Halo has a compass to the nearest objective I believe. Halo 3 has a compass to true North. No no no, Halo1 compass points to the gas giant Threshold, which Halo orbits around and can be seen hanging in the sky in some levels.
  2. I think the greatest part about this is the name. "Bob's Game". Bob. If this guy were named Richard or Joshua, there's no way it could sound awesome. But his name is Bob. Awesome.

Does anyone have Marathon: Durandal from XBLA? If so, is the story confusing without having played the prequels? And since it's rated M, would I be able to download it even with having my age set as it is?
  4. Hahaha! I recently completed my 3678 line, cave-themed course, about 3 minutes? long. I actually finished quite some time ago, but since hypercam sucks the fat [wagon] and records it at double speed and is very jumpy with the framerate, I haven't posted it. Tips with hypercam? If not I'll just record as is.
  5. That is a lot of cigarretes. Guess you would need them living in that mess, eh?

  7. Ochen' khoroshiy*, Comrade! This was one of my favorite threads...for awhile. For the record, a certain few people should refrain from responding to every post. In fact, it might be best to just not at all. Maybe. And I hate to sound rude or something, but you did neglect to mention by efforts at reviving the thread after the big rollback, refinding all of the threads and whatnot. But it's cool. That's why this is in small text. *very good!
  8. Granted, but you're violated by Dumbledore. I wish to be touched by His Noodly Appendage.

Bringing down the establishment? Never. But the ESRB is another thing entirely... ESRB on the whole is a good idea on paper- keep young children from playing games that they shouldn't (mostly because of kids on XBL, etc.), but falters in execution. I know I was playing Halo in 6th grade, far below 18. But there are those that keep their children from these, and that's fine, but what really bothers me is the age limits. M is rated what, 17? 18? Generally around 15-16 you've, in most cases, broken that barrier between being traumatized by a necromorph in Dead Space and just shrugging it off and blowing away it's..well, everything.
  10. I persuaded a congressman to vote against the $700bil bailout plan just for S&Gs.
  11. The sprinkles were marijuana laxatives.

What makes that story really awesome is that corpses can't fall and kill stuff. And there's no rocket launchers on Truth and Reconciliation. :twss:
  13. The one with all the man cannons? Never used it. And well, maybe my previous statement was wrong. Just don't invite me for anything other than custom games or campaign.

It seems like ESRB just has to rate for something, anything in a game. I saw an ad for Nintendogs in a magazine earlier, and it was rated for "comic mischief". And only comic mischief. The closest thing to mischief in that game is when the dogs play with each other, and that's a huuuuge stretch.
  15. Don't invite me to a Halo game unless you're doing swords, forging, or campaign, maybe Grifball. It's not a problem mostly, but I get a few custom slayer/infection invites every so often and I just don't care anymore.
  16. A new era- Formula1 in a minefield. Now that would be interesting.
  17. There still lies the problem of what time this will all take place.
  18. Just a fun observation from a completely different perspective (something I find myself doing often nowadays). I find it rather humorous that most people here abhor the thought of eating milk from a human, their own species, which they guzzled as babies, and would rather drink the milk of an animal of a totally different species never meant to be drank by Man. I suppose it can be tied to the meat; most people eat beef on a regular basis, but eating another human is socially frowned upon. Cannibalism and whatnot. But at least we were meant to eat meat, not humans, just as we were meant to drink breastmilk (to a certain extent), not bovine or goat milk. That said, I think it's pretty weird, mostly because I've spent the majority of my life drinking cow's milk.
  19. Overlord. It's like evil Pikmin. And Pikmin kicks preposterous amounts of the [wagon].
  20. Just whoever is fine with me. We can save SGP night for another day.
  21. The grunt from Halo 1 was better, the one with the food nipple.
  22. Sir, Lenin64 giving confirmation to Sunday co-op, sir! Just, uh, what time? And for the record, that's the only time I will call any of you sir. Especially dizzle. And apparantly I'm so good I can kill people without even knowing about them now.
  23. Oh yea, I almost forgot because I haven't used them in a long while, but I own a pair of throwing knives.
  24. Oh, that was you! I remember that, people telling you you'd look like your hair was thinning or something. I used to stab my friends with pens or pencils when they acted stupid. I drew blood on at least 1 occasion.
