It's impossible to describe the feeling of getting a tattoo, but the lesser amount of muscle you have between your skin and bone the more the tattoo will hurt. Example: Pectoral tattoo, forearm tattoo, or bicep tattoo is relatively painless and ribs, spine, or top of foot is A LOT more painful. I had mine on my side and part of it went to my ribs and it was pretty painful but pretty tolerable too. Just don't psych yourself out and go for it, you won't regret it :)

I really agree with the cliche tattoos being stupid. Example is the lower back tattoo or the barbwire around the bicep. I really don't like those. If it means something to you and you're expressing your individuality then tattoos are a great idea.

Well I just got my first tattoo yesterday afternoon and I really love it. I am not regretting my decision to get one at all and it's in a spot that is easily covered by a shirt. But what I really don't understand is why there is so much animosity towards tattoos. I told some friends in the Tif clan chat and they said stuff like "tattoos are epic phail" and other slams against tattoos. What are your opinions on tattoos and why? Please try to be civil and keep the personal insults to a minimum.

Elementary School: Probably the time I got caught shoving this kid's face into mud, that was fun. Middle School: Bringing a Sharpie into school and drawing a landscape on the bathroom stall that covered the whole wall haha. High School: I settled down in high school and didn't get into too much trouble, except when we saran wrapped the principal's car during one of the football games. He thought it was funny as all hell, but the janitor that caught us didn't. We knew our principal would like it and that's how we got the balls to do it.

No the only magazine I read about music is Rolling Stone and Slipknot isn't in RS. I don't follow trends at all, I really hate mainstream radio and Slipknot is probably the most mainstream band I listen to. I just do not find them to be particularly terrible as everyone else does. And thanks for telling me that I just like whatever is in at the time, because I've been listening to Slipknot for around 9 years now and I don't get my new music from the radio.

Yes collecting is a hobby, but most hobbies when you get the product, you don't consume it. If he's wearing those shoes, he's consuming product. That's how consumption works.

It's been in that spot since it came out, but it's dropping like a rock. Was all the way at 9.5. Give it another month and it'll be at 9.0 or less.

Yeah maybe it would be a hobby if they were collecting these to put on display or to have sealed up in a case, but these are for wearing. They are consuming product. If buying pairs of shoes to wear is a hobby, then I have a great hobby eating at Taco Bell.

My point is that having hundreds of millions of fans worldwide justifies, to me, that they're putting their talent to use in the correct way. I like metal a lot, Slipknot isn't even one of my favorite bands, but all the metal sub-genres just tend to blur and don't have much substance in my opinion. They're not the catalyst that TOOL or Pink Floyd may be, but they're still selling out massive venues worldwide. Whether or not their music is "easy to digest garbage" is your opinion, but that has nothing to do with their talent. They write songs that are filled with plenty of talent and people can realize that (With, of course, the exception of you and every other person who deems Slipknot as garbage).

Boxer Briefs. They're just perfect. It's impossible to get them bunched up and you don't have the feeling of wearing uncomfortable briefs. It's wonderful.

Well considering they headline some of the biggest rock festivals and shows across the entire globe, I think they might be capitalizing on their talent, but hey, maybe that's just my misconstrued opinion.

You can try to make up as many genres as you want to try to half-[wagon] classify Slipknot, but the fact remains that Slipknot has a lot of talented musicians in their band. You might not like their music, stage antics, or how you might claim they wear masks for attention (As if they can't get it from their music. Last time I checked you can't see masks on the radio.), but they are talented. I don't like Dillinger Escape Plan AT ALL (I think their songs really blow actually), but those guys are extremely talented musicians and I can respect that.

I think I might be the only one on here with either of these pairs of shoes. [hide=Dr. Martens] These are more for wearing in the winter with jeans or something with long pants on. Things cost me $125.00 but they're durable as all hell. Best boot you can buy for your money.[/hide] [hide=Macbeth] Summer shoes. Great with pretty much anything you wear and are surprisingly comfortable.[/hide] And to those of you who have 30,000 pairs of Nikes of all different colors: I'm sorry, but you're quite stupid to waste that much money on shoes. I love buying shoes as much as the next guy, but people don't give a damn if you have matching shoes with your "outfit". The only person that really cares is you.

Because they can. And it's just getting old. According to them nu-metal, which isn't even what they are anymore, isn't worthy of any praise.

I've always been an advocate of gun control on handguns. I have tons of friends that are hunters (considering I live in rural Wisconsin) and not one of them uses a handgun to hunt. These guys and girls are the real deal. They miss every day of school when it is deer hunting season and when t-zones comes up they miss for that, and when muzzle-loader comes up they miss school as well. Keep rifles and shotguns for hunting purposes but get rid of handguns. Handguns serve no point but to kill another human. They should be gone, end of story.
