You sound like you're pretty in touch with all cultures, which is cool. You sound like you're quite knowledgeable too. In a way, I wish I was you. Do you wear girl's jeans?
So you were depressed? Why did you cut yourself? What did it feel like? How did you cut yourself? Do you have a hard life? Do you get upset a lot? Maybe if you elaborate it might help people be more compassionate.
It was a shame that the UK didn't get 0. That would have really hammered it home that that sort of music is abysmal. That's meant to be our representation, the foremost of our pop acts, and we send out a band aimed at 10 year olds who are trying to have another shot at fame after failing miserably last time?
Some services you pay to 'rent' the music you download. This means when you stop paying you can no longer listen to the music. I believe Napster is like this, or at least used to be. So be careful you don't get ripped off any more than you already plan to be.

It's funny to see people resorting to insults just because they can't see the other side of the coin; it is the ultimate forum irony. For the first 2 minutes of this topic I thought like everyone else, then when scn64 posted his explanation I understood it.
It's not confusing at all. Download a program, install it, enter a username (don't need to register, just enter one of your choice), then never worry about it again. In fact I can't remember if it even needs installing.
That's because whilst you were waiting to click okay it had already started downloading the file to your cache. When you finally click okay and select where to save it the cached part of the file is moved to the final location and the newly downloaded bits are appended. Because download speed is an average over time, it shows a huge amount downloaded in a short time because it's been downloading at the same speed all along, but it has only started measuring it recently - counting the cached stuff.
