This. I never bothered collecting considering they released a new 124 like every month for a good 3 years. Wasn't gonna happen. I'm a deck builder, and I occasionally go to local tournaments, and frequently host my own "unofficial" ones. It's a shame what happened to the company, but it actually made my life easier.

Paedophile is the correct way of spelling it. Pedophile is the American way. Actually, it's spelled 'pædophile'. OT: I also learned that the Romans, Saxons, and Norse used the æ symbol. This would normally be useless information, but we had a huge argument over it on another section of this forum. Oh lord, how long did that debate go on for? Complete waste of like 6 pages lol. But I guess we all did learn something, so it's not all bad. For the record, I'm American. I just think it's funny to spell things all British to confuse others. Remember the "Norway rocks" argument? Nu-uh! Cause I'm from Norway, the greatest region to ever exist in the history of the Earth, and I am always right. I know things about my heritage, no matter what wikipedia might say! what happened to that super self improvement attitude you posted a few pages back? Don't give up on that. Sounds like you could use the morale boost. Don't sweat the numbness, or you're pesky social associates. Life is a game, enjoy it, cause no one gets out alive anyway. lighten up, have some fun. Sometimes "douchey friends" is a symptom of being too judgemental. Or condescending. Which for a while, I had problems with. i feel like I've gotten better, but I still do it from time to time. it's just an idiosyncracy of mine that people have to deal with. When they don't deal with it, it makes them act "douchey". But sometimes you have to reaize and take responsibility for the fact that it's not always their problem. You could be inadvertantly antagonizing them into such behavior. But hey. Tell you what. This summer. Do your self improvement thing. Come back next semester a new person, with anew leaf and all that jazz. Show the world who's boss, and make some new friends. You don't have to get rid of your old ones if you don't want, but make some new ones just to give it a go. No shame in socialization. The numbness will go away when you become more satisfied with yourself. Trust me.

Pretty much everything in this post is happening to me, except the "numb" feeling goes away now and then when I get random bursts of confidence. Wait... why do I get random bursts of confidence? I rmemeber IamDan had a very similiar post a few months ago. I think we've all been there, but eventually we progress to be more like Lent. Which is awesome in most ways. I could elaborate, but honeslty Lent's post pretty much covered it. All iI can add is that you're not alone, and it's aparently a rather common occurance. I call it "evolution of the geek". We go from the made fun of depressed type, to the numb type, to the I am the [bleep]ing man type. And that's a good direction to go as far as I'm concerned :thumbup:

depends on how you do it. You have to maintain their interest. If you lose that, you just become boring. If your good at it, it can be very attrcative for whatever hormonal reason.

tbh, I care. I'm pretty pro Israel, but it comes with the territory of my ethnicity. Bias comments are often criticized ones, and this thread was more or less killed after the first response. Shame. Palistineans are often misinformed and come off as ignorant, intollerant and almost terroristlike. But from their side, the Isrealites are not held in much higher regard. but I'm rootin' for the good ol' Isrealites. But again - bias.

I believe this qualifies as OWNED. To be honest we should probably have a sub-forum/topic specifically for news. Good idea. I respectfully disagree. Dividing shock news/legit nwes from OT would divide the very population of the OffTopic we all know and love. Besides...wouldn't that imply making a subforum for religion? or drugs? or civil rights? or random youtube links? Leave OT the way it is. It's nice and neat, and all in one place.

That translates to "ask again later". I highly recommend taking Lent's route in more or less forcing her into a decision. Lols, you don't even notice. It's not like our teeth are rotting and our breath smells horrible. Maybe some, but not me. eh, I'm fairly good at being able to tell. Unbrushed teeth have a different glimmer to them, and are often more shiny than brushed teeth. I just really hate it when people tell me they only do it once a day. I gag a little every time.

Twice a day baby, 3 times if I'm going out to meet people. I can't stand not having my mouth feel like it's been sterilized. It bothers me, to almost an OCD extent. It also skeeves me out when people are okay with brushing any less than twice a day. No offense t those of you who do - but EEEEWWWWW. Grosses me out. But despite my fixation, I rarely stray away from my generic brand toothpaste. Aim anyone?
