By spawn, do you mean the time it takes for the fruits/spines to fully grow? If so, I say the spines grow every 1 - 2 hours, I just pick them every herb run and it always works. As for fruits, I'd say around 2-3 herb runes for each tree to spawn 6 fruits.

But not in the high level bracket If you know how to use a high level pure (99str, range + mage with 52pray and 70+ attack), then you will still hold your own against others (pures or mains/tanks) alike. That's because a "high level" for a pure is at 100 combat, while an actual high level with maxed everything is at 120+ and would definately tear apart any pure. Maxed range/mage tank and "barrows pure" are all 102lv combat, you see them a lot in pvp worlds. They can and will crush any 1lv def easily. Barrows pure maybe not, but tanks might be trouble. But my point is if he promised himself to stay 1 defence, 70 something range is not the time to go tank.

Well, here's what I do on my pure. I either range/melee the minotaurs in the SoS, 10 or 27 are both fine, then when I get around 4k-5k arrows, I use them up at the hobgoblins near the crafting guild. This method works wonders for me.

^ actually it could hurt. I tried out our good old buddy Duradel at around 101 f2p combat. And he gave me a task of 50 steel dragons :wall: I cancelled them and guess what! Another task of steel dragons! :wall:

But the fact that players that are hardcore GWD/ any other boss monster slayers will have to gather ingredients by themselves.... It will really p*ss those people off. Snape grass is easy to collect, but ranarrs..... Farm ranarrs or MTK herbs. I get about 26 ranarrs per farming trip (I should really do My Arm) thats about 20 prayer pots in less then a 5 minute run. At bandos or zammy you'll use 2 to 4 prayer pots per hour (if your using more then your doing something wrong) or bosses well it depends on the boss. But you'd need to use more then 20 (4) p pots per 75 minutes before there hard to come by. [/hide] The fact is they have to wait 2 hours. I don't think many hardcore boss hunters would want to wait 2 hours AFTER they have everything else needed. The waiting is what is killing them. Anyone who is boss hunting is either doing it for fun or for money. If its for fun it can wait and if its for money then they should already be planting either ranarrs or snapdragons on the side. If your a pro (as in professional) monster hunter you'll always keep enough supplies for atleast 3 trips in your bank (personally I normally have atleast 20 super restores, 60 brews, 20 prayer pots, 20 super sets and so on, at any one moment in time). That way you can speed up trips (faster banking and can sell group members supplies to start trips quicker) and don't waste time GE'ing all the time. o and FYI 75 minutes is only 1 hour 15 minutes. People know merchanting clans manipulate pretty much every item, but people still fail to stock up when items they need are low and hold back when the items are high. Maybe I shouldn't have said hardcore slayers, because it seems reasonable that they keep backup supplies. But what about those other casual slayers? Surely not EVERYONE has backups in their bank, that's why I'm saying these merch clans have gone too far. Oh, and FYI :roll: , herbs (and all other crops) grow in cycles. Each plant has 4 or 5 cycles, and each cycle has a timer. For example, let's say the timer for a herb is 15 minutes, and say you plant the seed JUST AFTER the cycle has started. That means it will take 10-15 minutes for the herb to grow to the next stage. Sometimes, when doing a herb run, your timing is off, and you plant 2 in one cycle and 3 in the other. The timing is almost NEVER exactly 1 hour 15 minutes. It's more around 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours. Most people time their herb runes to that time. And I was using 2 hours because I have used 1.5 hours before, but 2 of my herbs weren't grown.

I really dont suggest remodelling your house pre 70 construction. Reason being at 70 construction, you can build dungeons, and you might need some rooms for that. But anyways... here goes. I'm a big fan of closed off houses, and my house layout currently is closed off. Your proposed plan looks wonderful, two portal chambers and studies on the ground floor is very helpful. As for future rooms, most likely, its going to be a bar of some sort, so it would probably go in your ground floor. But tbh, I wouldn't worry too much about it right now, because the house just would'nt look good with an empty space on the ground floor. One thing I've found out: I moved my dinning room to the basement, this is really useful, because at lvl 74, you will start to train using oak doors. The dining room has a bell-pull that is handy for getting the butler down there. Other than that, the dining room isn't really need at all imo. The upstairs parlor is also not needed, but its up to you if you want it or not. I myself put my workshop, combat and games room upstairs because I found no use for them on the ground floor. I'm a f2p right now, so i can't remember exactly what i had on the ground floor, but I must say your proposed plan looks way better than your current one. The odds for remodelling for free, hmm... seems a bit low. I mean, it costs money in real life to remodel your house, so i guess it's reasonable it costs some gp in runescape. Lastly, after all that, I must say designing your own house is the best part about construction, and you should really put your ideas first and other's opinions second :D

I personally liked it better when the GE wasn't around, simply because the fact that it is too easily exploited. Look at pray pots and sup restores right now :ohnoes: However, things that make the game more convenient, aka you latter examples, are fine with me. They don't neccessarily make the game "easier", I just didn't like it when i had to bank all my crops after every 2 patches, or if i forgot to fill my ectophial and was already at castle wars :wall: . As for cooked lobs less than raw, i guess it doesn't make any sense, but that's how the game goes. O well :|

Yea i also hate it when you have to remove an entire room sometimes. Even if they give back the mounted shark/kbd head, etc, I'd be more than happy to buy another gold leaf and remodel it that way. They give us back glories, so why not the stuffed trophies :thumbdown: It's also the reason why I'm reluctant to decorate my skill hall and why my house is very empty.

It annoys me when people put down another's achievement in the "Rate this" boards. But then giving out a higher rating and overuses a ton of " s" and "ilu's" for a friend's similar achievement. Not saying it happens all the time (or only at tipit), but.... whenever i see it, it just saddens me.

There have been posts from JAGEX staff saying skill capes are not going f2p they are getting something else. Unless you can provide a source for this 5% no body will belive it.
