It's not too much work. Not any more work than it should be any way. The harder it is to convince the girl your the better/best option, the more worthy of a relationship that girl is. but I'm not exactly looking for a relationship at the moment anyway. If it happens, it happens. but right now I want two things: 1) work on my networking skills, and 2) find a girl to just date. Not nesesarily seriously. Just to go out with, hook up with, have fun with. That sorta thing. If it gets serious? great! but I'm just lookign for a girl at the moment. And I will of course report back here with any progress I make, and the results of any given method I use

point taken, but I've tried a completely different way, back in the winter while single. Didn't work. Basically I would have conversattions with people, that were really loud, and would hopefully attract other's to join it, from being interesting. That much worked, but I couldn't quite find a way to turn it from a friendly group discussion, to anything along the lines of closing. If the conversation starts out too friendly, I can't shake the feeling that I'll land in the friendzone. But at the same time, I wasn't trying very hard to close, I was just haivng fun. Gained me lots of friends. So there was one upside to it. Did nothing for me regarding finding a new 'lady friend' though. I'm not sure if it was the setting, or the topics, but it was very very hard to build attraction. I feel like I need to go into the situation knowing what I'm doing, with a motive or a "mission" to properly build attraction. Going into it improv, will only land me friends. Theoretically. I guess it could have used more testing, but in 2 months it only yielded friends, so I've kinda ditched the idea.

romy's method isn't too far off from what I was working on. I suppose there's no shame on revealing trade secrets on here, so I'll be as specific as possible. I've been working on situation ignitions from cold starts. One of my friends has gotten oddly good at it, but I've yet to get anything out of him other than encouragement to try. Anywho, my version looks something like this: 1) Look your best [and peacock] 2) find a clipboard, a marker, and two different tpyes of cologne bottles 3) apply one cologne to yourself 4) go to mall 5) ask groups of the female persuasion their opinion on the bottle of cologne you didn't use 6) pretend to care what they have to say about it's smell, and mark it on a tally sheet 7) ask if they prefer the way you smell (gets them in nice and close, plus smell is one of the largest erotic triggers) 8) gauge opinion, if poisitve, proceed to 9. if not, continue pretending to care about your survey and wish them fairwell 9) compliment them [prefereablly a neg to the 'target' girl, while simply being nice to any of her friends] 10) tell random interesting story, that may or may not reate to the clothing you are wearing, or they are wearing 11) smile, and look directly into 'target' 's eyes 12) realize that you've never exchanged names, and do so in a funny manner [possibly make a guessing game out of it?] 13) [needs number closer, possibly relating to "survey information"] 14) move on to new group as soon as possible how was that? took some hard thinking, but I think it's getting there. I have another method in mind, but it would only work at cultural gatherings, like art festivals.

Gftog indeed. First i need to find the "og" part of it. We had "relations" on a bus, then she said that she's barring me from sexual contact, in return she won't have sexual contact with anyone else. Tough decision. i know you guys are gonna say "who cares what she does", but i care. I care a lot. So I went with it. So...now she's not my "ex" anymore. She's my ex. no quotations. I'm sure we'll still hook up, but it won't be sexual anymore. Which sucks. But, I guess its better than hre running off with her new guy. Although, there's always the chance she'll so it anyway. I guess it's time to find a new chick. First I need a job, seeing as how she drained me of every penny to my name :/. I'm upset, sure. But I feel like if I found a new girl, it'd turn out alright. There's no way in hell you'd get turned down, so a simple "hey...want to be my prom date?" would suffice. but you're friend's idea is much classier. Go with his phrasing.

Most girls won't make the first move so I wouldn't hold my breath. Why does it matter though? I still don't get why people hook up in the movies There's something attractive about paying 20 bucks to make out in public, I guess. psh? i don't get out of bed for making out in public anymore. I collected pokemon cards. the card game sucked, but the cards were fun as anything to collect. until there were more than 150, then I kinda gave up. UD's initial downfall scared me, but at that point I was already losing interest in yu-gi-oh anyway. But now I see it as an oppurtunity to get awesome cards easily. Which made the game fun again. Especially with all these next-gen cards that are rediculously overpowered.

...and how long ago was that? I remember there being one too, but I also remember after a few pages it go hijacked into a thread discussing how much better Pokemon cards were to any other trading card game. If I recall correctly. i rememebr getting owned when I claimed my Mirror Force was worth $60. So obviously, we weren't talking about Magic very long.
