  1. People are suppose to get killed by pkers when they go into the wild. Just saying. No, there are those that legitimately want to kill those that are legitimately taking a risk. However, there are players that just want an easy kill. You know the ones that lurked below level 20 ready to teleport at a moments notice attacking abyss runners. These are the same types that if they could, would camp out at Lumbridge picking off respawned and new characteres. Wait a second, wanting to kill innocent people in the wild who are not trying to fight was never suppose to be part of it? Last time i checked, rc pking, and killing anybody for the lulz was part of what made the wild the dangerous place it is SUPPOSE TO BE. I didn't know peple who rc'd using the abyss were suppose to be able to do it mindlessly without any fear of dying. I could have sworn that it was purposely designed for pkers to be part of the risk when skilling in the wild. Unlike people at lumbridge, going into the wild meant you were aware that if you weren't geared to be attacked by a pker you needed to gtfo. The current status of the wilderness as an extension of safe areas for people to rc, do their clues, or do their greater demon slayer tasks is an abomination, not how it's suppose to be.
  2. Weren't clue scrolls supposed to be challenging? Challenging, yes. Suicide, no. get stronger so its not suicide? and it was never suicide, it actually pretty uncommon to see pkers in deep wild (that weren't hotspots like MB or lever)
  3. Which is why the old wild should come back...

  5. Cursed You Oh yeah i forgot to enter that one to vote for free trade.
  6. really no wai!!!
  7. Oh, I see what they did there. but seriously i don't really think they would intentionally piss of their players just to get in the world records. Or maybe they would. Either way, the rigged poll is pretty hilarious. win win scenario. ~Jagex LTD - trolling runescape - one game breaking update at time.
  8. Considering you don't use melee at all in pvp, your attack and strength levels won't matter if you become a range tank (75 att/75 str doesn't do crap at 100+, neither does 50 att though), as long as you keep them where they are. Training def is gonna be incredibly painful for you though, as you can't even use a d scim, but otherwise in pvp you'll be fine. TBH the only way i can see you training def effectively is if you chin defensively.
  9. Hey guys, i personally think efficiency is good for the game because it creates a better atmosphere. It makes people better at the game and creates less noobs. Pvp is a waste of time because the opportunity cost lost is significant and should be spent gaining more...oh...wait a second...oh yeah...
  10. when people cried about the home teleport coming out
  11. I see what you did there.
  12. Yes, and I agree with this. I don't think it's a problem that others see it as a problem, because that's their issue. Why should I care about some random person's opinion? You can call that being selfish or arrogant, but it's the mindset of most of the adult world. At least, in the company setting. Stretching a bit: Overall, people would benefit from thinking holistically for the society, but people do not operate that way. Not that I know much about game theory, but I know that this is pretty much law as far as human nature goes. I agree. You guys need to grow up. I mean everyone in the world is arrogant and a douchbag, and as members of society you have an obligation to succumb to norms and attempt to become elitists or self centered [puncture]s yourselves. Who knows, maybe one day you'll be the person in power to be able to give people [cabbage] (or not give a [cabbage] about anyone else) :). It's a dream everyone should aspire to fulfill. Modeling bad behavior is good, because it's a time tested methodology that guarantees society progresses in a more positive way.
  13. Surprised they don't remember the time jagex screwed merch clans when they tried to merch p pots. Be funny if jagex decided to release tons of brews in the ge like they did with p pots.
  14. This. Is why generosity sucks. One thing I noticed about tipit forums is that trolling is becoming more commonplace and the sad part is that it is becoming more acceptable. On the other hand, trolling in RSOF is not permitted and the mods ACTUALLY bother to take care of it unlike the mods here. If you wanted a topic locked because you don't want it opened anymore, don't count on the mods to do it for you. I had 2 admins who never bothered to lock my topics (1 was being smart about it, too) and I remember there was one topic where people were spamming for 4 hours and the mods didn't even lock it until the topic reached 7 pages...lol. I always get this "nervous" feeling on posting my opinions because of getting flamed by a smart alec'y person. I never wanted to call tipit the "best" Runescape fansite. No, we are way far from it. I can probably tell you that from my experience, there are several fansites and even clansites that have more mature users. Heck, RSOF is even becoming more mature probably because we are too influenced by internet misdemeanors like /b/, Thanks to our freedom of posting images, gifs, and memes. u mad bro? See, this is what I'm talking about. Acctually I feel the same way as you Clif about posting, to often do I see people being cut down, so I have to make sure my post is up to scratch and often If I don't know the topic well enough I won't bother. Because the people that cut you down for being noobs say "you mad bro". To be honest the real trolls are the ones who refuse to respond to the warrants of an argument and simply go "you trolling bro".

  16. Did you just start to notice that the game became about everyone talking about how their e-peen is bigger than yours?
  17. Is the event glitched? The cook's brother is thanking me for doing the event when i haven't done it...
  18. where'd the achievement diaries go
  19. I never got why people wouldn't do dung. Even if it is a minigame, i still don't see why it's not worth doing.
  20. RWT is alive and flourishing just as well today, if not more than the past. Free trade was removed to stop the combination of Botting/RWT. (The 500 default characters you'd see at every yew tree in Runescape.) Botting and RWT are still both here and doing just fine without free trade so why not bring it back? Because of the 500 default characters at you'd see at every yew tree in runescape, and the combirnation of Botting/RWT? c wut i did dere?
  21. I created my name because...well...
  22. Just tell them to turn aid off or you run.
  23. Teamates with 99 slayer increases your chances, but it's still possible to see a soulgazer even if all of your teamates have low slayer levels.
  24. you can't even get a soulgazer doing solo. they'll only appear if you're in team.
