Should have taken 'Hippodo'. EDIT: Didn't know Arnold was the brother of Mr T... Although now I know I do see kind of a resemblance.

Faruq's Tools for Games 15-Jul-2009
No, lol. Then again, these things were amusing for the first 5 minutes and then I threw them away, haha. Is there a term for this? You know, when you give a child a new toy and then he loses interest in it after a few days? It's not some toy you play with if you're bored, it's to use at TET events for example.

You teleported with the MA resource locator by selecting Herblore Secondaries 1, and you're wielding it so it doesn't show in your inventory ;).

[/hide] You won't be scorpion pit for much longer. And how about Official historian? Definitely something like that, although I don't know if Tipit will let me, as I'm not part of the Crew and therefore not officially official. I do hope so though . And to Cai: why so sad face? :(

Username changes
I'd like a username change, I'm tired of those numbers behind my perfect name Luckily I have some kind of insurance: I already created the account "Hippodo", so no other would take it, and once this feature comes out, I hope I can change Hippodo into something else, and immediately whack the numbers off Hippodo 3113 :.

Interesting Wilderness Find?
Yeah that'd be cool. But other than the vampire overlords and a few other ill intented creatures there's not alot to cure. Unlike the wilderness there no reference to it ever psychically changing, it's always been swampy. Mort Myre used to be a forest instead of a swamp. Where does it say that? There references of it as a swamp as far back as the god wars and I don;t think I've seen any pre-godwars mentions of it. I've heard references that imply the Haunted Wood was a nice forest once, but nothing about Mort Myre not being, Myre/Swamp It was in a tome from the Darkness of Hallowvale quest. Hallowvale used to be a woody place with an Icyene queen in what is now Castle Draken. When the vampyres arrived, the land became corrupted. It is also implied that the fate of Misthalin will be the same of Morytania (Hallowvale) if the vampyre overlords and their minions breach Paterdomus. In one quest, two werewolves escaped Morytania and attacked you. [/hide] Hallowvale is not mort myre though. Hippo mentioned Mort Myre referred to as being a forest and he tends to be epically good at his history of rs, though I am pretty good too so we do sometimes prove the other slightly wrong. I think using your reference to Hallowvale you're thinking of Morytanina in general, this is very specific to Mort Myre. Equally the Haunted wood ajoins to Hallowvale whihc suggest tht it is the forest tht tome refers to. Plus I forgot to mention before swamp and corrupt don;t go hand in hand, after all lumbridge swamp isn't corrupt. You have a point Paw Claw. I've been searching through the tomes Serephurus was talking about, and found this: This at least confirms Morytania used to be a whole lot healthier. It still doesn't say anything about Mort Myre existing back then, I agree. But I distinctly remember reading a piece of text about Mort Myre once being a lush forest, and that it was corrupted to a dirty swamp. Something to do with Drakan temporarily raising the sea to flood the land. And I know it doesn't count for much, but the RuneScape Wiki agrees with me . To summarize it, I can't find much about it in any book or tome regarding Morytania I remember. Maybe later today or tomorrow I will reread the dialogue of every Myreque Quest, and see if they mention it there. I should be able to find them on YouTube. EDIT: It could also be in a letter from the Postbag...

Interesting Wilderness Find?
What do you mean? I don't think old wilderness went past the shores, and other parts of gelinor would be parts of zaros's former empire. Off topic kinda but I believe zaros's empire stretched on further than we may think,I remember seeing a zarosian grave in ape atoll of all places. :o :ohnoes: That's just a fault of Jagex, unless (and this is very unlikely) a group of Zarosians made it all the way to Ape Atoll and buried someone, or those monkeys are Zarosian. Which isn't true, as they worship Marimbo.

Interesting Wilderness Find?
I think those trees with three or four leaves on 'em have been there the whole time, but it's a neat idea though. I've always liked the idea of 'curing' Morytania from its evils, and see it returning to its former glory.

10th July 2009 - The Jagex Anti-Hijack System and DevBlog
This. Apart from English not being my mother tongue, I'm not really into IT or hardcore computer stuff, so it's all a bit abracadabra for me. Ah well, it sounded like an improvement, so I'm happy :.

Maybe its an improved barrelchest that's coming with a new pirate storyline quest. Wrong Wrong I believe that's a Water Troll, saw it at a Java meeting or something, it was in one of the RS animation videos. Right Just wanted to know if it was known, before I start posting links and stuff. It is indeed a Water Troll, seen at a Java convention where Mark Gerhard was interviewed. Interview can be seen here: http://channelsun.sun.com/video/chapter+1+-+james+gosling's+toy+show/25466436001

Tip.It Times: 5 July 2009
Unlike most people here I always read the fictional pieces, I think they're the most fun of all. The rest is nice too of course, but the fiction is pure entertainment . Nicely written too Zonorhc, two thumbs up!

Dragon X Bow?
As the name of the bar is the "Poison Arrow", I think it's just a red bow with an arrow on it, with some fancy fire around it. Not a crossbow... Now, instead of discussing the Dragon crossbow, lets talk about the front side of this fair lady ;) :

The True World Map? Post your findings! [Updated 2014]
Hmm, this doesn't show up on the map we have, very interesting. By the way, I've found something new too. Due south of the Shadow Dungeon (from Desert Treasure), areas from Temple Trekking/Burgh de Rott Ramble can be seen. Haven't taken a screenie yet, as I wanted to do the fight first  .

22nd June 2009 - Extended Agility Courses & Patch Notes
Hmm... Maybe try the translation book you get during "The Grand Tree"? Gnomish: Gal prit equa! Aluft doogle sen smai! Human: All with equa! Aluft doogle sen smai! Equa leaves are an ingredient used in all Gnomish food. Aluft is the name of the cook, and doogle is (as stated above) a seasoning herb, found due west of Varrock. The words "sen" and "smai" are unknown.
