  1. thanks :) True, i don't have any skills that are extremely high, although my strength / wc / fishing don't look too shabby. :P I don't want to go for any 99's for now, it's not my style. I'll go for some eventually (and no, not the "easy" ones... i want an untrimmed cape that isn't often seen untrimmed). Yes, all skills 70+ is my next goal (with of course all at 65 inbetween). I have quite a bit of cash lying around, and i'm well stocked up for a few skills, so rc will be paying for the rest of them without a dent in my pocket ;) All it takes is time... Hopefully by the time i've been playing for a year i'll be there or very close.
  2. title says it all? :) Got 60 RC today, which was my last skill under 60. Been playing for around 9 months 8-) So excited i simply had to share ^_^
  3. 1650 total, so bumping this up Loving the slow start to the support and random chit chat on this thread btw.... :P
  4. bumping this up before i go to school - daily happenings from yesterday updated.
  5. Long post much? I still read through the majority of it anyway, fun read :) Good luck with the 99 prayer, it's one of the emotes i like more. Very nice stats for 1 year of playing.
  6. grats on getting the 82 mining, only 3 more to go \ Going to try and get the levels in 2 days by nolifing, or get it over the weekend instead? :? Try not to burnout / die from RSI. :P
  7. grats on the 85 mining! Very nice level to achieve :D
  8. grats on the construction level, very snazzy
  9. Considering i'm not on the first two pages, seems like a good time to bump this up. Added the Daily Happenings section, where i'll post level-ups and other random stuff.:)
  10. Of course i can do it, it's just a matter of taking the time to do it. Journey is much more fun than the reward. :P
  11. I did fly fishing to 83, nice and fast ^_^ Good luck with your goals, i support of course ^_^ grats on 78 fishing of course, keep it up ;)
  12. My first RS Blog :) So first, a bit about me..... 16 years old, Australian, year 12 (hsc year). I love raising my total level, and training skills in general. Hey, combat is a skill too! ;) I've been playing ~9 months or so, and here are my current stats: Stats at time of thread creation are further down :) My only goals are skill goals - cash isn't a goal, only a means to an end, and rares aren't on my to-get list. I'm very close to all skills above 60, after which i want all above 65, and then 70. :) Which brings me to.... [hide=My Goals] Yes, 2000. I'm really going for 2,277, or whatever maximum total is by the time i get near it, but 2,000 is far enough away for it to be a very long term goal. ;) Just a level i want, nothing special about it. This gets me all skills over 60 - fairly short term goal. After which I'll change this to 65 Faster energy regeneration is always handy - will get this at Ape Atoll Nothing special about this either, but i want it. Yet another skill i want at 70 - green dhide bodies all the way :) I want 85 in the long term, but 70 for now will suit me just fine :P Not one of my favorite skills, good to do when not paying much attention though. Will be doing Mithril arrowheads mostly for this. Have this banked, just a matter of getting around to it. Herb seeds and trees all the way - this is such a slow skill i try to make it habit to do first thing and last thing each day - generally planting fresh herbs a few times throughout the day for the extra cash I can just feel that guilded altar taunting me.... my house is only for skilling, not pretty at all. Get tasks in shilo, this gets me most of my hp exp. Hunter is too repetitive IMHO.... can be fun though. Want to get it up regardless[/hide] I think it makes more sense to post my starter skills at time of thread creation at the bottom of my post? [hide=Starter Stats] [/hide] Do you really need to see pictures of my level ups? You've seen all those pictures before. :P Might post links to a few recent / important ones eventually - not for now though. [hide=Daily Happenings] [hide=May][hide=May 4th]1650 total level today, thanks to a mage, fletch, and mining level Got near 68 crafting banked, once i have it banked i'll be going for that.[/hide] [hide=May 3rd]Went from 63 to 65 crafting today, got over 1k alchs done, as well as allot of fletching. Should get fletch + mage level tomorrow without too much real world invasions[/hide] [hide=May 2nd]81 WC today, very happy with it. Made loads of potions - need to sell heaps of potions and random junk to fund other skills now.[/hide][/hide] [/hide] Support, posts, random spam, cookies, words of advice, hugs, all responses welcome :o
  13. a bit over 6 mill.... i have a habit of spending my cash on skills. :P
  14. just a simple cypher, and some of that characters are similar to english, plus you got a massive help with the sender and recipient ;) still nice to see someone else doing it though ^_^
  15. I don't really see it as a problem... i'll go onto german worlds if i want peace and quiet :) i barely know any german (only did it for one year) but it's enough for basic things. if i need to read something i'll generally play on an english server. Other european languages would be nice too...... thelo ellinika :o
  16. skilling wins easily, levelling up while chatting with friends is great fun :)
  17. got to love some of the ad's they do illustrating the rules :) i want to see one that warns against macro'ing, not that the people doing it would ever see it :(
  18. At my high-school we used to have groups, and still do even in final year, but the boundaries of these groups are so much less defined, everyone generally mingles together, we're like one big happy family. very nice post. :)
  19. I think lurers are mostly just people who are too lazy to earn what they want.... except the sadistic ones that do it just to annoy others :wall:
  20. Friendly competition with friends is a great motivator, i managed to stick with one skill for a whole week because of a clan friend :) never would have managed otherwise. music and tv are always great for monotonous tasks, as is the forums. personal goals are good motivation too, and breaking up tasks into smaller goals make them seem much more manageable
  21. I like the system we have now, where you can choose the efficiency of your chosen combat as you level (bronze armour vs strike spells vs bronze arrows with a lame bow), where you can improve as you level. Sure, melee is comparatively the cheapest long term, but i like it :)
  22. What i find interesting is that prices of yew logs have risen, despite the growing number of auto'ers  If i didn't use whatever yews i cut i'd be happy at this :P
  23. I prefer skilling, getting the items needed for most quests is just too annoying, especially with the older quests :(
  24. Yanille is a prettier town, i might do my smithing at Varrock when it gets its makeover :)
  25. Magics are better cash at your level, i'd personally prefer yews though since i'm a skiller, and yews are a nice balance of cash and exp :P
