  1. I don't see that big of a use. I'll probably stick to my name or simply change it to Eye for Wit, my secondary account name.
  2. No, he had 1.2b in ranarrs. It was only a few hundred k of the actual item. The there is a link on the grand exchange section to the most traded item page... it isn't hard.
  3. Pshh I only have power over the website and a select few subforums, so I couldn't have changed the title. You could pm a moderator and ask for it to be changed back. I'm thinking that "How many?" was too vague for a mod's liking.
  4. 80 slay! Oh, and I purposely chose not to crop so I could show off the hot operating system on my new(ish) laptop  [hide=80 slay][/hide]
  5. It was made by Duke Freedom. Let me find it. And his forum name was "Trojann2," but he was a well-known DK'er, not a merchant. Edit: I found it... remember that pretty much everything he talks about is now obsolete... http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?times=6
  6. The best way would be to poll about 100 scapers (but the larger the sample size, the better) and ask how much of the item they have and how much they have traded today. For example, I have 11000 nature runes and have not traded any, but my friend sold 3000 today and no longer has any. If you add up all of that and find that, in total, 115k nature runes are held by 100 people, and 11.5k were traded (these are completely made-up numbers), you can make the educated guess that about 209.8m (amount traded) * (115k/11.5k), or 2.098 billion nature runes exist. Note that I completely made these numbers up (except for the amount traded today), and they don't reflect anything.
  7. As d jay said above me, as long as you aren't doing solid running in heavy armor (which you shouldn't be doing), they are useless. I happened to have around a thousand of them when the price plummeted, but oh well.
  8. I have absolutely no idea why people pay to wear partyhats. They don't even look good, and I rarely wear mine. However, it sure makes for a good way to get rid of junk whenever I build some up
  9. The real loser is the one who harasses another for following his/her passions.
  10. Keep the dark dagger from Legends. It's a hassle to drop one and juggle them while you kill the boss, but it's pretty awesome.
  11. This makes me want to train slayer. Hellhounds - mainly gold charms (pretty much useless), no item drops Steel Dragons - as said before, not enough (due mainly to campers), very high defence, and a pain to get to Black Dragons - only quick if you kill the babies, in which case there are no item drops (see hellhounds) Gargoyles - the rock hammer thing is annoying; not cannonable; I have done 4 tasks (still without a granite maul) and am angry at them now
  12. In-game prizes would be cooler. But still, it's a cool idea they have.
  13. Fixed, as well as corrected some more wording for the crystal shield. Thank you!
  14. I have added the following to all 3 karamja glove types: "Note that, although the gloves are not circled in white in the "Items kept on death" screen, they are always lost upon death"
  15. HD slightly increases loading times, which voids the argument that HD actually improves runecrafting. At least, that is my personal experience.
  16. Items expected to crash rarely crash as much as expected, and those expected to rise do the same. I doubt there will be any big impact on the raw material market simply due to seasonal change.
  17. She debunked that one herself. Unless she is in denial...
  18. It's another "Who went to runescape.com first?" contest. "Old school" talk gets old pretty quickly.
  19. An idea as to how hard it is to purchase an edible on the GE: I placed three disk offers within 30 seconds of the update. Three days later, disks updated again. None of the offers were filled.
  20. What? Maybe it's because I cleared my rs cookies since last playing.
  21. They won't take my question again. They kind-of skirted around the answer to my question last time. Cool.
  22. I missed it also, which is why I bumped it from the second page when I noticed the update on the RS main page. I think another point is that with community leaders, they can see a more substantial contribution to the community than simply by reports, so they know they're getting a good person for the job.
  23. I have always thought it was a great idea to pick player moderators based on community performance, not simply reports. Good move, Jagex.
  24. On a side note, the message is grammatically incorrect. There should be a semicolon or period instead of the comma.
  25. I recognize all those old signatures and avatars... lots of them were friends of mine. Threads like this just give me a nostalgia trip. People are forgotten if they don't keep up their work, as new people surpass them. There's nothing more to it.
