Wow, Amoeba, you just took me back in time. Loved TopCat; good ol' TC and Benny. I'm old enough to remember watching the show in the early '60s and still love it. Great name for your kitty! Here's a pic of what the Butter looked like as a kitten; he was special from the beginning: By the way, he woke us up this morning at around 6:00, purring and kneading in the blankets.

Most Useless Item on Runescape
I've never even seen a tile, but it seems to be the popular useless item. I have a few to add... The stupid Varrock Herald that I squandered 50gp on. An empty bird nest that is taking up space in my bank; I keep thinking I'll find a use for it. Oh, yeah, the skull I found the first time I ever went into the Wildy.

Lol; love the part about the basket. Don't even bother trying to get him or her to sleep in the basket. The kitten will probably want to sleep with you and of course, being the nocturnal creatures that they are, the kitten will play for about half the night. Butter sleeps with us and is very good about being quiet until about 5:30 or 6:00 when he wants to be fed. So we get up, make coffee and feed him. He's not spoiled. \

Flametrooper, sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Oreo :( I had a Russian Blue that I got when he was three weeks old and he died over 5 years ago at the age of 17. I still think about him every day; he was undoubtedly the best cat I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, so I understand what you're going through and to this day, whenever I see a Russian Blue, I feel sad. Anyway, on to happier topics; here are some more pics of Butter and Oreo: ... and this is to prove that Butter knows how to do something besides lie on his side:  Amoeba_009, Leonardo da Vinci once said, "The smallest of the felines is a Masterpiece!" This is just a random pic of some kittens I found on one of the trillions of cat websites that are on the internet, but they're very cute! -- Mary

Dying after evil bob
Sorry for you loss, Sir_Squal0. I'll add you ingame and you can add me if you like. We all do stupid things and your admitting and owning up to it, without begging is admirable. Good luck!

Hee, I think we were hungry when they were born. Oreo tangled with a dog in May and she is now tailless, as well. Butter was born with no tail. Sorry, I don't have any pics of Oreo sans tail. When we take some, I'll post them.

Whoa, too cute. Don't know if I can top that, but here are some pics of Butter, with his sister, Oreo. I guess we were hungry when they were born, that's why the have food-type names: They are precious; tons of fun, about 2 years old. :)

This is a lovely thread; I've been a cat lover all my life and currently have six of them. 5 of them live outside and prefer that, but we regularly update their vaccinations and keep flea stuff on them. We don't put pesticides on the grass and it's okay if they eat that. We have another fat, yellow, tailless, spoiled-rotten 2 year old male who prefers to live inside, but goes outside for periodic adventures. His name is "Butter". I've always preferred males to females because they just seem to be a bit more mellow, whether spayed, neutered or not. You can bottle-feed as several of the posters here have mentioned and Silver Wits was particularly on point regarding the variety of their food and not feeding them high-calorie food all the time. The best cat I ever had was a Russian Blue, named "Trotsky" who lived to be 17 years old. He was crazy about cucumbers and green olives. Go figure. You can also buy a product at a pet store, that is a little bowl with seedlings in it. Here in the States, it's called "Kitty's Salad Bowl." You put the seedlings in the bowl, puncture holes in the lid, kind of like a greenhouse thingy, and put the lid on top of the bowl. Keep it watered, and in 7-10 days you will have a patch of rye grass for your indoor pal. By the way, cats come house-trained for the most part. Their mothers teach them to use the potty away from the nest, so the ideas about showing your new kitty the litter box are good as well. Good luck and I'll post some pics of our spoiled "Butter" ! :D

The "Miss teen South Carolina" Game!
[Off topic] Hee, Abelmisi, couldn't resist googling your name; it's very nice, by the way! [On topic] The meaning of Life? Maybe I should toss this one back to Miss South Carolina!! No, really, the meaning of life is the absence of death. Death runes, great things, don't know what to do with 'em yet, but there they are. Kinda like the presence of Paris Hilton in our lives, spreading a special kind of joy and happiness to all the unfortunates of the world. As Ambassador to Mars she will enjoy a special closeness to all Martians and other off-earthians, as she goes around spreading tackiness and crappy morals to carbon and non-carbon based lifeforms. E G A D !!!!! The brain rot is almost complete. Did Gerald Ford do the right thing when he pardoned Richard Nixon back in 1974?

The "Miss teen South Carolina" Game!
I assume that you're named "Abelmisi" because you love the randomness of the name, or maybe it's some kind of a Hungarian thing. Hungarian? Gotta love Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen; it's sorta Hungarian. Queen? Of England? Of France? "I see London, I see France, I see someone's underpants!" Underpants, Orpheus in His Underpants. . . it's a must-hear overture. Kind of like the 1812, only quieter. Quiet Riot; whatever happened to them? Did they write any overtures, or just symphonies? BLAARRRGH! Stop it !!!!!! Is adventurer Steve Fossett dead in the deserts of Nevada, or has he acsconded to a tropical island?

The "Miss teen South Carolina" Game!
Yes, they do; they seek and promote World Peace with all of their pretty, tiny, pink hearts. Hearts, what a grand game; get rid of your cards, and peg out. Wait! That's Cribbage! Crib Notes, Cribs... ya all should see my Crib, it rocks. But my ride is better; fuzzy dice, purple fur on the dashboard and a backseat full of speakers. Too bad it's a 1992 Sentra, but it's still sweeeeetttt! Enough. BTW, Fluffyzoe64, I fell out of my chair laughing! I have the cheese now, you're banned and I hate you for being so damn clever! Do you believe the Kennedy assassination was a conspiracy or the work of a lone, deranged gunman?

How smart are you?
10/10 "Food," he said as a holophrasis; "D'you mean, '"Give me food?"' asked his mother. amanuensis - Latin based, a sort of stenographer. The amanuensis carefully wrote the dictation from the Dictator Tiberius.
