  1. I don't think there's any age limit really outside of high school. Just don't let people get you down if you date younger in high school. Also, don't break any laws.
  2. Tool owns prog metal. They've been around for nearly 20 years and have never released a garbage album. Every Tool album is crafted to the finest detail and average is never accepted by the members. The maturity of the band is quite astounding.
  3. Well most of the ones I'd normally recommend you probably have seen already, but here's a list of some you might not have.... Goodfellas Casino 12 Angry Men Harold and Maude Apocalypse Now We Were Soldiers V For Vendetta Casablanca The Gods Must Be Crazy Resevoir Dogs
  4. Deliver pizzas. There's no tax on the tips you make and believe me, if you work weekends, you make over $75 in tips in one night, along with your wage. I did it for a year and I had a blast doing it.
  5. I love women's volleyball.
  6. Gosh, I wish my knowledge and taste in the Metal genre was SO refined like yours is.
  7. Yeah don't watch this new bs. The old ones were the way to go. Only watch it if it's in black and white.
  8. It was fair of you to reference that, though. Most people haven't listened to his other music.
  9. Freak out. Mega afraid of heights and airplanes.
  10. I'd like to know.... Who on TIF was The Sweatpants Kid in elementary school? I know I wasn't, but every grade had The Sweatpants Kid.
  11. It sounds pretty good so far. I missed when they played it at Hot Topic, so I guess I'll just have to buy it when it comes out.
  12. I assume you've listened to "Psychosocial" and nothing else. If you have listened to "All Hope Is Gone" the song, you would probably retract that statement. But hey, let's just go ahead and judge an entire album on the radio single from it. Sounds good to me.
  13. Saw him live with the rest of the guys in my band and we all agreed on the fact that when we saw him, he was definitely NOT sloppy.
  14. Believe me I have seen most of his other work, because I really do hate his radio stuff. I heard about his "good" work from a friend, but I don't think he's one of the best guitarists because of it.
  15. I think a lot of the champions come from the tri-state area (Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa) if I'm not mistaken, because I see at least once a month some new record time from a local kid on the Twin Cities news stations.
  16. Well I'm with you on not believing in the conventional sense of god, but when humans were created, according to christian beliefs, they were created in "his likeness". So that kinda throws out your theory on what he is supposed to look like.
  17. I believe god is our conscience. Our conscience tells us what is right and wrong, and whether you follow that is your choice.
  18. Dude, it's awesome. Watch Black Tide, they're freakin' awesome. I just was at that show on Sunday.
  19. I saw them when they played St. Paul. It was absolutely awesome, they played for 3 and a half hours straight. No warm up band either. But bands I have seen live: Rage Against the Machine at Alpine Valley Ampitheatre. 45,000 people crammed into an outdoor ampitheatre to see Rage play their 3rd concert in 8 years. Truly the most magical event I have experienced in my life. And I'm going to see them again (see signature) Queens of the Stone Age Slipknot Disturbed The Mars Volta Dragonforce Mastodon Machine Head Black Tide Airbourne Five Finger Death Punch The Blood Brothers The following I saw when I was in middle school with my mom, she really liked these bands: Goo Goo Dolls Maroon 5-when they were on tour with Matchbox 20 BEFORE anyone had heard of them. Matchbox 20 Old 97s Five For Fighting
  20. My favorite was the one where the guy's wife hated him reading all the time so he would take his lunch breaks in the vault reading at the bank where he worked. One day there was a nuclear holocaust of some sort, but since he was in the vault he was alive. Guy walks out and finds everyone dead, but finds the local library intact. Goes and grabs a pile of books and is about to sit down to read them all when his coke bottle-esque glasses fall to the ground and he steps on them, breaks them, leaving him completely blinded.
  21. Seriously? You must not listen to much music if you classify Jack White or John Mayer as the best. They might be able to write a catchy tune, but their technical ability is nowhere near most of the guitarists listed so far
