Why not? What skills are involved in pvp then? Will a hybrid that uses prayers well really have the same win/loss ratio as someone who doesn't? If I can extrapolate correctly, PKers knowingly give their opponents a chance to win the chance to win in return. This is the PKer mentality and why Pkers find it dishonorable to safe. I disagree with this mentality because I think there are things that you can do in RS combat that make luck less important of a factor. The point is, if you pray, then your opponent will pray. If you safe to full, your opponent will do the same. Then he will run/tele or you will run/tele, depending on who gets luckier with more hits through prayer, and the fight was basically a waste.

Okay then. Why is that? Can you give an example where a godsword trumps a whip and a defender? Please don't just come in here and say "oh, it's a decent weapon" without actually giving any argument to defend that position. Like in pvp?

Obviously, to maxed out players, and players who have a chaotic maul, the godsword is beyond useless. BUT, That doesn't mean it's useless for everyone.

I think this needs to be looked at separately. Praying overheads in hybrids, deep wildy is fine IMO. Like you said, it might be the only thing to help you survive. However, in edgeville fights where people are going melee v melee, range v range or range v melee, it's pretty dumb to pray. All that does is make the other person pray, and now you got two people maxing at around 350 and flaming each other. Doesn't make it fun for anyone. IMO it's just better to not pray overheads and accept that you might get ko'd sometimes. Edge is so close to the ditch anyways, for anyone who needs to run, it's not that hard.

Come at me, then. Show me how I'm going to enjoy a 'painful' existence when I'm fully aware of what the update will entail. Yes, I might not know the nuances such as exactly what the 'trust game' was, but I'm also not an idiot. You should be directing that at the ones who say bringing back free trade will cause havoc because scammers and RWT will be everywhere. Not the ones who say if someone is dumb enough to get scammed, then they need to learn from it and move on.

And i didn't see much worth in the last 7 years when i didn't know that i was even going to get a worthwhile drop. I would hardly call it a golden age. The first time I got membership, I sent in 40 CAN for 6 months. The next time I tried, I had the same problem as you. It's been like this for over a year now, they said it's some issue unrelated to the loonie value, they can only accept USD right now. I exchanged for 40 USD at the bank and mailed it in for another 6 months, it worked perfectly. Exchanging 40 USD isn't that much work tbh, it takes like 2 minutes at a TD bank. And if you're fine with waiting a week for your money to be sent, then I'd still reccommend mailing the cash. If you're going to buy a card, they're more expensive, but easier and faster to use.

If you want to do that, go to castle wars. Face it, you only want to kill them because you can't pk someone with actual gear to save your life. Skillers have just as much right to use the wildy as anyone, risk vs reward does have an actual meaning you know. What??? You just contradicted yourself. You want risk vs reward but you don't want people killing you while you skill in the wilderness... hmmm...?? Also, I can make generalisations too. I tend to avoid skillers/boss hunters. They're arrogant and childish and they boost their ego by crashing someone 10 levels lower than them. The skillers think they're uber awesome because they have skillcapes. Won't matter much, since combat familiars don't help in the Warriors guild. And a defender doesn't help when imbueing pouches. But if you still need charms, and aren't looking to burst rock lobsters, then get a defender first.

OK. So now you use addy arrows. At 95 range, it maxes around 17/18? Which is around 1.5x as much as iron arrows. So that would be 45k exp/hr? yay! But hey, if you can't get p2p for any reason, then hobgoblins, like I said in my first post. Cheers and good luck.

I don't think getting a defender costs money or takes a long time, so why don't you get both? :razz:

But realise alot of those were there before, and they have said relocating content that was added after, such as quests and minigames. Plus, it's like a 5 second run from edge to the chaos tunnels. And you'll be geared, so it should be pretty easy to survive a few barrages. Just my thoughts.
