Well honestly, the recording industry needs to get with the times. Music is too expensive, especially since you get someone to make it for you once, put it in to a playable format once, then have unlimited copies of the song. They also hate selling online, and streaming services don't last long nor are they available in my country. On top of that I rarely find any music I'd be interested in at any near by music store. Adding to the fact that I don't have a credit card makes for an impossible time to buy music I like. Not to mention they are expensive.

Those things won't disappear because Rudd has, as they are Labor's policies. The internet proposals are made by Stephen Conroy anyway. If we vote out Labor then Conroy won't be able to force his failures on to us. If we reject it it's because we don't see climate change as a viable threat or problem.

If I was Kevin Rudd I would have walked in to the Governor General's office at 8am (an hour before Labor met) and called for an election. It would have meant that he stayed in power till after the election, as either way he's out and it would have helped screw Labor over even more. There's no chance of Labor winning the next election anyway, so it's just a matter of how long until they're out.

If the Catholic Church really had power over laws(in Canada at least) abortion would be illegal, gay marriage would be illegal, contraception would be illegal, divorces would be illegal, and more. Imagine if they had no power.... We'd be 1,000 years in the future, and gays would be treated the same. I'm not sure where you're going with this. I've already proven to you that in developed countries the church has no power over law. No, this isn't the case in every single country, but more and more it is the norm. Sorry I wasn't clear, the church still has some power, even if it's small. One thing you have to remember is the church influences decisions of votes and bill approval/denial by telling people what is and isn't acceptable.

I don't really get the whole proud to be gay thing, it'd be like me having 'proud to not take it up the arse' in my sig. It doesn't serve any purpose and only shows what my posts prove anyway. Tbh it's just in my sig because idk what else to put in there. rofl. When I find something interesting I'll swap it out, I just don't like empty sigs. Maybe "Fighting for equal rights!" or "Me and Mag** be fighting for equal rights!" This is garbage, as society becomes more and more secular the controls religion have over lawmakers become practically nonexistent. It isn't garbage, because I said as long as they have the power they do, which means when they lose that power things shall change. For the better.

Not much, a few cases of shoplifting as a small child, climbing and getting access to places illegally. Oh and fencing items. Never been caught.

There are cultures where people are married at young ages. I remember being told about people in Papa New Guinea where by 13 they're married and most likely have a child. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it Islamic countries people (especially girls) are married at a young age too. So why are your morals the only option?

Yeah, I can really see it end well. I honestly feel sorry for any kid who is paired with a violent or gang kid. Or a gay kid paired with someone who still follows the Law of the bible.

Because it's not a culture. Also, adolescent rejection is more peer pressure and rebellion, same with other things such as a back brace or head gear. The kid would rather look normal and lose hearing than be different.
