  1. Follow the link that Kingjoe left and read the replies to the initial post. There seems to be instructions on fine tuning the settings to get it to work Good responses! How dare he look for help and advice on the "Help and Advice" threads. :wall:
  2. Um....not to go all "on topic" and such, but I don't think high level=nerdy at all. I play games on my ps2, and I play Runescape. Some people play Xbox and Runescape, some play Wii and Runescape...and so on and so forth. Some people just play Runescape. They're the one who are leveling up while I play SOCOM. People who are high level obviously enjoy the game as much as we enjoy other games, so unless we're all nerdy....they aren't either.
  3. This should have been a TipitTimes story. Nice job =D>
  4. Actually, I have 7 friends who pay for members for a month every now and then to post suggestions on the forum. So there goes your theory of no one. And sorry, but the whole thing about Jagex 'not caring about money, they just want to reach out into the community and promote fairness and equality' is exactly the type of promotional crap they want you to believe while getting as much money as they can behind the scenes, just like every other company. Man, when your 7 friends pay for that month of membership, does that make your game experience better? Are there more updates that month? Because if not, the whole "FtP is draggin us down" argument is failed. OT: I don't do RSOF, it's a frakkin' noob-o-rama, so I don't care.
  5. Every Sunday, I look for the times, and then a few days later I look forward to the poll (man, that just sounds wrong...). It was close, but I went Tipit Times. Reason being, polls are quick. Vote, and done. Times, on the other hand, gives me 4-5 mins of new stuff to read.
  6. Runecrafting, no doubt. :wall:

As an adult, I feel it should be decriminalized and up to me whether or not to consume it. However, anyone who's worried about getting into "trouble" if caught by their parents should probably wait until they can make their own decisions.
  8. This is so cool, congrats Tipit, and thanks Jagex! \ Let's just make sure the TIF doesn't sink to the dark, stupid, obnoxious depths of the RSOF :wall:
  9. Maybe something like a ships compass, or a ships wheel to let people think they'll eventually get to build a whole ship
  10. The variety of music listened to by scapers is as abundant as the players are. To pigeonhole one genre as being the favorite is pretty silly.
  11. And compfreak... based on this and some of your other posts......... this game really is your life isn't it? Wow. You get repeatedly proven wrong, and resort to personal attacks. Way to go =D>
  12. Another "i don't play this game" person who still posts on a runescape fan site. The game is well worth playing. Lots of new things to do, and less bots! What more can you ask for?
  13. Last night in Edgeville, I asked the simple question "where can I find evergreen trees?". What response did I get? "Go away noob" followed by "lol". IMHO, a lot of people are mean to others in RS because it's anonymous. Bad day at work? Take it out on noobs with no chance of IRL retaliation! Wanna look/feel tough when IRL you're not? Make a noob look stupid! People in general are nice, but there's always gonna be the IRL losers who want to act tough when they know it will never really get back to them. PS: I found the evergreen trees \
  14. Better rewards, but fewer randoms? Great update =D>
  15. Monthly membership with RS is pretty much the same as monthly cable, ISP, phone, etc. Right now I'm not watching tv, but my cable bill stays the same. Later on I'll log off the internet, but the amount i pay for my ISP is the same. I think having a set price for 30 days of RS(or any game for that matter) is easiest for everyone.
  16. Fished last night for 4 hours, no randoms for me. Not a complaint mind you, just an observation.
  17. mystik nailed it. =D> sorry, Mystik01
  18. --Kenneth Himma Great scenario....for a movie. Think about it- we know how many bombs, what kind of bombs, what cities they're in, have a known conspirator in custody, and we KNOW that if we torture him he'll give us the locations of each bomb. Shouldn't the scenario tell us what kind of torture to use? Everything else is laid out there for us. How did the authorities find out that torture is the answer? Did the conspirator tell them "I will only give you the information if you torture me"? If that's the case, torture is ok. Otherwise, no.
  19. When I first started playing RS, I googled for quest help, and found this site to be best (for me). \

You say "remember me noob" and wonder where their manners are? Are you expecting them to thank you? "Oh, thank you for killing me" seems a little odd.
