Oh yes he talks (you'll have to private message me for facebook details) he talks long sentences now and he's only 2 lol He's a very smart boy, but I'm sure all mum's say that! He's two? I feel old now. That's not supposed to happen until I have kids!

Am I the only one that thought this was simply hilarious?

I don't really think I qualify as old school yet, but I remember a lot of the old school people everyone's talking about. Some of them I didn't realize weren't active anymore, like Blue Lancer. He was a cool dude.

I've taken my friend's ex-girlfriend as my own. He doesn't know, and he didn't know about us before when they were still dating. The only trouble is she's 17 and still in high school and I'm 18 and in college. Also yesterday I told her I love her even though I'm not sure just because I know she does and I wanted her to say it. She did immediately.

That's still quite a lot of pupil constriction. Well yea, but there's the window, and the flash, and the blinding lights from the mothership all around him.... I'm saying the kid is some alien freak.

Really? I'm the only one who's going to say something about this? I mean, come on. Ok then.

The ball went pretty well. I had fun,she had fun. Then afterwards we had a group of us and two of my buds plus their dates, we went and changed out of uniform and decided to go somewhere. We get back on campus and we're walking, when she says she's tired and wants to head back. So I walk her back while everyone else heads for a coffee shop, we get to her dorm, she thanks me for taking her, gives me a hug and that was that.

I think she would rather sit at a table for a meal. That was a joke, really. And she did want to sit with me at the game, but then I found out I don't get reception in the stadium so we couldn't coordinate (Yes, I could've used someone else's phone but I didn't think of that until later). Oh well, if I don't think of anything today, the ball's tomorrow night and that's kinda the whole point of me asking her to the ball in the first place.

Oh god, I hate it when parents do that. Give your dog a stupid name, not your kid :( That may have been the worst possible statement for this thread. I've never seriously considered changing my name, but my mom always said she wanted to name me "Jack". That's an awesome name, but my granddad gave her [cabbage] for it because my grandmother's boss's name was Jack and it was funny or something, I don't know. At this point I mostly go by my last name anyway. It's not that I dislike my first name, it's that my friends have decided that it fits better. I'm at the point where anyone using my first name just sounds weird. I would say to go by Cliff, since that sounds awesome, but if you don't like it then whatever. That ending "ffffff" sound is pretty great.

No predicament for me this time. In fact things are going possibly well. There's a girl in my English class I asked to the Navy Ball and much to the surprise of everyone involved she agreed. I asked her maybe 2 weeks ago, but because I'm [developmentally delayed]ed I didn't get her number at first and due to class cancellations/her not being in class I didn't manage to get it until Tuesday. She was still very much onboard with it though, and she suggested we get dinner sometime beforehand. We haven't been able to because I can't do dinner Tuesdays-Thursdays but maybe today. The point is, though, she said dinner. I'd seen somewhere, possibly here and possibly some stupid romantic-comedy movie that "lunch" is friend-zone territory but "dinner" is the opposite. Is this a generally accepted thing? Is that at all promising? There's a football game tonight and cadets can bring civilians after the first half, so if she's going I might invite her to sit there. Not quite dinner, but if she gets a turkey leg it's kind of the same thing. I know "date" and "girlfriend" are entirely separate entities but if I can grow one from the other that'd be pretty good, I should think.

[cabbage], my grandparents aren't even 70 yet, and my great-grandfather was 79 a few weeks ago. Parents had me at 21. I don't see anything wrong with having children in your 40s, though. Most of my friends have parents in their 50s or early 60s even.

World Series started and ended already? YES, less baseball on TV now  You were presumably annoyed about too much baseball on TV... ...but you weren't even aware the World Series was even in progress? :-k I always hated baseball season. The programming would say something good was on but oh woops baseball. And then baseball wouldn't end when it was supposed to so I couldn't watch the Simpsons.

Economic: -8.00 Social: 1.13 I'm genuinely surprised it doesn't put me higher on the authoritarian scale. Probably because I don't usually put "strongly agree/disagree".

Yeah if you look right behind the line you can sometimes see the big square area(looks like a bad patch job). That's what those are? I've been wondering that since before I started driving but nobody I aksked ever knew.

This. Actually no, because there would be no hypothetical situations for them to break out of. So what would happen is the opposite of that. Hypothetically, of course.

What if there were no more hypothetical situations?

I know, right? That's why I always use a hatchet.
