read free refills and hear angels singing in the background. I remember getting a large and just standing at the dispenser getting like 3 refills on powerade because I was that dehydrated (going 10 miles [round trip] in 100 degree heat, and only stopping to rest for 20 minutes may not have been the best idea either). Then, of course, I got one for the next 2 mile trip to a friend's house.... So it kindof depends on your situation...If you're actually doing exercise and working it off I think it should be fine to take a bunch, but if it's winter and the most exercise you do is getting from the couch to the fridge, 4 larges may be a bit too much. Then again, I'm usually running or biking or at least swimming (if I can), so it's no big deal if I drink a bunch of liquids... And nobody would drink soda and workout, at least nobody smart. Soda just seems to dehydrate me, it can taste nasty (especially anything orange/citrus flavored), and its hard to drink carbonated things with the speed you can of water/iced tea...then again, the lemon in pink lemonade will dehydrate you too...hmmm *goes off to think* I'll agree with Lion about the obesity thing. There are so many fat people around here. We take food for granted =[ [hide=A picture to illustrate the point][/hide]
  12. your opinion is invalid? (had to say it). It's not smart to go on "Are you smarter than a fifth grader" with a 4th grade education because....
  13. Who would have ever guessed it was me? Ugo

  17. Then the sign read "Free Refills" it would read "You may fill your cup up twice, then you must buy another".... And what if you are an athiest...You can't sin if you don't believe in a god, and therefore sins, can you? I believe that if there is a cap on how much you can have, it must be explicitly stated in large print, and not be held in the minds of workers/managers. I can not read minds, but I can read signs in english, and thats how they should express their limits, big, bold text written in the english language (at least here in America, where english is the suppossed main language).
  18. Nadril: You want to talk about getting game systems at the end of their life? The only systems I had was a Sega Genesis (still have it), a Nintendo64 (best game system ever), and a PlayStation One...And the PS1 broke like 5 years ago lol, haven't had a new game system since...I didn't get them at the end of their life, I got them at discontinuation I've never actually gotten an allowance or been paid to do housework. I either did the chores or I was banned from internet/tv/friends...I've had my whole pc removed from my room because I refused to mow the lawn. And your parents give you an allowance and pay for you to go out with your friends, but you don't consider yourself at least a bit spoiled? If I want to go to the movies, I open limewire, because it's like $10 to just buy the damn ticket, let alone food and other stuff, and none of my friends work there anymore either...
  19. nah, take a 10 gallon igloo jug, buy a small drink from the place, fill it up AND the jug  . if it is out of sprite, then fill with sierra mist pepsi/coke.     That turned me from :| to I must try this one day lol. And I would either get the largest size and fill it from there, or cut a hole in the cup and let it stream from the cup to the jug.
  20. Alright, I'll make an attempt at this, but can we use anything from like a fantasy genre book as a basis? Like, say I read a book and it had a made up creature in it (take the thestrals or hippogrifs from Harry Potter) and use that as a basis for something in the pixel (like, make my interpretation of that creature or object), or something completely made up on our own?
  21. I will refill my drink as many times as I damn well please. They shouldn't advertise free refills if they only want you to get 1 refill. Then they should take away the s in refills. Same thing that goes for all you can eat buffets kicking out people for getting 10+ plates. Yeah, that's a [cabbage]load of food, but they said all you can eat, and the people ate what they could. I'm relatively sure one of the waiters spit in my drink after I got a fourth refill at a buffet once too. I never really got why they gave you dirty looks for it...Maybe next time I go to McDonalds I'll buy a drink and just sit there for an hour or two and keep grabbing refills until the cup breaks, and see what they say. I think its also illegal for them to kick you out for taking refills or getting a lot of food at a buffet, so if they do say something, sue their [wagon].
  22. Isn't the amount of things you have, but don't need proportional to how grateful you are for what you have? And your situation is almost exactly like mine lol, age, and almost all of the things too (I didn't buy photoshop though, and the tv was a hand-me-down).
