I'm not talking about climate change. I'm talking about the state of chaos the world is gonna be in when the world starts to/runs out of oil. I mean imagine if there was no more oil in the world or just a tiny bit left. The fact is that, as Bush even said, America is addicted to oil. Hell the whole world is pretty much addicted to oil and without it you can expect America to start nuking countries for what little oil there might be left. Alternative energy sources might work but they still a lot more work and until they come I think the most probable way for the earth to end is when oil starts runnning low.

And most alternative energy sources still can't effectively replace oil and stil require more development.

We already have numerous alternatives to it.. they're just not as cost-efficient and/or have negative byproducts. Which means they wont replace oil when it get low and the US starts more wars over oil.

When the world's oil supply runs out and we haven't found any alternative to it.

I really don't care about voting considering I'm underage and that I've never totally liked any president. I would give up my right to vote forever for $100,000; for a $1 million I'd let a dictator have my vote.

Well as much as I'd love for it to work, theres a simple reason that it won't. The fact of life is that a ton of people don't really care about helping other people and that they would just "steal" your favor. It has also been tried before proving that as nie of an idea as it would be, it simply has to many flaws in it.

I have a perfect score at english. I can speak and understand Mandarin but suck at writing it. I'm taking spanish classes so I guess I have a score of 3.

You know, some scientists are predicting that the universe will start to shrink after it's done expanding. A few actually say it's already starting to shrink.

I've posted my thoughts about his on a similar thread but i'll post them again. I believe that there ARE most likely aliens out there. Even if the chances of it occuring on one planet is slim, the universe is too big not to have some other form of life. However, the "aliens" I do imagine to be out there will be prokaryotic cells. FYI: On Earth, prokaryotic cells are bacteria cells.

How about you look at reality? U.S, Russia, and all the other countries are never going to disarm. And if everyone does disarm, one crazy country will get power hungry and bring back nukes so they can rule the planet. However, if everyone has nukes than the chance of nuclear war is going to increase 100 fold. So this is what I believe: Only 3 or 4 most powerful countries should get nukes to maintain some balance of power and no one will launch the nukes for fear of another country getting angry and starting a nuclear war. This scenario is pretty much what it's like today so I'd just sit back and let the world have it's own way.

Yes, the theory that you can travel FORWARD in time by moving faster than the speed of light is most likely correct. I believe Albert Einstein actually supported it. I honestly do not know whether it would be possible to go back in time; I would hazard a guess at it would be impossible but I don't know for sure. But assuming you managed to go back in time, i bellieve you CANNOT change the present or future. I don't believe in any time paradox or the overly used example of being able to kill your own grandfather. First of all, there is almost no chance of you being able to even get the chance to kill your own grandfather. He could not be home, he could be on vacation, the possibilities are endless. But making another assumption, lets say you do confront him and you have a gun ready to shoot him. You know that something really bad is going to happen when you shoot him. Everyone will be telling themselves it is an EXTREMELY bad idea to shoot their grandfather because they fear a paradox, it would be morally wrong, you'd be dooming yourself, and you have absolutely no gain out of doing it so no one will actually shoot their own grandfather; thus not altering the future.

I have never experienced or witnessed an event of sleepwalking before. I never understood how someone could have the energy to walk around when they are sleeping.

The countries do tell them what happened without lying or anything (japan bombed pearl harbour, Hitler commited genocide, ect.), but they probably don't emphasize it as much...no country would say "yeah, we we killed millions of people ruthlessly just because of their religion and we deserved to lose..."

Blacks are getting "special treament" because statistics show that few blacks even graduate; not to mention going to college so if a black does do well on the SAT/PSAT than they would want to make sure they can get to college.

If people can make high definition quality movies with UFO's what makes you think they can't fake a some crappy film with a fake UFO? I believe if there are "aliens" out there they would be basic, one celled organisms as intelligent as bacteria.

To me it depends on how awesome or catchy the music is. Unfortunately for me, the more awesome a song is the less attention I pay to my homework.

I could, but that doesn't mean I'd want to. It's a gun. Takes one lucky hit to injure you pretty well before you can close in. If it's a 9mm, you can survive a few hits easily unless they puncture something major, but if it's anything bigger, you won't want to screw with it. And hey, if the guy behind the sword or dagger knows how to use it, more power to them. Anytime I'd be in a position to be mugged like that (late at night, etc.), I'm also carrying either a broadsword or a knife. Lol you carry a broadsword with you when you are walking on the streets? :shock: How do you manage to conceal it?
