  1. Hmm. I, Myself would say steels. They have a higher drop rate of skirts and platelegs. But i don't have a huge experience with them.
  2. EASY. Get some barrows, a Whip or Dragon Scimitar and kill Green Dragons in the Chaos Tunnels. While farming toadflax in all 4 farming patches at the same time. Harvest them every 1 and 1/2 hours. Repeat. You'll have 3 - 4.5m if you play a decent amount in those 7 days.
  3. Yes, when you pray at any altar, it gives you the option to switch books, or just recharge your prayer points.
  4. Oh boy. Doesn't look like I'll be playing much next year... But, along with this, and based on previous events, i believe that more higher-level things will be coming out sometime soon.
  5. I guess granite body is your best bet. If the weight is a issue, switch to Sacred Clay. And if you want a +4 str bonus and you like the looks, then fighter torso is for you. I think those are your only options.
  6. Morrigan's Javelin. It can hit about just as high as a hand cannon, and is 15 points more accurate. But even more if you count a zammy book. And not to mention that you can use a shield for extra def.
  7. You kinda just answered your own question. Rune Defender should work fine.
  8. No, it's still at large. You can't really base a theory of inflation dieing off just because some items were seen dropping for a day. And no huge updates that would obviously effect it directly took place. It won't stop until something is done with PK'ing and merching. Something done with one or the other will effect it also. But not as much as if both are taken care of.
  9. It's really quite easy. Armoured Zombies. I got 5.5M 86 - 90 str with farming toadflax along side of my bank runs. You should at least get 20M 87 - 99. But, if you find that money too slow, you can do dragons.
  10. Hmm, that might work. Because 86 - 90 range with chining was fast, and didn't even cost that much. So i might burst.
  11. I recently got 90 in all my combat stats except mage. Now my combat stats look really off balance(90-90-90-90-80). So, i want to go for higher mage. Depending on how brain grousing the method is, i want to get 90, or 94 if i can stand it. I bought a bandos godsword, but got bored of it after one night, and sold it again today.(made a 26k profit :D) Which means i have 27M to work with. And if i can get there extremely fast with all of it, I'm not afraid to spend it all. Some methods i've heard that are good are stringing amulets, plankmake(after i reach 86, of course), alching, and superglass make. I alched 74 - 80, and it cost me a lot. So unless it's gotten cheaper, that might be ruled out. But if it is cheaper now, I'd like to alch a good part of it, as it's semi AFKable(Wireless mouses). I really like methods that are like armoured zombies. Because i have my playstation right next to my computer, and can play some games while training. So when you suggest a method, it would be nice if you could take this into consideration. Thanks for your help in advance!
  12. This right here. I can't count how many times i've wished i could brainwash myself of my Runescape knowledge and become a noob again. So i could explore without worrying about fame or anything like that. Any at any rate, the only way you can be 'famous' now is if you're a good Runescape Youtube artist(Or someone on the highscores like zem or king diffy, but that's a little on the harder side). I can count lots of people that have to keep their private off because of their fame from Yt. Whynay Emnay, Teh Noob show(Don't know his real RSUN), Spark Mac, the list goes on. Basically, you just need to make goals. Start with small ones. Then you can go for bigger ones.
  13. I would send a bug report because I doubt this was the intention. I did send one, and i hope it gets fixed soon.
  14. Yes... I have... Again, FML. Things aren't going well today. Well, is it a bug? Or did they program the quest like that?
  15. I just need to make sure this is a bug: I talked to Blaze, he told me to light the becon. I used a normal log with the becon(I do have 20 of the same type) and it says that i shouldn't mess with the becons because there is a high alert from the wilderness. I've tried lighting diff becons, nothing. I've logged back in and out, nothing. I've gone through all of Blaze's dialog, nothing. I really need to get this quest done. Because I'm going for 70 fm, and i need that ring.
  16. For anyone that wants to know: This still works to the day I'm posting this. And something kinda funny.. I should have brought 100 casts, but i only brought 50. when i had 10 casts left, i said to myself 'Crap, I'm going to have to finish him off with my dds...'. ...but i managed to kill him on my last death rune! Talk about luck :
  17. Guess it wouldn't hurt to try it then.
  18. How do i go about getting the blood diamond? I tried meleeing him with protect from mage on. But it didn't work. he hit consant 17s on me, and i only got 1 20 in before i baled out knowing i wasn't going to win. 60 atk 77 str 45 def 70 hp 63 range 61 mage 52 prayer I did it, maged him with splitbark body, rune kite, prossy helm and dark mystic skirt. Although i had to eat almost 20 sharks. ...I might have to make a good 400k for food/potions before i go after the final 2 gems.
  19. I'm currently 46 Thieving on my Zerker Pure. And i need 53 for Desert Treasure. I'm pickpocketing master farmers right now, and finding it really slow. I think I'm going to do One Small Favor and spend the two lamps on Thieving. But that still leaves me needing 48k exp... My questions are: -Do Bandit Brews work for the chest? -Should i switch to PP at 51 for the next one or two levels?(Depending on the above question)
  20. Trust me, you're going to regret not getting those gloves. Take this for a example: I created a Zerker pure not even 2 months ago. In that time, i've gotten 77 str, fighter torso, and dragon RDF gloves. And I'm only 25 more quest points away from being able to get barrows gloves. This might give you a over view. It will only take 2 days max to get them. All well, if you want to be stubborn about it, just buy a regen brace. Even if it has half the stats, it's still better then those horrid Dragon Gauntlets.
  21. Well, I'll give you all the best advice i have for training there. Just note this is with a larger budget. -Do frammy islands. There really isn't any reason no to do this. Decent combat exp, and gives the best over-all helm in the game. -Sell Bandos chest plate and buy tassets. Replace the chest plate with a fighter torso. -Do RFD all the way through. You really should do this anyway. Dragon Gauntlets are useless unless your: for some reason tanking attacks without fighting back. +12 str and +12 to all combat attack bonuses is just too good to pass up. ...Worse case scenario replace them with a regen brace. -Switch to Rune Defender(DFS around 85 attack; that is, if you can afford it) and whip while training attack and defence. use the SS for str only. -Get a warrior ring. Switch to a zerker ring around 85 attack. -Replace your glory with a fury if you have the cash. -Guthans for healing. If you have the charms and money, get 68 summoning for a bunyip. If all else fails, bones to peaches tabs are your friend. -Always bring a good 5 super pure sets. And duel ring to the dueling arena to restock. This adds so much more to your EXP/HR rate. But if don't want to bother paying attention to re-pot and bank, just skip this. -If you're not using a bunyip, use your best familiar in the combat style your training. Remember, this is the most efficient method i can think of. I doubit you'll be able to afford most of this, so just stick with the ones that you can do.
  22. No, actually. As much as i appreciate how many little useful tool Tip.it has such as this one, i find this one rather bothersome for one reason. I am always doing the same quests over and over again on diff accounts  I've made 3 members accounts so far, and so many F2P accounts that i've actually lost track :P So I'm always checking back over quest guides. But over all, it doesn't really matter. It's only one click.
  23. *Bump from 2nd page* Err, anyone? :|
  24. While alching, you're lucky to find any item that will get you gold in return. The reason being is because when this item is found to make a profit, it is instantly bought up with everyone that knows of this. Thus, the price rises making the item inefficient again. P2P players lose over 166 gp every alch with yew longbows. The most alched item. This can give you a basic view of what alching is like. And i don't know any other F2P items besides addy plates and G'hide bodies. Also, nature runes are high in price now due to less people crafting them for profit. Overall, if you're not looking to lose money, alching is not for you. But Superheating can sometimes make a profit. But almost always breaks even.
  25. I've trained my Zerker pure so that all the quests that give unwanted defence, attack, and prayer exp out of the way before I'm maxed. But i missed something: Defender of Varrock. As most people know, you need to get to a certain point in this quest to unlock Armoured Zombies. The only bad thing about this is that i missed 'What Lies Below'. Which gives 2k Def exp. I need to make the decision to unlock Armoured Zombies or not. I would be praying melee/range with 15% atk and str. Pros: -2nd fastest rate of combat EXP in the game. -Could make decent money at the same time. Cons: -I would be recharging prayer roughly every 1.44 minutes. -Rangers could easily snipe me for 8 damage. So i would have to bring baskets of strawberries for healing. -If i lag, i could easily die and lose about 51k. It doesn't seem like much, but my rune defender is in there along with a slave ammy. -Would have to get 2k def exp. Which would bring me from 6.4k till level down to 4.4k till level. It doesn't seem like much, but if i somehow accidentally switch to defensive attack style... It will ruin my pure. Forever. Unable to un-ruin. It seems that the cons greatly outweigh the pros. But we're talking about the 2nd fastest rate of exp. And you even make a profit while doing it! The following information is if i decide to do this: Here will be my setup. Which most likely will be modified. Zerker Helm Prossy plate Prossy tasset White Boots(Only because the +2 str from Rune Boots doesn't make any difference at any level) Dragon RDF Gloves No cape Slave Ammy Explorer's Ring/Ring of life(Depending on how much i die) Rune Defender Dragon Scimitar(DDS for spec) If i end up running out of prayer too often, I'm going to change a few things: -Replace the Zerker Helm with a Prossy sallet or guthix mitre(Only 1 prayer bonus difference. Which i don't really think is worth the extra 100k in case i die a lot). And losing the +3 to str would only make a slight difference. -Replace the Rune Defender with a full Zammy prayer book. Well, i would lose out on +11 Slash attack and +5 str. But in turn i gain 5 prayer. And if i do die a lot, it beats getting my rune defender back from addy. -Buy and use a Guthix Cloak. This will cost me an extra 700k if i die. So it's only if it's a lot safer then i think. Training hunting for the quest: Since my hunting is 1, I'd like the fastest was to 51. If people could inform me on this. If i don't decided to do this: Where do i train? :| In closing, Thanks for dealing with the long read. And i appreciate any input i can get.
