You'll still get hit really hard with just an antifire potion. The players that you see using Godswords and Zamorakian spears are using super antifire potions.

I was looking my friend up on the high scores. He's rank 5,000 in Agility, which I thought was cool enough for a screenshot. :thumbup: He beat me in our race. :thumbdown:

The highest slayer master you can use is always the best to use. That includes experience, money, and charms.

I got my gilded altar at level 70. It's really worth it, in my opinion. I don't like relying on other people for things like altars, so having my own is very liberating.

There's your problem right there. What something's worth varies from player to player. As you can see, some people thought it was, some say it wasn't. Those who "know what they're talking about" just don't like it from personal preference. I haven't used them, I have no intent on using them, however my point is in fact a point. He could very well buy them, try them himself and find out if they're worth it. This is, of course, a game. Why not buy something if you want to? My point stands very strong, so thanks for the flame attempt, but it didn't work out. Yes, statistically, there are better things. But if you're going to go hardcore into statistics, then that's just ruining the fun of the game in my opinion. Fun is relative. Statistics are not. When someone asks a question on this forum, the most obvious way to answer is the statistical way. What if everyone just answered with LOLFUN advice? Spend that money on a Verac's skirt, proselyte top, and a lot of prayer potions for piety. Bam, you just trumped full bandos and your setup by miles.

I always think it's odd to see someone with a 99 and only a few exp above that 99.

The way I see it, solo Bandos (or any GWD boss) is more about fun than sustainable profit. Bring the overloads and brews. I'm not an expert on the subject by any means, but that's my two cents.

The ZMI hoodie is cool. I'm not a big fan of hats with graphics, so the Zaros hat doesn't appeal to me. I'd definitely buy a Zaros shirt or sweatshirt, though. I always liked the Bandos sweater with the symbol, but all the extra graphics put me off. EDIT: Very subtle references are best, in other words.

I try not to listen to anything Jagex says. They said that summoning was going to be a money maker so they can't be trusted. I can actually see this as being a huge money making skill for the f2pers. Summoning has made me way more money than I've spent on it, and I'm only level 92. You're crazy if you think Summoning isn't profitable.

Question: Is that level 25 with a defense cape going to be directly competing with you for resources (read: monsters and boss monsters)? No. Let them be. They have cool capes. Otherwise, they're mostly useless accounts.

I agree with everything that Stonewall said, as per usual. I would personally buy a Bandos Chestplate and use it with a Verac's skirt and SW cape for some turmoil/piety slaying. Great balance of prayer bonus, defense bonus, and strength bonus. I don't think it's worth saving up for, as Barrows armor will serve the same purpose for much cheaper.
