  1. Aww, I thought you were a great poster, issy. Hope you come back soon.
  2. As far as I know Runescape doesn't work well with proxy servers...
  3. Obviously you don't know much about kids. You may be an exception, but kids are renowned for "monkey see, monkey do." If they see it, then generally they'll do it, so its going to increase violence and abusive language letting kids be influenced by bad language and violence at a young age. They say (scientific researchers) the most influential part of a persons life is between something like 4-13 years (roughly) so being exposed to such things at that age isn't going to do the person any favors later on in life. That's why good parenting is so important. Not if the parents are smart enough to tell them not to say that stuff / ect. early on, trust me; say you said 'what the hell' when you are young and your parents tell you not to, it leaves a mark. I know many people with similar stories to gonpost's and they're perfectly fine. Then why in anyones right mind would you allow your kids to see stuff like that, if you're just going to tell them not to do it. And just because a parent tells them not to do it, most of the times, especially if they've seen it (i.e on tv) their going to be influenced by it and still do it. If it was such a good idea, then why wouldn't everyone do it. Because it's not. It does more harm than good for a little kid. Surely you wouldn't think that you would know better? I'm not saying to have them watch only profanity. That can be applied to any other type of entertainment. If they do it at all, all the parent has to do is restrict use of entertainment until they've learned their lesson, it'll leave a mark. It does no harm to the kid, it's just sounds, it's the parent who was brought up thinking that those sounds are evil who is thinking it's harmful.
  4. That made me 'lol' for real. These people are the essence of hard-line christians. You would walk down the street on a slight angle and they'd probably scream "he's possessed - exeorcism!" :uhh: The people who made warcraft were commie pinkos. God told me yesterday. Nintendo must include the gospels in pokemon. I agree, they are heavily overeacting on anything that casts a spell or differs from their beliefs, branding it occult.
  5. This is on censoring profanity and the like, not nudity. What you think of the F word depends on how you were brought up with it. If your parents say that that is a nasty, terrifying word from a young age then you are more likely to think that way on it.
  6. I'll believe it when you scan and post the invoice from Hitachi for that multi-million dollar machine. I bought it used.
  7. Either those are your benevolent undercover extra-terrestrials or that's 110% fake.

  9. Flower power 60's No, just regular stuff, and some fur when it gets below freezing.
  10. The first post contains a paragraph on that subject. Ownage new sig, by the way, and I'm not being sarcastic. :) I agree with the essay, it's too true (except for a few parts).
  11. You know, that got me thinking about the pokemon emerald review. What do they want instead of fictional creatures 'evolving' (proves they don't know what the hell they are talking about since that can hardly be considered evolving). Sounds like they want pokemon X to create into pokemon Z.
  12. Heheh, I love how American Idol does that, one of the contestants was like, "Well Simon, kiss my̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ã

Thanks! I'll try that sometime soon, looks fun.

Looks like I need some more practice before trying larger images. :) That's pretty interesting since I made the gold one fast and didn't add any glints. Maybe I used a better selection of colors.

Bghahahahah. What kind of laugh is that? :o Anyway I still think all the fun is having your face pressed against the window.
  16. The Macarina! \ No, he's being a pathetic dancer.
  17. wrong board aye? :D Nope. :-k Am I confused? cant get above 123 on rsc. Congratulations, that is a truly amazing achievement Oh, I'm an idiot. #-o
  18. He's still right. Explain what's wrong with it. It's a fun thread. :-s ? [Forbidden] on your computer is just pixels, so he's right in his response. I'm not sure if I understand your question though, what's wrong with what? Someone said the thread was inappropriate?

Bring me a soul on a plate or tray and I'll believe they exist.

Better reaction than I expected. :) Remember these were meant to be desktop icon/forum emoticon quality, not uber pixel sigs.
  21. I think that's intentional.

Some pixel icons made by me. I'm fairly new to pixeling, and thought I should start small, so criticism, tips ect. are welcome. Better shaded "T" icon: Alternate image incase your browser doesn't support 8-bit PNG's; bright green area is the transparent area; I also edit the icons using no transparency since editing the transparent ones causes errors: Original "T" Icon: Alternate: An emoticon: Alternate: Red icon with a white letter T: Alternate: The above icon with no letter: Nice shading eh? Would appreciate tips on adding glints to this gilded letter: All made on MS paint and Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0, made transparent on ImageMajick Studio, which can be found here. If I make more I'll add them.
  23. That's super good, the hands need a bit more work though.

I've only been on a plane once and I was about 5 years old... I really want to ride in one again. It's pretty cool if the plane banks to your side of the feusalage and you are by the window.
  25. It looks like any other air force base, but that's only above ground. Look at these pictures I posted earlier, they may be holes in the ceiling of a massive unerground testing facility. This is a bit north of Area 51 on Wikimapia: Two 'mines' indicated by labels. A closeup of the northern 'mine', See what I mean?
