Yeah, keep it. I would base something like that just off of something that you 'sense'.

Does anyone have any dungeoneering rewards yet?
HexiledRazz replied to Snipers_end's topic in Help and Advice
Coal and gem bags don't degrade. Basically, with the bonecrusher: When you kill an enemy, instead of it dropping bones, you just get the same amount of prayer EXP had you buried the bones it would have dropped. And all off the scrolls: Once you buy them, you use them and you get the permanent effect described. Only reward i own atm is the gem bag. But others are pure logic/what i've heard from other people. -
Uhhh, how many players per server are we looking at here? Because let's face it. If there are only 2000 people aloud in a closed off server, there's going to be a severe limit on high level items. Whips, and stuff like that, that requires high stats to get ahold of would be ungodly expensive. And non of them would enter the economy till months after the server boots.

I didn't realize that there were still people that didn't know that darts were the best for Kuradals(EXP/hr, that is). But yeah, it's just because if the ring. There's a reason why people don't use cry bows at arma. Rune ke'bow is superior due to the special ability that bolts have. Plus the usage of a shield.

Yeah, it's just not necessary. Rares don't need 'cured'. It's a mistake that Jagex made years ago. They tried to make a nice little bonus to the game to show how long you've been playing. But they just turned into a item that can't re-enter the economy, thus skyrocketed. But actually, rares make a valuable part of the RS economy. If i ever decide to quit(I'm thinking of going to a trade school one day, thus wouldn't have much time for gaming that requires a lot of time), I'd like to buy up maybe a santa, or H'ween mask. Just to make sure my cashpile stays solid when i decide to return. I don't want to come back and find out that my GP's worth has been slashed in half by some big update. And I'm sure anyone else that has the same idea doesn't want that either. Basically, rares are fine the way they are. Jagex needs not to touch them.

I remember the update when Jagex changed it from 100% to 75%. So unless they changed it since then, it's 75%.

Since i got 94 mage recently, i've been venging while dungeoneering recently. And it really helps. But i have 57 runecrafting, and can't craft deaths yet. So drops are the only way i can get them. Basically, i've decided to get 65 runecrafting at ZMI altar, as it's the fastest EXP(I don't really enjoy runecrafting, so i just want to get it over with ASAP). My questions are: About how much EXP/hr is ZMI?(I've heard around 40k - 50k) About how many pess will i need?(Basically, how much will it cost?) And i've heard that you don't need to do MEP2 in order to craft deaths during DG'ing. Is this true? Thanks in advance!

Bursting Rock lobsters would be the smartest option. As you get charms and const exp. Though it's pretty risky(One miss click at the wrong time can mean death), and costly. Plankmake would be the most economical, it's pretty fast and not 'very' expensive. But, it gives you carpal tunnel =S And lastly, stringing jewelry would be the most costly, but the most AFKable. I did 91 - 94 mage a few weeks ago and it cost me roughly 8M.

First off, woodcutting is a terrible source of income. You'd be much better off training your combats up a bit then going green dragons. If you still want to woodcut, then i would say no. Unless you plan on selling it back after you're done. In which case, go for it.

To me, furys are staple assets. I bought them before on 3 different accounts, and never sold them again(Except on one, but that was only because i was making it a F2P with no plans on making it member's again). To be honest, furys are were they belong now. I would gladly put down 20M for one if i had it to spare. As others have said, as long as Jagex doesn't change anything, they're just going to keep going up. You should have kept it. I would suggest trying to buy it back right away. But then again, that's just me.

Increased amount of lag since graphics update.
HexiledRazz replied to HexiledRazz's topic in Help and Advice
Yeah, I'm running on lowest detail. And i've restarted, run a defrag on my system, and virus scan. Nothing really out of the ordinary. Though, this all started happening about a week ago when my dad messed with my computer. I was lagging quite a bit, but not enough to make it un-playable. It only got *really* bad recently with the new updates. He installed a new antivirus software. And the software had a registry error checking feature. So, he ran it and it came back with like 621 or some odd number of errors. And he said it fixed them. Could the program have messed with something it wasn't suppose to, causing me to lag? Edit, just found this out last night: I've discovered a temporary solution: Swiftkit. It pains me to say so, but Firefox is part of the problem. I still get quite a bit of lag, although it's like the gamescreen in swiftkit 'refreshens'(or so to speak) more often. Allowing me to actually click and still control my character, though just though a increased amount of lag. Though with firefox, my screen would just lock up and black out(Swiftkit will still black out, though not as easily). -
Okay, so since they updated the graphics, i have hardly been able to log into the game. I'll log into the account screen, click on a world and it'll ether lag me out to the login screen, or completely blackscreen me(Another problem i've had for about a year, where my screen will randomly turn black during loading screens, or in places with a lot of people. Forcing me to refreshen the page. Though it's been happening a lot more with this update.) Even if i do manage to get into the game, it's incredibly laggy. To the point where i get black screened after my game screen locks up for 3 - 5 mins. I did manage to log into the game once without lag, but that was only for about 10 mins. then it lagged me out again. And I'm still on the minimal settings, not even the recommended ones. I'm really hurting for a solution for this. Because I'm seriously considering quitting due to this crap. It's impossible to even to do some simple skilling(Like fletching or fishing) with this problem. I know what i really need to do it reformat my computer. Though it's a computer i bought on Ebay years ago, and didn't come with a OP disk. On top of that, the serial code is scratched off. So i can't ask Dell/Windows for a new disk. I would have to buy a new OP, which would be sorta useless. I would be better off just saving and getting a whole new computer.

To be honest, chaotic weapons are quite a indulgence for slayer. Considering how much you have to pay every 10 hours. If i had the level and tokens, i would get the longsword. As i would only use it for PvP minigames and boss hunting. Where the longsword is more useful. (This also, is coming from someone without maxed melees, turmoil, or overloads)

I did use one a while ago. But that was only because it was included with swiftkit and easy to access while playing RS. I had a lot of funny moments there, and the people in the chat were just overall cool people. But since i don't use swiftkit anymore, i don't access the chat. So i vote rarely.

First off, i only have about 3 other people on my friend's list aside from my other accounts(So i don't forget their username, as i have a lot of them). Of these 3 people on my friend's list, one i met while doing BA on my zerker. He was very fun to talk to, but for some reason just stopped signing on for months. He did sign on for about a day, but then signed back off and hasn't signed on again to this day. The other is the person who showed me RS. Though she quit about 2 years ago, and i haven't talked to her in real life for a while because she moved. Although i leave her their for honor. The last one on my friend's list is the only one i really talk to. My IRL friend who i brought to RS. And he can only really play when he comes out to my house due to the fact that he doesn't have internet. So it's not like we really need to PM each other. As you can tell by this, I'm not incredibly social. Most people that i do end up adding, i don't talk to often and just end up removing them. Only people i really talk to are people in the hyt clan chat. The reason i have private set to off is because i did get spammed on a regular basses when i had it on. "Lend me Bcp?" "Can i barrow tassets?" "Barrow me claws?" "Sell Dfs? I have good offer." Once i turned my private to friends though, this died down a lot. I think it's just the fact that people don't want to follow me then ask me in public. For the sake of saving themselves from being called a noob by bystanders(I have seen it happen). In closing, if someone wants me to add them, all they have to do is ask. I'll gladly add them. Though sometimes i did add people on my zerker. And the next day they kept prodding at me to lend them claws. Thus i just remove them. So basically, the ability to eliminate that annoyance is there. So i take it.

I strung jewelery 91 - 94. It was pretty costly, at 9M. Though it was pretty fast. The wisest would be to burst rock lobsters. This will give you some tasty const exp, and charms for summoning. Though it will be very costly without battle robes and a SoL. The cheaper would be alching while growing herbs. You'll lose hardly anything. Though it'll take a long time. And lastly, the most mind grueling would be plankmaking. Requires a huge amount of clicking, doesn't cost *that* much, and has a decent exp/hr turn out. I did it for a hour and couldn't stand it.

Well as i posted before, I'd suggest the rune pure. Though a range tank comes in very close 2nd. Because they basically have the same abilities as a rune/zerker pure. Depends if you're looking at a 40 def range tank or a 70/75 one.

I agree with Bad. Since you're most likely not going to use your shield slot, you should go with a 2H weapon(I'll talk about 2H swords too because it might apply to other people reading this thread). I'm honestly debating between the maul and 2H sword myself on my Zerker pure. They both seem to have similar stats, with the maul having slightly higher ones. But the 2H sword has crush and slash options, which allows for more flexible exploiting of weaknesses. But since my Zerker has the ability to use a tier 9 maul, while he could only use a tier 8 2H sword(Due to the maul only needing strength, and the 2H sword needing attack) it would be best for me to get him a maul. But all in all, i hear a lot more people say that the maul is better. And that it's monstrous attack bonus overides most resistances. I'm not sure how true that is, but it's the word that has been going around.

Time to go on a epic zerker pure supporting rant :D Not really. Anyway, i actually would recommend just training a main. Unless you're making a pure for the same reason i made mine: Out of boredom and wanting to experiment... First off, zerkers are pretty good all around. They're what just steps over the line into high str bonuses. Max str bonus that Zerkers can get(Excluding corrupt ancient equipment) is +43 without a weapon or shield. Opposed to the +32 of prossy pures(30 def, the pure right under the zerker). Plus they can utilize dragonhide bodies, void knight armor, the vengeance spell, and even turmoil at high levels. I personally support zerkers myself. As i have one myself, and am pretty proud of it. Next up would be the Barrows tank. With 70 or 75 def(depends if you want to use a dfs). Pretty good, not much more of a str bonus over the zerker pure, but their barrows equipment gives them a great advantage in a lot of safe PvP minigames(Or high risking in bounty hunter). Plus they can use bandos too. Which is a nice convenience. All in all, training a main would be the best in the long run. But i need to learn to follow my own advice =P

Oh, yes. I'm sorry XD *facedesk* 'Sir' has become a common attachment for me, regardless of gender >.>

The icon is essentially a placeholder for your previous username. The longer you've had the username you changed it from, the longer the icon will be there. I am guessing this applies to when you change it from your original sign in name too. Because i've had my main for roughly 4 years and my icon stayed for a solid 4 months when i changed it.

Sadly, no. You'll have to right-click.

I agree. The rouge's den is a lot more social. I actually had a lot of fun getting cooking levels there before. Sometimes you get to see noob fights too ^.^
-
I agree with everyone else. Instead of buying useless 99 capes, i would buy some useful 90s. Such as 95 prayer and 92 herblore. Jesus if i had your resources i would go for 95 prayer in a heartbeat =\

I know, i got SO pissed when i first fought this boss. What i do now is take a turn to take the crystals, then the next turn i drop a gatestone in front of one of the lodestones, then stand at the other one before the rocks fall.
