I couldn't stand being a pure skiller. Sure I skill sometime, but combat is definitely my favourite part of RS - this includes monsterhunting, pking, slaying, minigames etc.

You could train on controlled with whip, as this have been shown to be more effective if your long-term goal is maxed melee. Of course, this will take some patience, as the exp will go up slower.

Agreed. I don't see the fun in grinding for hours to get a piece of armour or be able to complete my slayer task getting 2nds, herbs, food etc.

May I suggest you piety waterfiended it? With void. You will make a slight profit :P And it's still very fast charms.

It'll take months if you only farm/rc. You have to get into combat @ GWD/TDS.
