  4. BA isn't a great update in my opinion, and the rewards aren't good for ur high lvl. hmmm besides hunter and PoH there aren't many out-of-quest updates. and yes i can read 500 words in a minute, i've been tested and i can read 562 words per min \ anyways, there haven't been any updates to really suit ur lvl, just new quests and PoH and hunter. so just work on those and good luck
  5. coins are really only worth picking up if the monster can drop 100+ a drop. otherwise don'ty waste your time
  6. i'm a fast reader... and alrite ill answer the question spottier cape and penance gloves aren't really must haves, they're only good for long trips with no tele. some things to get for your main... well do all the new high lvl quests, like dream mentor, they have good rewards like switching mage books anywhere(from dream mentor). there aren't many high lvl updates from '06 but do all the new quests and you'll have pretty much everything.
  7. you should go on help and advice...
  8. Muuuuuuuust respond. How is listening to music more worthy than playing a game? Thats literally the stupidest thing anyones ever said. For one music is not interactive, sure you can listen and do a jig or sing but you are not influencing the music, with a game, what you do matters. I'm seriously gobsmacked by this and hope its some sort of post-modernist humour. If you say you dont liek the game for whatever reason fine thats cool, but saying listening to music is something to be more PROUD of than playing a game is insanity. Maybe you don't know what pride is, im not sure. I don't care if you listen to whatever music rather than playing a game but saying one is a waste of time and the other isn't is rtarded. Never heard of someone committing suicide because they couldn't quit music. At least music can tell you about the [cabbage] that everyone faces in life and how to deal with it, unlike a game. So you'd rather be playing a game 24/7 or whatever and gain lots of weight? At least you can listen to your iPod and jog at the same time. music is something to listen to while ur doing something else. when i jog i dont listen to my iPod(i don't have 1 but i wouldn't anyways) because music is something to listen to if your bored, it also livens up whatever you are doing by making you want to do it with the songs beat. music in my opinion is not something that is fun alone, but livens up anything you are doing with it.
  9. that solves nothing lol.. I could be a 126 does that make me the best tiper? nope +1

  11. looking at the world map, the furnace in port phasmaty seems closer, since in Neitiznot you need to walk around. being one click away doesn't make it closer. anyone want to go and count squares? :P Neitiznot: 19 Squares and 1 click from bank to furnace. Port Phasmaty's: 22 Squares The World Map isn't always accurate. ~Trumpet port phasmaty's is also 1 click

  18. wow, it increases daggannoth kings drops as well... it doesn't increase chances of getting barrows stuff because the chest is affected by your kill count and number of bros. you kill, the brothers don't drop stuff and it goes into the chest, who thought up that lame idea?

  21. If you'll notice, these two guys above have been playing the game for years and years. I too have played Runescape for a great long time and yet now that I'm in a university setting I just haven't played. I probably played for about four years straight, all of high school really. As Phil said I just don't have time for Runescape anymore as there's SO much else to do (Such as work, developing marketable skills, schooling, etc.) I'd say for all of this past Spring Semester I haven't played a minute of Runescape. Just because I've got so much more things to do. But even before that I was beginning to phase out more and more as Adam said. Every time I logged off it was a longer time in between logging back on than the last time. Here's what I've got to say on quitting. Play the game for as long as you like middle school through high school, fine and dandy but if you're still playing the game the same number of hours with the same "Man I wish I were on RS right now" mentality midway through college then you truly need to reevaluate your situation. Playing once or twice for an hour a week isn't bad at all but pulling all nighters just to beat some quests isn't worth it at all during higher education. So play as much as you want to play now as middle school and high school are going to be very poor years of life (your body's changing, clique's being formed, schema's developing) but when higher education hits you'll phase out and be fine. +1 one of my friends is in his 3rd year of college now, he says the homework is so brutal that he only has time for 2 hours of rs a week. except for that party he had... he got his construction up and pulled an all nighter, but i had to go at like 9:30 p.m, he told m,,e a couple of days later that it went to 2:00 and he dropped full dragon. i told him i hated him. then he says he has to quit rs cause he never has time. i told him i loved him 8-)
  22. i quit rs once, camne back after 2 years wondering what was missing from my life. found it :

  25. I like the point raised here. Now here's a question for everyone. If Jagex made a quest req of 115 combat would that be considered fair? These players who have decided their class is solely mage or range won't be able to get that level without significant help from melee skills (thus defeating the point of combat classes). So are they playing a limited game when Jagex, by the way the game is set up, gave us combat classes and also set up the way the combat level is decided? An interesting point, but I think we're safe from a 110 combat requirement for awhile :P Honestly, I don't see why a combat requirement was needed for the quest. The only possible argument, aside from to kick low level questers in the rear, is to keep low levels safe from attempting a quest too hard for them. What kind of reason is that? No, Jagex wanted to do away with "quest pures." Of course, that said, nothing is necessarily wrong with that. Like Mod Ash pointed out, if you are determined to keep your stats low, you can expect to have to make sacrifices. a pure can still accomplish this quest if they have REALLY high prayer.... Incorrect. Prayer can not be used in the dream world. i don't remember saying that... anyway if people die doing that quest and its recommended to have 85 cb(which it isn't i know) then they would have no right to complain because the game warned them. if you complain because you can't do a quest under the recommended lvl, then :shame: however, some people could do this quest under 85 cb and therefore should be allowed to do it. skill lvls are required in quests to do something with the skill, but if a person with low cb can do that, they should be allowed.
