Normally I laugh at using a game guide for a linear game, especially one without collectables, but that level is the exception. I think the first time I played it, I did so for at least an hour. I always try to "follow the enemies", because they only exist in areas where you need to be (for most games), but even that didn't work there.

You mean because there weren't Elites in 3? Technically, the H3 brutes had shields, I think. And The Maw was the shiz, man. At point I could actually close my eyes and walk myself through the entire level- not on the actual game, I'd get killed firing blind, but I knew the entire level layout :lol: The fun thing about 343 Guilty Spark was that there a bunch of stuff to find, too. I remember I had had the game for months, and one day my friend told me about something he had found in that level that I;d never seen; that room with an elevator, but the elevator just keeps screaming downwards (and explodes, I think). Of course, it took ages for him to find it again to show me....

Oh yea, weren't there also some marine bodies? I remember once, I somehow managed to kill the driver of the Wraith in the valley without destroying the Wraith itself. I was quite mad that I was unable to get in and drive it :lol: It really sucked because I spent a long time trying to do that.

I'm the same, but the opposite, and with socks. I'm always wearing socks unless I absolutely have to take them off (shower, etc). I always take off my shoes when I go into someone else's house, unless they stop me from doing so (which has never happened). My own domain is different, heck, I'm wearing shoes right now and I've been at home for about 3 hours.

Instead of a firewall, tip.it should get a wall of fire. Incinerate those responsible. And then maybe serve them with a side of melted butter.

I had a hit list once. I titled it and everything, called it my "People who's spleen I desire to tear out". It wasn't a real "hit list", though, just a list of people I didn't like. Some of my friends were even on it, I think. I certainly never acted on it, showed it to anyone, etc. I think I still have it somewhere, but I haven't looked at it in years. Not sure if that counts towards me being "that kid", though, as nobody else really knew about it.

I also loved grabbing a Banshee on the last bridge, since there was active camo nearby you could walk right up to it before the elite got in. And then you could fly right down to the control room instead of going to the area after the bridge, before climbing the CR pyramid.

No no no, the best level was Assault on the Control Room. There were at least 2 rooms filled with enemies you could go through without firing a single shot.And it had a scorpion. Whhat they did different in 2/3 is removing infinite grenades from multiplayer.
