  1. I'd be more prepared to defend myself against a guy with a sword or dagger than someone with a gun. Simply for the fact that I'd know how to, and most people can't actually use a sword or dagger to save themselves, and just hold them because they're posers. Well I guess your right that it would depend on the person holding the sword. But what if the guy actually does know how to use a sword? You can also defend yourself against someone with a gun too.
  2. I think swords and daggers are more efficient than guns because you always go up close to rob someone anyway. You also don't have to worry about running out of bullets eithner lol.
  3. One time I got backon runescape just to hunt autoers. I lured a highwayman into the rune shop at port sarim to kill the auto buyers. But when the highway man attacked the auto, the auto started WIND STRIKING IT AND KILLING IT. WTF!!!!!! Autoers have become extremely powerfull and the only solution is to ban them.

Maybe this will cheer police haters up? I thought it was hilarious when my friend showed it to me.
  5. There still isn't a rule for that. The closest thing to that would be the rule that said " No encourageing others to break rules" and it still doesn't fit under that. So unless Jagex makes a rule saying "no lvl 3s are allowed to make money", than Jagex still cannot accuse them of breaking any rules. Of course Jagex still has the power to ban them without any reason, however from a ceartain angle it would make Jagex look extremely bad.
  6. I'm christian. And I really, really think it would be a good idea for tip.it to create a whole new section in the forums for religion.
  7. I personally despise people who abuse animals for amusement or just becasue they can and I'm pretty sure no one is going to be stupid enough to post that they like to kill or harm animals. However, it should be how extreme people are willing to go to prevent animals that we should be talking about. If you mean going as far as not to kill insects or get rid of rats in your house than thats to extreme. The only thing I consider abuse is unessesary harms to animals...like cockfighting or that one football player that electrocuted dogs.
  8. It means what do you think of Jesus. Explain what Jesus means to you, whether you believe in him or not, or do you even believe in any religion. Since people have millions of different opinions about religions, as long as you explain your opinions you should do fine.
  9. I thought slayer was easier because I always trained combat with slayer. I hated farming though because I thought it was the most boring skill in runescape and costly...my herblore was even higher than farming and most players say herblore is the hardest/costliest skill
  10. Actually, JagEx can do whatever the hell they want, its their game. Maybe your suggesting they shouldn't, but the EULA (End User License Agreement) you signed to play the game says that they can if they feel like it. See, if you read the EULA you find out your just renting the account per see. JagEx actually owns your account and everything in it, so they can tell you your not allowed to sell it to somebody else, just like you cant sell a car with a lease on it without the bank's/dealers permission. The reason for this is simple. In the real world, if you give/sell someone something there are no take backs. It would be theft to take a gold farmers account if they owned it, but JagEx owns it and has dictated the terms under which they may use it. But if you rent it to them (which is what JagEx is doing), you can take it back whenever the conditions of the license are violated. If they conditions are not violated you cannot take it back, but as soon as they are you can legally take it. Of course they can ban them legally without any reason, however they wouldn't be able to accuse them of breaking any rules making jagex seem a little hypocritical since jagex banned a player when technically they were never breaking any rules (Jagex said they would always have proof of a rule broken for banning an account). And I don't like or dislike goldfarmers because not all of them work for real world item trading companies Actually, Goldfarmers are breaking the rules; Real World Trading and (possibly) interaction between accounts. They are collecting money to sell, correct? And don't Jagex specifically state in their rules that it is illegal to trade RuneScape goods for real world goods? Also, if they are gathering the GP for themselves (not to sell) then they would be giving the money to their main, which would be interaction between their accounts. So there is no hypocrisy whatsoever. And they have reason to accuse them. Here are the rules, taken from the website: The gold farmers can just collect money and give it to someone else in the company to sell to the customer. The specific gold farming account is not real world item trading and is interacting with someone elses account;thus not breaking any rules. And what about real players that do nothing but make money and does not break any rules?
  11. And you scammed them so that must mean you also like being scammed so is that acceptable?

  13. I had many friends on runescape, however the closest one's of course were the one's I knew in real life. Seeing as i'm still in touch with them, quitting runescape wasn't too big of a deal for me.
  14. I hate you for hating other people
  15. No one can possibly know wheter Jagex cares about the players and the game or if they are just a company that wants to make money. F2p is simply a way to make players join members...thats why it has almost never been updated. However my opinion is that jagex cares about player satisfaction and is not in it only for the money.
  16. I don't know wheter to laugh, be horrified at the pain, be happy, or feel angry at the stupidity. I think I'll just go with sitting dumfounded.
  17. What's unhealthy about wanting to preserve the planet? Whats unhealthy is overdoing it. Yes, because perfectly clean air and clear rivers are going to destroy us all. There's nothing bad about clean air and clear rivers. Yet in ALL of the existance of humanity YOU WILL NEVER have perfectly clean air, which serves a problem to Al Gore. Perfectly clean air? You think Al Gore was ACTUALLY gonna follow up his promise and make clean air? Yeah, clear rivers are gonna destroy us all, because if noone dumps their crap in rivers, where is it gonna go? What overdoing it means is that he is putting a cleaner enviroment over other more important things.
  18. lol...well i guess they are called extremeists for a reason right?
  19. Every company does what it sees best. If jagex wants to focus on lower level players than so be it. It's not like higher level players (including those on the front page) have nothing else to do.
  20. Revenge often turns you into the person that you despise. I do not expect people to forgive everything done to them, however I do expect people not to be stupid or arrogant enough to take revenge. Most of the worst crimes commited today are done in revenge. I would always find an alternative other than revenge.
  21. Jagex can't do anything about the gold farmers. The gold farmers aren't even against the rules. Macros are against the rules however gold farmers ,although they are where real world trading companies get the runescape cash from, are still controlled by real people so jagex cannot ban gold farmers.
  22. I never did anyhting about them because I don't get annoyed by pixels in my computer.
  23. It never mattered to me as I had very good defence against magic and knew every way possible about how not to get killed rc pking.
  24. It took me 4 hours to complete all the f2p quests...it wasn't much of an achievements
  25. 1st point: The game is suppose to be 13+. The kids below that age simply lie about their age. 2nd point: Creating more violence and profanity isn't going to make all the younger kids go away. All it will do is maybe get some parents get mad at jagex and upset many people (including me if I stil played) that are ages 13 and older that liked the peaceful version of runescape. 3rd point: I was 12 when I started playing...no one ever thought I was obnoxious or complained about me. There are many mature kids below age 13. 4th point: It's not just kids below 8 years old that are obnoxious and call people noobs, many people and even adults are jerks on runescape too.
