Decoding the chaos elemental!
Firstly, the first one contains the message about Ralvash, who we now know is a Mahjarrat. Also the second message contains information about the "Mahjarrat Meeting" which the time has almost come for. To me it sounds like "muspah" is another name for "Mahjarrat", since it talks about waking them. Azzandra also talks about the Mahjarrat entering a death sleep for long periods of time. The "sleeps with the fishies, if fishies frozen could be" phrase from the first message could mean that some of them are sleeping in a death sleep frozen in some ice. Or perhaps frozen in time. "Ralvash was last, who is next? Me? You? No, we're not one of them." Ralvash was the last Mahjarrat to die, but who is the next one to die? Not me or you, since we are not one of the Mahjarrat. But Lucien is. "one day it's almost time for a shadow to shift - and a shadow to open its unblinking, empty eye." More conclusive evidence that perhaps the other Mahjarrat are meeting to rise Zaros from his grave, but for what purpose? PS. Its a silly theory but what if "Watch those scopes and learn what you can before it occurs." refers to the Wise Old Man. What if the WOM is actually a Mahjarrat? They are not all accounted for and he certainly has the power of one, and the motives, eg. the Desire to find the Stone of Jas. (Eye of Saradomin which the Runecrafting Guild is doing research on.) Just a wild theory tho. It seems some people are arguing about waking the Muspah; but it seems illogical to me that the Mahjarrat, who are putting themselves in death sleep would wake them up again. But I don't know. It could be Guthix too of course, and the sentence is spoken by a Guthixian. They're arguing if they should wake up Guthix because the Edicts of Guthix are violated. Seems to indicate the Myreque Questline, where the Edicts play a growing part. One more thing: The letter advises us (I think) to "watch our scopes", and that sentence is placed between other hints about the Mahjarrat. The Ritual is supposedly about an allignment of planets. So I think maybe we're going to be able to watch the planets with a telescope and see when they allign, in our POH's or in the Observatory.

Decoding the chaos elemental!
I now know what that refers to. It's the deserted village just outside the barrows. It's said right after talking about a new myreque quest. So the new myreque quest will probably take place mostly in that village. Very good idea there. Could be that or a new village in Morytania, maybe Darkmeyer. By the way, I saw that 'new desert quest' and 'new myreque quest' are placed right behind eachother, and I remembered an idea I had a while ago. Some sort of bridge from the desert to southern Morytania. It would certainly liven up that area. Almost no one ever goes there, except for quest, because it's so hard to reach. To conclude: Fay autocrat impugns royal, yet The avatar liberates everyone? FREE! I think this all happens after the time When stars were entertaining June...in Bennath. Take the first letter of each word (bolded) and you get: Fairy Tale (with correct capitalisation!) FREE! could mean three I think this guy here pretty much solved that one (good job btw :). Could this possibly be a hint at a new land? The line from the song Brazil has nothing to do with a fairy storyline(and to be honest i don't see what people are associating the word fey with fairy as it doesn't even come close to meaning fairy.) And just to clear that up Magzar, fey doesn't have anything to do with fairies, but it doesn't say fey, the letters says fay. And fay means fairy. EDIT: I think basically the chaos elemental is like one big information sink. Every thought or action in runescape ends up being absorbed into the chaos elemental's consciousness, but as it is a being of chaos, it can't separate then and they all get jumbled together. I feel kind of sorry for the Chaos Elemental. He has all these thoughts and feelings crazing through his head, nonstop, never one moment of silence, always noise, disorder.... chaos! And there is no-one on this planet that he can share his feelings with, because to us it sounds like a lot of rambling. He is all alone :(.

2nd April 2009 - Duel Cards & Postbag From The Hedge
As someone said before, Thammaron was an Elder Demon and a general in Zamorak's army during the God Wars. He destroyed Uzer but was gravely injured by the defending golems in the proces. He retreated to his demonic dimension, where you find his corpse centuries later during the "the Golem" Quest.

Decoding the chaos elemental!
That's what I'm thinking. Syzygy is when the Earth, Sun, and Moon (but not specifically these three heavenly bodies) are all aligned at the same instance in time, probably something akin to a solar or lunar eclipse. Ohhh darn it! Wanted to post proof but I assume it's whilst your doing the quest/mentioned in a previous postbag - General Khazard mentioned something about an alignment before and it has a connection with the Mahjarrat. "The starts are almost perfect" I seem to remember that the Mahjarrat are waiting for the planets to allign so they can perform a ritual - Maybe that slumberdeath ritual we were discussing from the last Chaos letter? And maybe Lucien has something more to say about this in WGS, I wouldn't know... :x. EDIT: This person really got the skills  Yay for new Quests! I love the Myreque storyline! \

Decoding the chaos elemental!
This obviously hints at the Fairy quests, which seems to be planned in June. From the sound of it it looks like they're working towards the finale for that series. I get the first sentence (Fairy dictator attacks royalty), but I don't get the rest. It seems June is a person, to my knowledge there is no June in RuneScape. The month Bennath is equivalent to March 19 - April 19 btw. This seems to be a very strong hint towards some sort of submarine contend. Red Raktuber = Red October, a Russian submarine from a book, movie and video game. The "flying" remarks could mean moving underwater. The fish references also point at something involving water. My first thought for that one were the penguins. Don't exactly know why, I think it was the 'red'. It's a communist colour right? And they're trying to learn how to fly. But your theory sounds more plausible to me anyway. An interesting note though: The aquatic Mogres wear Mudskipper hats (fish), and you can kill the Mogres' Giant Crabs for a Crab Helmet! Eh, maybe it helps :P. P.S. Raktuber = April 20 - May 23

2nd April 2009 - Development Diary: Dungeon Maps
I like this DD and what it's about (dungeon maps yay \ ). And more importantly it'll cool off the people ranting about how we only get one stupid DD every three months/years/whatever. The last one was kinda rubbish, but they made it up with this one. Now they only need to maintain this quality and keep pumping 'em out every other week or so.

Spirits of the Elid probelms
I think you need the ancestral key, found in Nardah (in the same house as the robes if I'm not mistaken).

Why finish them?
I think most people don't necessarily mean that a storyline should end if they want it finished, they just want a progression. I would like to see the Elves storyline finished, but rather after four more epic quests than only one.

The True World Map? Post your findings! [Updated 2014]
Awesome idea, anyone who has multiple monitors are wholeheartedly welcomed to this thread  . (I don't :( ) I have tried that actually, when I was on a holiday and stayed at someone else's place. The RuneScape screen didn't go all the way from the far left to far right. It stretched to a certain point, after that it centered between both monitors :(. Good thinking though .

26th March 2009 - Development Diary
A bit on the short side imo, but it won't matter as much if they start pumping out these things every week or so. As long as they come out more often than the last couple of DD's :? .

The lost city: Arposandra
... I have no idea what you are talking about. When I encounter a fault in another man's thread I point it out and offer the solution, so the flaw may be corrected. If that's what you call "attacking"... But I have no grudge against you, and if my posts make you feel attacked then I will withhold myself from posting here. Goodbye sir.

The lost city: Arposandra
Please check the thread again before you reply to what I said, and why do you attack me so much this way? I'm sorry if you feel attacked, but I got the feeling you were trying to earn easy credits without actually doing something. Everyone can visit RuneScape Wiki and read the page. I just think that if you start a topic here, you can use some/most of the Wiki, but have to contribute at least something to it (I'm not counting the time it took for you to filter out the unneeded text). And again, I'm not trying to make you feel bad, just trying to make you see what I think.

The lost city: Arposandra
Mourning's Ends Part I. ^I think it was MEII, but whatever. Spiruss, it's good that you try to start a discussion about Arposandra here on tif, but copying almost a whole page on a subject and posting it on another isn't a good way. You should write your own story and maybe come up with something new, or shouldn't create a topic at all. And even if you just copy something, then please mention that, okay? As for the Grand Library, I don't know much about that. I remember it being mentioned in one book, I think it was obtained from either Lletya of Baxtorian Falls. The manuscript said that beneath Prifddinas a huge undercity lays, with a part of it being a Grand Library containing arcane knowledge and magical secrets, all far too dangerous to fall into the wrong hands. Therefore, when Seren was forced to leave this world because of the Edicts of Guthix, she locked the Library with nine seals. The brother of Edern (whose journal you find during MEII), Iestin, researched the library and came to the conclusion tht one of the nine seals was recently broken. Nobody knows if this is true, what kind of seal it is, and wether is was you who broke it, or someone else. Some believe the seal to be Iban (which I find ridiculous, as he's... well evil, and he hasn't been around for long), others think it was the Temple of Light.

The lost city: Arposandra
Hmm, a very nice read indeed, and very educational too. Only one thing... I've seen this text before. The exact same text. This compilation of facts is directly copied from the RuneScape Wiki, page Arposandra. And I don't like that very much. The Wiki is free for all to read and copy, yes, but you did not state anywhere that this wasn't your creation. And making it seem that you were the one doing all the research is a bit low in my opinion. :| In other news, I like where this is going: This could be true, as Prifddinas (actually good spelling) is currently occupied by evil Zamorakian Elves, and Glouphrie isn't a good guy either. Besides, as stated, Arposandra is buying (Zamorakian) Chaos Dwarves from a Zamorak-worshipping Dwarf. The Grand Library, containing vast knowledge and situated beneath Prifddinas, could have helped Glouphrie to experiment with the Anima Mundi, although the library is closed with nine seals, and only one has (supposedly) been broken.

Under updated areas
There are, unfortunately, a lot of 'useless' areas. They're everywhere! Places like Nardah, Burgh de Rott and Prifddinas (although you can't really count that as a city). And as mentioned above, Dorgesh-Kaan isn't the most popular town either. What the problem is in most (if not all) of these ghost towns, is that the effort to get there is way more than the profits you get for being there. As the central RuneScape map filled with old cities like Falador and Varrock, any new towns have to be on the outer edge, like Meiyerditch, the Iceberg, etc.. And in most of the cases anything you can do in an 'outer city' is also present in a 'core city', which is less effort to reach. Therefore the outer cities are only visited for services found nowhere else, like the Blood Altar, the Dorgesh-Kaan agility Course and so on.

The Seven Wonders of the RuneScape World
But if you look at it, there are fallen pillars and clearly defined rooms and infrastructure. That means that before it was a battleground, it was a temple or building of some sort. But during the God Wars, it was destroyed. It used to be a temple yes, I think (but that's only my personal opinion) that it was some sort of Aviantese structure, but that's beside the point now. I agree with Trembrake that it's just a ruin now, and though it may have been beautiful once, now it's only rubble. I too think that Dorgesh-Kaan would be a suitable replacement. You're thinking of the geysers there I think. EDIT: An important thing to note: Prifddinas is occupied by evil Elves, while the good ones are locked out!

Jagex reaches out to Tip.It Discussion
Or does it? Quoting the closest relevant post... [hide=]The ones I know... Misplacedme, Lightning, Allbogs, Oddfaery2 (ok, maybe not), Kiara kat Others, there are a couple I think might be related. I missed maybe 3 of the people in there.[/hide] Wow  Well, now I've seen this I'm not really sceptic anymore. Kinda funny really, and nice of Jagex to include us Tipiters in our beloved game :). The army of Tipit npc/autoers will prevail!

Hippodo 3113: RuneScape's Official Historian... sounds good Btw, those cryptic Tipiter names hidden in Pest Control do sound a little far fetched... Does anyone have a list of the names with associated Tipiters?
