Discriminatory policies are like that. They tend to work for most and not for some. Tell me how this is going to negatively affect anyone aside from the homophobic military members, please. And wouldn't you think that it would be better for the same homophobic soldiers to actually know who is gay? Wouldn't that make them feel safer knowing who they should avoid in the shower? Or is the real issue here that there is some sort of underlying hatred for gays among military members? It seems like the people who aren't on the front lines might have a better perspective on this than the soldiers that have had homophobia driven into them by their superiors that support DADT. Again if you read the results of the survey, over half of front line troops, especially marines, predicted problems arising from this. If you want to believe their all homophobes go for it, but the reality is they have to deal with more and more stupid PC nonsense every day, they'd rather just not think about it and get on with a difficult job. Good for them. Let them predict all they want, but it's not going to change anything. And this is not "PC nonsense", this is blatant discrimination. "All men are created equal." Yeah, except for gays in the military. We don't want them. Just like we didn't want blacks or women either. How can a military upholding the constitution and statements such as "all men are created equal" not allow "all men" to protect the country they live in. The idiocy is truly beyond me.

Black Swan. It was my first Aronofsky movie in the theater and it was awesome! I definitely recommend seeing it if you've enjoyed his other movies.

Am I the only one that could care less about RWT and botters? I would rather have a fun game that I can enjoy without so many restrictions. If some kid wants to spend his money on buying gp with physical currency, I say let him waste his money (or hers for that matter). If he wants to bot all his levels, I say let him. Neither of those gives any sort of gratification that attaining levels in an honest manner would. I am indifferent to bots and gold farmers and am willing to put them back in the game if I can play Runescape the way it was MEANT to be played.

There's something really fishy about this that I don't like, but I can't put my finger on it. Oh well, I voted anyways. Bring back free trade!

I convinced my friends not to go to the theatre last night for this one because I didn't want to spend $10+ on an average movie. Instead I got them to watch The Seventh Seal (1957). It was a pretty good movie although the chess theme kind of gets slightly worn out over time.

Judging by your joining date, you haven't really experienced free trade and pking. Someone would need to have started playing at the start of 2006 to really know what it's about, and you might have, but there are ALOT of people out there and here that didn't pk, didn't stake and don't nearly have the capital to afford rare items, thus their opinions are mostly useless(they don't know what we are missing). By your logic, thousands of people quit runescape for no reason at all. Do you really think so? That's a ridiculous statement. My join date is '07 but I've been playing since 2004.

BEHOLD. THE GREAT IGLOO OF 2010. (With not so great cellphone pictures) A little deceptive, this goes in about 15 feet. Comfortably seats 10+ Side angle with the house for scale. Home sweet home! We made a base of about half that size with shovels and then snowblowed about half of my yard directly on the pile (notice the boulevard snow piles, one is significantly smaller haha). Then we let it freeze overnight and hollowed it out the next day. The large stick you see in the top of the igloo was so when we hollowed it out, we had a reference point as to not dig too far.

A person whose job is to protect people and has training beyond the basics can have a gun. I have no problem with that.

My hometown in Wisconsin got over 20" of snow about a week ago now. My friends and I are all back for Christmas break and are making a front yard-sized igloo. Pics coming soon........

I get a chuckle out of the pro-gun rights posters on here. Every hypothetical situation involving guns always goes smoothly and always ends up with the bad guy getting shot. Have you guys even had a gun drawn on you before? Do you know what it's like to have a gun pointed in your face? The only thing you have time to do is drop a big dump right in your pants. Get off your high horse if you think a gunman would ever let you get your gun out in time.

Even though it has died down recently, I still think this thread is great. Good resource for music if you're looking for new stuff.
