So the murder happened when he was on the jury, or the trial? Because it's very unlikely that someone would be charged within a month of the incident. I sat around for 3 hours today and they sent me home. They didn't need any of us, I guess. :D I'm excused for tomorrow and friday, so maybe monday I'll at least have a chance at being on a jury. Nah it was just the trial when he was on jury duty. The case had been open for quite a long time.

They keep it to themselves during the trial. They cannot watch tv news or read any newspaper. After the trial they can talk about it if they like. My dad just doesn't want to talk about it.

My dad was on jury duty for the month when we had a huge murder case with 3 or 4 people getting murdered. It was one of those family killings where the mother went psycho and killed her family. He still won't talk about it, but I could see that it was really hard on him. They eventually sentenced her to 4 life terms even though she plead insanity. I'm registered for jury duty, and I really hope that I get to do it :)

They're not even close to one of my favorite artists. I don't see many people walking around talking about Maiden the way they do about some bands that are considered "pioneers".

If you could get like 3-4 words of a verse or chorus just type that in before "lyrics" in Google Search. That's what I do when I can't figure out a song that I hear.

They toured all last summer with OzzFest on the main stage because they couldn't be on the second stage (which was sponsored by Jagermeister) due to the fact they're all underage. Blame their success on that if you will. "Shout" is my favorite by them. They're also on the Rockstar Mayhem Tour this summer.

I had a talk with my mom the other day about kids being spoiled. She said that she had a hard enough time saying no to my sister and I (22 and 18 respectively) and I told told her that I thought it was because her generation never got any of the "treats" that we all take for granted; going to McDonald's, having a bag of potato chips, or having sugary cereal. A lot of those things our parents didn't get and of course, they always wanted them. Now they see us wanting the same things that they did when they were children, and on top of it: they can afford to get us those things. That's why, in my own opinion, kids seem to be more "spoiled" than in past generations.

I'll edit mine in tomorrow. I love being able to walk outside and look up at the stars without being blinded by city lights. Small towns for the win!

Oh I know, I wasn't referring to terrorism, but wizzkid brought up crime and the "war on drugs" (aka the war on personal freedom) so I was just referring to that. Hope that clears things up.

Our country remains at the top of the list for solving violent crimes, but tell me: Why do we need to change the ways we solve crime if it has been dropping SINCE 1993

Now you're venturing quite off-topic. Wiretapping has nothing to do with cold case murders or drug lords sneaking drugs in. Those two things will never be stopped and besides, terrorists will plot no matter if they're wiretapped or not. The point I've been trying to prove is if you give them an inch, they will take a mile. Wiretapping, under any circumstances, is completely wrong.

That's completely irrelevant. There are plenty of stupid decisions made every day, but they aren't made around roller coasters traveling in excess of 80mph with plenty of signs that say DO NOT ENTER. DANGER.

If we can't stop an obvious attack on a landmark like that, then I'm sorry, but our homeland security is terrible. It was terrible pre-9/11 too. We have enough intelligence on overseas terrorist networks and have for years. We don't need to wiretap private citizens. Our country's homeland security had one giant mess-up with the World Trade Centers that could have EASILY been prevented. That doesn't give them the right to wiretap private citizens regardless of who they're calling.

Yes, that IS what is happening and what has been happening for THOUSANDS OF YEARS. Have you not studied history at all?

I don't care if it is me, or if it is my neighbor, or if it is some guy in Wyoming. The government has no right to monitor any citizen's home without warrant. End of story. I don't care if they're a suspected terrorist or not. The government has no right being in a place they shouldn't be, because once they search those homes, they can search any home and, eventually, people will just be "okay" with it. One thing leads to another and you have cameras on the corners and in your homes. Governments, historically, that have instituted public surveillance have been dictatorships and have had war monger leaders. Oh wait, gosh that sounds SO familiar. I'm not afraid of my government, I'm very angry that they would go against so many moral and constitutional standards that have been set in place during the development of this nation. People should not be afraid of their government; governments should be afraid of their people. Take that advice.

Maybe you're not old enough to understand all of this yet, wizzkid, but those 4 things right there scare the hell out of me. Like Bill Hicks always liked to say, "Go back to sleep America, your government is in control." It's a shame he isn't alive today to give a few lines about the situations now.

Use Chaeldar until you reach 100 combat, then use Duradel. Slayer starts getting profitable around 70 or so. One you hit 83 it get's majorly profitable. Rune drops and such really help along the way; most of the monsters you can kill already, drop them.

The Shannara Series by Terry Brooks. The first 8-10 books in that series are EPIC. Such good reading.
