Rares for everyone! I would love to see rares die and the high end economy crash onto all the lower economy. The lower economy (ore, logs, etc) will recover, but the rare economy will never go high again if they do this every christmas.

What does that have to do with the topic of the thread? If you read it, the OP asks why such a rule is in the game. If you read it and still posted this, you are just a forum [bleep] going for +1s. If you aren't going to contribute just don't post.

But it isn't the rich players fault the poor player is bad at the game. If you are poor, you shouldn't cwars/pk until you have better stuff, it is your own fault for going unprepared. The advantage the rich player had was that the other person is bad at the game, and you should always have an advantage over someone that is bad at the game. There is only difference between getting it in luck as you described or drop trading is that you don't have to rely on luck to get rich. If it isn't unfair for the guy that found a party hat, it isn't unfair for a drop trader. The end result is the same, you get a lot of money for no work. Actually, at least the drop trader had to work for the money on his main instead of getting lucky. Why would it be an advantage to get 100mil on my lvl 3 from drop trading as opposed to getting 100mil from merchanting on that lvl 3? The end result is the exact same, so the advantage can't be different. The end result is the only way you could possibly have an advantage, it doesn't matter how you get there. So what if I didn't work for it on the lvl 3, that is no advantage at all, all it did was stop me from needing to repeat what I just did even more. I agree with whoever said that Jagex has that rule just so people play longer and pay more, not because of fairness. 2 pkers are fighting with the exact same equipment and stats. One worked for 100mil, the other got 100mil from a drop trade. Who has the advantage in that fight? Its called a lvl 3 throwaway account....

If Jagex updated f2p, as a f2p player would you get members? If no: Then why should Jagex update f2p? They aren't getting closer to making you a member. If yes: Why didn't you just get members anyway? You get members updates, plus that f2p update they did to make you join members.

Declining? Maturity has been gone for awhile, at least in the majority of people I see.

I think total level is more important. It shows that you have done all aspects of the game, and not just grind the easy skills to 200mil xp.

I'd buy the legs, I can afford it so why not. If I ever need money I can just sell them.

I have it on friends because I only want to talk to those people: my friends. Just because I answered a question for you or did some small favor doesn't mean I am your friend. So many people that I say 1 sentence to add me to friends.

2 different responses As a player- go around and ban bots for fun, ban scammers for fun, make begging against the rules, ban beggars for fun, no helm/cape requirement in cwars, make mage/range as strong as melee, make a lot more runes with runecrafting, more arrowheads per bar, cheaper runes and arrows from the shop (last 2 are to make mage and range more affordable compared to melee), make the word filter optional, and many other things. As a buisinessman- Try to keep the majority happy so I can make as much money as possible. Pretty much do what jagex does now.

I'd talk to my friends on some other chat program. It doesn't have to be ingame.

Ancient magic was cool. And cook-x was good, I was fishing/cookign when that came out.

And so what if f2p is in the majority? They are the majority that aren't paying for the game. Its not stupidity, it is smart to disadvantage f2p, so that they might want to become members.

I buy runes from them in world 2. No one else sells them, not going to get them myself so I have to buy from them. I buy yews from them too because they sell cheaper than players.

I was selling a d axe, the guy puts up 2.7 like I ask. He declines and says 'oops'. So he trades me again and puts 6.5mil. I thought right away it was a scam so I was watching. I waited for him to accept first both times and he did. I'm still wondering what he did wrong to give me 6.5mil.

No skill is harder than others. Some just take more time and dedication, but that doesn't make them hard to do. Yeah it takes a lot more time to get 99 mining as apposed to 99 cooking, but is it really that hard to click an ore? And unless you can get a 99 in a couple days, it isn't easy. It still takes a lot of dedication to get any 99.
