Play to win already, scrubs.
+1 The most fun I can get from FoG now-a-days is making pures mad by running around and into houses, sadly. When FoG first came out, I loved it. No one cared if people ran away. No one cared about the free mage exp. It was there to have fun. It was to be expected. But now, probably 80% of the people that play it is either to get mage exp or to insult people who actually play the game as it should. When I'm the hunter and I'm hunting down a so called "runner," I don't start going "Omfg runner noob scared lolz. *insert swear concerning runner's mother*" as most arrogant people do.

Why do we reminisce?
(If there is a topic that is the same as this one, please lock this thread) rem·i·nisce - to recall past experiences, events, etc. ^ For people that don't know what it means  ^ So why do we? Is it because the old times were better? Or we like to think back when things were more simple/ fun? Maybe to have something to talk about? Or is it because we want to act like we've played since party hats were dropped? :^o  I always reminisce, even for non-Runescape things. It seems like whatever is changed, people like to talk about how it was "back then." People usually like to reminisce about how things used to be better and why/how they're worse. In my opinion, I think we reminisce because we like talking about how something used to be and how it is now. Discuss. P.S. This is my first topic I think I've made for discussion, and I thought this was something good to talk about. Please don't flame/shame me if this thread has been done before me

Random Money Making ways -- List your own!
Well even though I'm F2P : , I've heard that killing green dragons can be very good money if you have a high combat level. 1) You apparently go to the dragons in the Chaos Tunnels, mainly because you don't need to worry about revenants and the crowds are smaller - supposedly :? . I don't know the specifics, but if you read THIS guide (not advertising the thread, it just elaborates on my idea), it tells you most/all the areas where you can slay green dragons. Money made can go apparently can go up to 300K an hour, but that's most likely if your combat lvl is 100+ and if you are efficiently killing them. My nooby methods of getting money in F2P shall stay a secret!

Lending partyhats makes you bald.
A friend told me that he became bald, and he didn't know how. He thought someone hacked him and changed his hair or something. I guess it's just a glitch.

Ftp Air rune crafting.
I would personally wear the ring, but not use it. The ring has a special ability that allows you to obtain a couple of extra air runes per trip. That could add up in time, i.e. RC'ing 1k ess could give you 1k extra air runes, all from just wearing the ring!

Deposit 10 or Deposit 10!
I guess this thread should be locked now. Anyways, the people that posted above are correct.

The Ultimate Guide to F2P Banking **Updated July 10th**
It's a good guide, but I personally think that the new tabs for F2P are pretty useless, since you can (more like have to #-o ) fit your bank into 1 and a half pages in the bank. I am still happy someone took the time to make a guide for a F2P bank though

Range to lvl 61 in f2p
I am personally training range atm too. I am doing Ice Giants. I don't know if they are the most efficient way, but I find it less boring than doing lessers, mosses, etc. They are located in a dungeon near the Incamdo (sp?) dwarf, where you mine the blurite ore for the Knight's Sword quest. They are rarely crowded for me, and if they are, I just hop worlds. GL :

Should Gravestones be Changed?
But think about it. If it was that easy to get back your items, no one would be afraid of dying. People would abuse it and intentionally die, only to come back to their gravestone. The way the gravestones are right now gives you a reason to stay alive. If your friend could get your items back for you, you wouldn't care if you died.

The Finest Fist of Guthix Strategy Guide - UPDATED
Yeah, it's an awesome guide. When FOG first came out, I used to only wall hug, but eventually I realised it's not worth wasting 10 minutes on 1 game. I am now a Center Defender :D 10/10 8-)

Runescape becoming too complicated for new players?
Those are such true points :-# The first time I ever trained Mining, it was very simple. Click on orange rock, then on grey rock, get strange things in your backpack, use it on a black box with orange light coming out, magically make a dagger with 3 bangs with a hammer, the end. Now, it is a whole other thing, for example, Construction. Go to falador, walk to estate agent, forget your 1k, go to bank, withdraw 1k, walk back to the agent, buy house, walk to rimmington, try to figure out how to get in, get in, try to make a room, need more money, get more money from bank and come back, build room, says you need plank to build something, get an axe, cut a tree, walk to saw miller, make into plank, walk back to portal, go inside, go back out and go into building mode, use a "build X" option, message says "need saw and hammer", go back out, beg people for saw and hammer, go back in, build a chair, the end. Good job! you got what, 58 exp? See what I mean how they are making the new skills so complicated? :-s
