Actually, if you want more fun, you can wait until all the monks respawn, then take the wine and get them to attack you. After that, make all the monks stand in a single square and ICE BURST / POWERSTAB!! Then, you can grab the wine =P.

Other than that, 99% of the people who don't have skillcapes in P2P would have the d.slayer cape too... Besides, quests like MEP and DT are already harder than d.slayer...

Opal rins is way too powerful IMO, it's just like a MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper and useful version os an onyx ring to me, as long as you have an antipoison pot (and antipoison potd arent hard to get)

No runes = No effort 70 Magic = Isn't that hard Cast this spell = LAZY! Shld make it 99 Mage req. like the guy abv says, and make it costs like 2 Laws, 1 Soul and 10 Air Runes.

Castlewars is quite nice if you're looking for something fun with decent EXP. Just mage anyone who isn't wearing a red or black dragonhide. If you're looking for safespots use the underground tunnels, behind fallen rocks. Or if you prefer the boring but faster path, caged ogres above ardougne definitely!! (Like the guy above says)

Sad to say, we're more or less losing the battle against autoers IMO. Spinning 7k flax at lumb castle, I see lots and lots and lots of autoers per hr, and these autoers know how to COMPELTE NILES/MILES/GILES random, how to COMPLETE FROG RANDOM, and even how to DRINK AN ANTIPPOT WHEN THEY GET POISONED BY STRANGE PLANT!

IMO Dragon Slayer isnt that hard a quest lol, and it already has its own rewards, ie ability to wear r00n plate + green dhide body. So there isnt a need for a DRAGON SLAYER CAPE cos everyone in P2P would probably be wearing one if they dont have a skillcape yet -.-

Gold farmers cause: - Jagex to ban people unfairly, when Person 1 wants to give Person 2 a present for some occasion to celebrate or anything like that and they both get banned for real world trading. - Prices of Pure essence to drop RAPIDLY. (100gp - 75gp... but I think they're going back up now with the introduction of the ZMI update) Good for the crafters yes, but bad for the economy. - Peoples' efforts in fishing sharks, mining p ess go down the drain. Mining 10k p ess to hopefully sell for 1mil? No, you can't do that anymore. Gold farmers probably sell p ess for a lower price than usual And what is causing this?: - Personal gain. "P ESS AUTOERS / GOLD FARMERS ARE GOOD I CAN NOW GET MORE PROFIT FROM RCING YAY!" Have you thought about people who hard mined p ess, only to find that they can't sell it due to gold farmers offering much better selling prices? "W00T SHARK AUTOERS / FARMERS ARE GOOD: CHEAP SHARKS FTW" (Yes, I have heard a 3-digit level say this before) Again, not thinking about proper people who spent lots of time fishing sharks to *hopefully* make a profit? - "Heck-care" Attitude . "Don't worry, someone will eventually report them all and Jagex will banz0rd them all!". Assuming that gold farmers will totally quit Runescape one day. Which leads to: - Gold farmers staying - Effects of gold farming repeating - Whole thing goes in a cycle. However, Jagex did do quite a good job banning autoers and gold farmers lately though.

In P2P, I don't think anyone;s stupid enough to make NORMAL DEFENCE pots anyway, practically a ranarr wasted. Attack pots shldn't be a problem, but the main problem that I see here is the inbalance of a defence pot being made F2P and one made in P2P. A def pot made in P2P costs about 8k, whereas if Jagex included a def pot in F2P that can be made by some NPC, Jagex probably can't even out the cost of the ranarr between P2P and F2P (unless they made ranarrs droppable by F2P monsters o.o) as most F2P items are fairly easy to get, therefore making defence pots easier to make in F2P.

Last I remember they were about 200-250gp each. Yes, they still are around that price range. So much for threadstarter's million-gp-making-method.
