Love the online play. Much better than COD. I pretty much stick to recon, managed to shoot a pilot in the head of a moving helicopter the other day. Was the best. kill. ever.

Mini-Profile: Have Age, Gender and Interests displayed
[hide] Problem is, you talk like this kind of stuff can be done with a snap of the fingers. It could be simple, it could not be. But I honestly don't see why it's urgent enough to merit the one or two coders available diverting their attention from RL and the rest of tip.it's coding needs. I'm not talking about fully diverting them, or making it really urgent in any way. I even understand it might not be anywhere near simple! :geek: ... All I'm asking for is that they go at it when they have absolutely nothing else to do. Or they're bored and want to change what they're doing. B) You didn't read my "p.s.:" to Das in that post, did you??? Read it already!!! Or do you, for some odd reason, like trolling to make me (and possibly others) angry??? :x ... I seriously don't mind if it takes some time, as long as it finally will happen... Just as I was, opinion-wise, about features back when this forum was on PhpBB3.0 ... O:) ~Mr. D. V. "I am not as you think I am..." Devnull [/hide]Perhaps tone your posts down a bit, you come across as very rude there. Anyway, I see no need for these things to be displayed beside posts. As das said, does it matter what their age or gender is? If you are really that interested, you can click on their profile to find out the information. However, in a post, the information simply plays no part in being seen. Would it aid someone whilst reading a post to see that they are female? Male? 18? 40? I highly doubt it, and if the need did come up to bring up your age or gender, then ou can simply state it in the post.

Becoming a Mod
Assuming you have been invited to become a mod already and have sent off your information, then all I can suggest is wait or contact them. We cannot allow users to disclose information regarding Jagex and their recruitment of moderators, so I'll have to close this. Feel free to speak to Jagex if you have any queries. If you are talking about applying on the forum-thread, they will message you via RuneScape to say if you have been invited, other than that they already have the application.

Just bought the game from town (limited edition?). Doing the main storyline currently as the internet is playing up, looks good so far though.

Shattered Hearts Data - Replica Pieces?
What skill were you doing? Woodcutting What is your level in that skill? 91 How long before your 1st/2nd rock? Not too long, no idea when I received my first rock, but it can't have been more than 30 minutes gameplay for the second. How much xp (or other rewards) did you receive for creating a statue? 8199 XP in woodcutting.

What movie(s) did you last see?
District 9, seen it before but someone wanted to watch it so I thought 'Why not?'. Alright movie, nothing to get overly excited about though.

I had trouble getting on the forums a little while ago.
It was just a few technical issues, nothing to be worried about.

Falklands Dispute
This pretty much. If a war is triggered, it will have been Argentina who start it. We regained it once already, we can easily do it again. Not too sure why the Argentinians went to the US, since they have no bearing on the dispute. I believe they've also spoken to the UN about the matter. The fact remains that it remains land that we have a right to drill, they are simply demanding it back for money, and to be honest I highly doubt we are going to give in to any idle threats from the coutry.

Well so long as wrong-doer's get their punishments and the glitch is fixed, I'm happy.

The Official PS3 Thread
Also bought it today. Amazing game, the demo was what pushed me to get it. Edit: Carl, you betrayed me, I'm all on my lonesome with Raven. Not that I play MAG anymore.

Noooooooooooooob! Congrats!

Glitch with forums and proxies
It simply means that another person has used the proxy you are using, and the IP address has been banned as such. Unfortunately we won't unban them without due cause as someone else can easily use the proxy also in order to join and cause nuisance.

Hihihihihi
I had my version on a disc, someone else bought it I think. :-P It stopped working on my laptop though, and I've since misplaced the disc. o.o

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
Last bought MAG, was impressed at first, now I am finding it rather boring and repetitive. Going to buy Heavy Rain in 2 days time after playing the amazing demo.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
When my iPod dies and I'm on the train I still keep my headphones on for the same reason. I'll do this when I'm on a bus and my iPhone dies. I always end up getting a talkative person next to me otherwise who talks utter nonsense to me. I'm never interested in what strangers have to say to be honest.

Halitophobia
Cannot stand people with bad breath, I keep my distance from them if I talk. I also can't bring myself to kiss anyone with bad breath, eurgh. But alike Lateralus, I keep gum on me just for good measure. I don't think I have a problem though. Knew one chap at school who seemed to never brush his teeth, and I had the displeasure of having him in my tutor group. Bad times.

Should Tip.it limit/censor what people can say?
No limits on free speech can mean that people are allowed to say some pretty offensive things. There should always be limits when things get over the top/extreme (such as people preaching racial hate in real life, or religious extremism). As for the censor, stonewall337, staff will never have a personal vendetta against any member (we're all impartial, and if a user offends a direct mod, it will always be another moderator who deals with them anyway). If it were censored/replaced with something else, I'm sure there is a just reason for it. :-)

*Points to http://forum.tip.it/topic/36346-the-gallery-rules-faq-and-resources/* A bit more like a condensed newbie guide. The helpful tips in there are far too tl;dr 1. Dont post your first sig, its probably crap 2. Please use a reasonable signature program 3. Dont expect to be awesome 4. Constructive Criticism isnt because we like to be harsh on you, its because your signature has flaws. 5. Dont post other people's work 6. Dont make individual threads for every piece of work 7. Dont flop a render on a background and call it art. 8. Use tutorials if you have no idea where to start 9. Posting RuneScape screenshots is not considered art 10. Dont give up Oh and: Illegal downloading of graphics programs is against forum rules and the law. Durr durr GIMP Maybe, the current sticky is quite a mouthful, but it's been subject to merging of loads of other stickies through time. I'm sure something can happen to make it easier to read though.
